Went here to see what they have for dogs. First thing I noticed was a cat in a very small cage outside, it’s hot today. But then peeking inside he was probably better off than the ones in there! There were four vehicles in the parking lot, we rang the bell and actually opened the door (smell was powerful) and still no one bothered to show up. Some guy noticed us just before we left in the parking lot, but when I waved to him he turned around and walked away. I feel bad for these animals. This facility could use some major help too

Great staff, a clean environment, and just ver friendly and humane to all animals that come through the door. I had to leave a Male cat there about three months ago. It was very emotional for me, but I felt better knowing all the stories and pictures that they shared with me, getting to see all the new homes the animals get. They make sure that you are good people before you can get the animals.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHELTER!!!!! I paid $150 dollars for two unneutered cats that ended up having fleas, ear mites and tapeworms. They weren’t vaccinated for rabies either. I have dished so much money on these cats trying to get them healthy. When I asked for my money back they blocked me. Awful awful awful shelter. DO NOT GO HERE.

Went to this disgusting place to check on adopting a furry friend & I was deeply appalled by the horrible smell that gripped my nose & taste buds as soon as I opened the front door. The lady who runs this terrible place was sketchy too...when I 1st got there she was out smoking a cigarette & it seemed like she didnt want me to go in until she found out I wanted to adopt. These poor animals have to live in squalor conditions & its WRONG!! Someone needs to do something!!!

Adopted my newest addition from here after my long time house rabbit passed away. Carter and I are getting along great. Someone dumped this little cutie in a garden to fend for herself, after only a couple days at home, she has mastered the litter box and snuggling in the chair. Thanks to the PVHS for making it possible!
