The bathrooms were disgusting as well as the showers. There weren’t many accommodations especially for the high price and the campsites were very close together. I will say the beach was very nice and had a good location.

Excellent location and pristine lake for a reasonable cost. We camped after Labor Day so lots of open spaces, but we are sure this place is packed in season. The RV sites had electric and water. The dump and trash stations were on your way out of the camping area. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. We loved the location, we had ducks walking around our chairs at the beach (probably expecting crumbs of bread). We wish we had less rain because the lake looked ideal for swimming and water activities.Walkability: Excellent trails in the park for exploring

Beautiful campgrounds. I only wish the sites weren't so close together. They can accommodate a good amount of people. The bathrooms were clean and taken care of. A separate place to do your dishes. You can get primitive sites for tents or almost full hookups. No black water, but there is a dump station. There are a lot of dumpsters for all your trash over by the dump station.

Loved the location and access to the lake/beach, and the state park and campgrounds had all the amenities - clean bathrooms, showers (with hot water!) - but a couple of negatives: 1) the camp sites are way too close to each other and there is no privacy between sites, 2) due to the proximity to other campsites, if your neighbors are chain smokers then you will spend the duration of your stay inhaling their smoke (why can’t smoking be prohibited in a state park?!), 3) firewood is $10/bundle at the ranger’s station, but they don’t give you the highest quality wood so you may want to buy elsewhere nearby. Otherwise, a great location to bring your family camping and enjoy all the activities that the lake has to offer.

I absolutely LOVE this campground. It's so clean and well managed. The MAINE Rangers do such a great job as stewards of their beautiful land. The lake is clean, the showers are hot and the memories made each year with my family are priceless. We will continue to come back every year.

This is a huge campground. The showers were clean and had hot water. The bathrooms were very clean. We enjoyed our time here. The staff was so nice. Very friendly staff. The people working in the front check in and the staff around the park. The lake was amazing. Great clear water. We loved it. Being from Texas, this was our first time here. We will definitely be back soon! Also about 20-30 minutes from stores and Walmart

Went camping here 9/11/21. It was gorgeous. We had a small tent site #113 and I was amazed at the view of the water even with another campsite between us and the water, it was stunning the whole time watching the sun change. Lovely rock too, where you can sit and listen to the water right below or stargaze without too many trees above, or just gaze at the expanse of the lake.Bathrooms, showers and dishwashing sink were just a short walk away and very well maintained. Cleanest campground bathrooms I have seen!! Cell reception never faltered here. Campground staff were very friendly and helpful. We went one one loop “nature trail”, which was so pretty full of mushrooms and green mosses… I wish there were a better map of all the trails, but we also didn’t spend a ton of time hiking in the first place, so no biggie.I love it here and can’t wait to come again, hopefully more than one night next time!

The beach is paradise. The water is crystal clear. The campsites are packed together. There is zero privacy. The bathrooms are clean. It is a family atmosphere with a great playground, volleyball, tether ball and corn hole. My children and grandchildren love it and go every year.

Been going for years. Great place to camp with family and have access to the beach and lake. Safe for the kids too. There is a playground here for the little humans to mingle. Ample sandy beach area. Great sunsets too! It does get windy at times but this is expected when you camp at a lake.

A gem of a park on an enormous lake. Best way in is to hike or boat to clean trash free beaches. One can easily raft there from the Crooked river at many road and trail access points with great stops along the way. My only caution would be to watch for unleashed dogs on the trails. "He's friendly" is not a very reassuring comment if a dog is running towards you. The comment always reveals the fact that the owner does not have control of his animal.

Beautiful park, beautiful lake. Clean, clear water. It's a big area with a food stands for quick, hot snack food and drinks. Bathrooms are clean, big and have shelf space for clothes, bags etc. There was about a 45 minute line wait. They route the traffic around a bit, perhaps to keep the traffic flow off main streets. It's worth the wait.

I love this campground because the tent sites are well-separated from RV sites and thus are typically very quiet. Nice activities for families, easy hiking trails, good stargazing, two different kayak launch sites within the park, and friendly Rangers. One of the nicest state parks I've stayed in across the country.

