I used to love going here and I still do go here to try and support my local community. I have a couple of times now gotten food that was out of date and bad. The store has recently been took over by a new owners and this is a ongoing trend.. I hate to say it.I still go here to get drinks and snacks and things of that nature but I have to watch anything else in there that might be perishable. Check the dates on items if you go there.Update. After leaving this review I was in there again today and the lady in front of me had nothing but expired yogurt after she checked the date. She went back to the yogurt section to see if there were any good ones and in fact all of them were expired. It's just nasty!!!

BEWARE: Love having a grocery store in our town but don't want to be sick because I ate their outdated food. Make sure you check EVERY food item, including yogurt, ground Turkey and anything else that you purchase.Current management is doing a terrible job of keeping the community safe. 😑 😒

I was in this store yesterday, it hasn't changed much since the early 70s. I would like to give you a little bit of advice. Stop ripping the consumers off.i personally will never set foot in that store again. Prices are so high 9plus dollars for coffee creamer . You should be ashamed of yourself ... tear it down and try anew

I only go there because they have tangelo's and they are so much sweeter than any other type of citrus you'll find at Hannaford or Walmart the only thing I wish They Carried was the clementines which are also sweet and so much better than those little kitty things that they sell at Walmart and

Love shopping here! Not to crowded freshest meat. Rewards program is awesome. Great deli selections ready to go. Fresh baked pastry section. Spice section their own brand in good sized containers. Great overall Mom & Pops variety grocery store.

3rd time this month I have gotten outdated items. 2 weeks ago showed up and the entire pre-sliced deli meats were all gray on the shelf and smelled very bad. Place has very much gone down hill.My fault for not checking dates. But your fault for not keeping up on your items

The store is ok, but when the new owners took over they ousted everyone. I feel bad for those who were loyal workers. I try to go when things are on sale otherwise they are pricey. They are convenient for those who live in the area

First of all this isn't actually the southenmost point but.....you can't get to that point because there it is off limits (military base)My wife and I grew up in Northern Maine,...so the complete opposite end of the route. So while in the Keys we figured we'd better say that we had been to the far southern end (even if it isn't the furthest point).It is ridiculous that there is a line to take a selfie by this thing. We just did a selfie out in the street with it and other people in the background. Took like 5 seconds vs. an hour.

With the new ownership prices are outlandishly high- far more expensive than the other option down the road. Very rarely does an employee act friendly in any way. We have mostly stopped shopping here.

Wonderful little market with a bit of everything. The Deli is serving up some of the Best pizza around and their Grab and go selection of pre packaged meals are great! The meats are all cut in house and super nice. The staff is friendly and very helpful! Stop by..you won't be disappointed!

Didn't much care for the runaround we got today!!! Am very much regretting having found the Italian rolls there! They had told us this 10a.m. ,it would be 4 hours ,before any were on the shelf. So went back and sat around only to be told they were out! Thanks!

Future Foods is a staple in this community. They have fresh hot food, a great deli and a wonderful selection of groceries for their size. My only quam is the prices, but I'll take spending a little extra money to keep Future Foods open and thriving. The staff is very friendly as well and I LOVE the rewards system.

Nice small quick pick, staff always friendly. Good meats 99% of the time, one bad experience last night but staff in meat department made up for it today. It was not a big deal and not big money involved but appreciate the fact the staff in the meat department cared and took care of me. Good man running that show today!

Their prices are good, their selection is always stocked (and all faced wonderfully), the selection is very diverse and always fresh, and the ABSOLUTE BEST thing at Future Foods is all of their GREAT employees that would all go above and beyond for any customer that walks through their door! Seriously, the employees here are all so amazing, friendly, caring, helpful, and all go above and beyond their job description and duties to provide extremely high quality customer service on a daily basis! They all deserve to be recognized and awarded for their dedication to their jobs, but even more for their dedication to each customer walking in those doors no matter who it is, what they look like, how they act, or ANYTHING else! Truly a group of tippy-top-notch employees they have their and they should all be proud of one another and the high quality service they all provide!!!!Thank you to all of you that work at Future Foods that provide such great customer service without fail with every visit! Small town Maine grocery store. Great sales. Check the markdown sections. Friendly cashiers and good beer and wine selection. Lots of deli and bakery items available. There's hot coffee and hot deli items like pizza made to order.

I stopped at this store for the very first time the other day, this after driving by it twice a day for 8 years. I was searching for the new Maple Milk from Oakhurst. I did find some , but not until noticing lots of items that you don't see in the big named stores. Although I did find it to be a little pricey, but well worth it for what I purchased. Whenever you're passing through Mechanic Falls stop in and take a look around.

I'm all for supporting local business, but I swear to god almost every boxed item I get at this store is stale and very cheaply made. Being that there prices are the highest of any grocery store in the area; I genunly dont see a reason to ever come here when there is a hannaford right up the road with consistent food quality and lower prices.

Their is a new Hannaford Supermarket just up the road from this place but I prefer to pay a bit more and shop here, The meat selection is the best around and all the employees are friendly and helpful. I understand today that it is no longer a IGA store they switched to a new supplier (Best Yet) to keep the prices in line, new name but same friendly faces, keep up the good work, Best Yet. ]

I love this little grocery store! The deli & bakery are excellent! I go there mostly for the Snowflake rolls and the pepperoni & cheese bread!!! Soooo good!!!
