Ashley was super helpful and kind. I go here often and she's always smiling and laughing with customers. I needed help getting cat food on the top shelf way in back, and she stopped stocking shelves, grabbed a stool and immediately helped me with a smile on her face.

This is the absolute worst dg I have ever been to...and I lived in Florida for 11 urs...... thought it was closed when I pulled in not 1 car...so not sure how there 2 lazy employees get there or how they can afford to treat customers poorly...not sure how this place stays open but Otis the fat bald "manager" with no people skills might have something to do with the lack of customers...

This is the absolute most cluttered store I have ever been to....shelves empty of products that are sitting right in front of where they should be....2 employees hanging out in the office and having to "squèze the pig for service"...only to get an attitude from "otis" the store manager after an issue with store policy....and the poor guy in front of me was the actual victim of otis...jeez JEEZ STAY AWAY!!

Whoever the cashier was today 8/22/2023 around 5:30PM leaves a lot to be desired in the customer service department. For starters, every time I come into the store she is on her phone. She takes personal phone calls all day long. Secondly, she decided to count the cash drawer when there was at least 10 people in line and yelled rudely “someone will be with you EVENTUALLY”. I stood there for at least 15 minutes and she never returned to check anyone out so I left. This location has been going completely downhill-can’t keep employees, and the ones who show up are unprofessional and rude. Just a warning for everyone to go to literally any other dollar general in the area!

This place is like a mini-Walmart for the Milford, Bradley, and Old Town area! The interior of the store is beautiful and the prices are good. Service is friendly. All the stuff is organized logically and it is easy to find, even if you have never been here before. Only complaint is that they leave carts full of merchandise in the aisles sometimes and sometimes the store is a bit messy.

Worst dollar general I've ever been in, I'm surprised it is not closed down. Just stood in line for 20 minutes while a new employee struggled on the register and the shift manager watched from the office. Not to mention the store has been a mess since it opened. Not a great experience at all. Perhaps if they paid a living wage they could find enough help to make the store function properly.

Buy dogfood( Iams can food )here. They ring you up than ask if want receipt. I usually dont but encourage it. Some prices advertised arent what you pay. They been charging $2.50 per can of advertised 1.85. Sounds like not big deal but its the point. Adds up. Especially when hannaford charges 1.69.Anyways got my refund after management argued some..Went in 2 days later, shelf said 1.85..went to register, still rang up at 2.50..Never even fixed issue, robbing customers. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS..its obvious why they are quick to ask if u even want it..than toss it..

I stopped on the way to a ballgame to get my 3yr old granddaughter some kind of shoe to get her through the morning since we forgot shoes for her that morning we left early and she was in her jammies lolI went in and couldn't find shoes or kids clothes that's when they said oh we don't have or carry that stuff anymore!!!

Solid Do-Gen location. This spot is very convenient for us and I almost always pass it on my way home. They have some of what you'd find at Dollar Tree, plus items that cost a little more that you'd normally go to the grocery store for, all without having to enter the raging dumpster fire that is Family Dollar. There's a section for $1 items, and everything else is clearly marked. This location is pretty clean, especially given that it's fairly new to the area. There is typically a bit of clutter and stock laying around, and some of the isles seem a bit narrow. No issues with the staff or products, both are par for the course. All-in-all, no reason not to recommend this Do-Gen, and if you've seen one you probably don't need this review.

A few days ago on my birthday my fiancé and I went in to buy cat food and laundry detergent. We paid with cash then put $5 on our card. When we were doing the transaction the supposed manager was on her phone and not paying attention. Our card was approved and we stood for a few seconds and waited for her to ask if we wanted our receipt but she didn’t say anything so we grabbed our items and walked off and told her to have a good day. As we were walking away she yelled at us and said that our card wasn’t accepted and that she needed us to put it back in. We then said to her that it was approved but she must’ve missed the transaction because she was looking at her phone. We show her our bank statement and she starts saying “well if I am $5 short at the end of the night I’ll know who it’s from”. I then told her that was unnecessary and she could’ve just accepted her mistake and apologized and she then just started freaking out. She was telling us to get out of the store when we were asking to speak to management about her attitude. She then came out from around the counter and started screaming in my face. She was about 4” away from me when my fiancé put his arm between us and told her not to get in my face or touch me. She then pushed us out the door and locked the doors behind us with 6 customers inside and the coke-a-cola delivery driver and started taking photos of us and our car. I don’t know if she was just having a rough day because I have gone in a handful of times before and never have had an issue, but her attitude and behavior was over the top that day and very unacceptable and I won’t be going back to that location. I really hope this review reaches out to someone. I have been trying to file a complaint on her but haven’t gotten far as she’s the manager.

They can't deside if there open or there closed says open tell 10pm but I have gone at 6pm and 7pm and get the same were closed figure out the hours guys or update it

This is a brand new Dollar General, they opened several months ago. It's super clean, has a great parking lot, and great prices of course. The store manager is very nice and the employees are all very helpful.

Dollar general was courteous and made sure i found everything. Deff 5 star. I prob apply for a job there bc they were so nice. But their western union and western union in gerneral is the worst company ive ever used. Highly recommend you never use them. They were grossly ignorant and hung up on me and still havent given my refund. Zero stars for them but dollar general for sure is a great store

From a former employee point of view(Up to date as of 4/25)•The store is a really busy store for those who work there. If you're working cashier you are constantly being told to stack shelves by management meanwhile you will see around 140 customers in a single 4-6 hour shift at your counter. (39 customers est. Per hour)•There is no backstorage so extra boxes go on the sky shelves where it can be a safety hazerd if something fell on a customer or worker•As a non-key-holder if you mess up on a register you will need a key to fix and sometimes the supervisors will be across the store and give you a attitude for asking for help and sometimes you start your drawer with LIMITED change in it such as $5s or dimes•If a supervisor finds an item not suppose to be in a isle then they will get all serious and blame the workers.CORONA•We do not have proper gloves or masks to avoid contact with the germs of the customers who walk through our store and we are being paid normal pay than hazard pay to provide services as similiar as Hannaford who pays a extra 2-3$ to their workers efforts•Customers also will walk right in with no care in the world and once you claim that there is 5 in store they will give you attitudes and families will bring them all in at once and close the store off for others for unesttensial productsPRICES COME FROM DOLLAR GENERAL NOT A STORE PREFERENCE. THE SAME PRODUCTS COST THE SAME AT OLD TOWNS DG

Usually one cashier working sometimes line is long and long wait other times have to go look for the cashier through the store because dollar gen has them do doubble duty stocking the shelves

Card reader wouldn't let me use a credit card without a pin....tried to hand back the item and the employee said that because the food we bought was on EBT I couldn't return the cash item...I stood my ground and refused to be robbed because she couldn't figure out how to do a return...Milford dollar general will no longer be getting my hard earned money...

They allow 5 people in store at a time, not really good waiting system if your not solo shopping, because if one leaves then one comes in cutting you in line if your not alone.