We visited in the fall and enjoyed seeing the changing foliage. The lake and the scenery were spectacular. Most of the park activities had ceased for the season but it was apparent they have many activities and amenities during the summer and would be great fun during the warmer months.

I wish they didn't allow smoking and if they had to then maybe make one side campground smoking other side NOT. Our site is next to smokers and it's not what camping and being outside is about. It hurts my lungs. We just checked in last night but unfortunately will have to leave or see if another site is available. I'm not trying to complain BUT I shouldn't have to have my tent full of cigarette smoke! Especially in the great outdoors of a Maine stat park! Ok thanks.I give the rangers all 5 stars they were great last night while checking in.

This state park is a jewel. Campsites are spacious, level, and within a well maintain forest environment. The beach and swimming area is great for children and adults alike.Restroom/Showers were clean and well cared for. Sebago Lake is gorgeous and the roadways and sites around the lake are an added pleasure to a visit here.

My husbands family has been camping here for years. This was the first year we have been able to go with our own little family. We love the playground and beautiful beach. The campsites are nice with lots of variety. There's always activities to partake in and the restrooms are clean. We are excited to carry on this camping tradition more in the future.

A wonderful place for a fall walk. There are several woods trails through the park. On the day use side, you can pick up the loop by the beach. It's a little under 4 miles if you do the full loop, all very level and easy. The beach area has plentiful picnic tables, including several which are designated handicap accessible. It was very quiet on an late October Monday and we only encountered a handful of other people, all of whom were practicing good social distancing/mask wearing. The gate was unmanned/honor system fees.

Awesome campground. We go every year and rain or shine, have a blast. It is a family campground so if you are looking to party after 10pm (play music and talk above a whisper) this may not be the place for you. Would be nice if night hours were extended to 11pm. Bathrooms and showers are great and kept clean. Beach is big enough. Horse shoe pits have been there for years and now corn hole competitions have been added. No movies this summer in the amphitheater (probably due to Covid). Looking forward to 2022!

A must-visit for anyone visiting Maine, or that lives here. You can spend hours wandering around the grounds checking out the impressive trees and wildlife. If you get bored in the trees (how could you?!) just head on over to the beach! Seriously, you'll go from heavy woods to wide open lake. Just breathtaking 😍

Beautiful State Park. It's great for The whole family to enjoy. It's become our favorite place. There's a ton of picnic tables and open areas to set up your own chairs blankets and such. There's grills available to use and if you're not up for that there's a little snack shack. The burgers are pretty tasty. Make sure you have bug spray and sun screen. I highly suggest visiting Sebago Lake State Park!

Visited during off season to volunteer raking. Had a pleasant hike and walk. Beautiful when the crowds are gone, and the lake is calm without boat traffic. (We have visited many times before during summer seasons and it was also lovely but of course more crowded.)

Campsites are on top of each other. The lake is really the attraction so don't count on having the same camping experience as elsewhere. The bathrooms are reasonably clean. Ducks, skunks and squirrels seem to be overpopulated and will get into your kayaks, boats and campsite so don't leave any food/trash out. Would return for lake access but didn't love it as a campground.

Good family friendly campground! But truth be told, it's more of a camper/trailer park. While I did see some six or seven tents, it was minimal compared to the number of trailers and campers. The lake itself and the surrounding amenities are wonderful. Bring what you need! The camp store is not cheap! We had a wonderful time there.

The actual state park is beautiful. We had a View of the lake from our campsite. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Other campers were horrific. Be prepared for screaming babies, loud music, chainsaws, and a lot of parties. Quiet hours are not respected. People parting until 2am and up at 6am cutting trees down with their chainsaws.

We went on a chilly day but the water was clean & soft sand only some rocks. Pretty trees for shade & roots that help prevent erosion. Picnic tables and some grills provided. Playground & swing set. Restrooms with running water

A wonderful State Park on Sebago Lake. Nice Beach, good camping grounds, friendly staff. The easiest four star State Park I've ever found, however it's the family operated snack shack by the beach that pushes the state park to a five-star. Food menu is pretty average for a state park although the service and friendliness is fantastic. They went out of their way to make my experience at the park a memorable one. If you're looking for a place to cool off and grab a bite to eat this is the state park for you.
