Pizza used to be good, but seems like with the new owners the quality has gone down. Ordered 2 small pizzas and a calzone and went to get it 50 minutes after I called, but they didn’t even start making it until I showed up to get it. Doesn’t help that the calzones are almost always undercooked.

I will not be ordering food here anymore. Not sure when things changed but the last 2 times I've ordered I waiting an extra 15 minutes and felt invisible as I sat and watched my pizza sit at the end of the belt done!The dough and toppings were so light when I was handed my pizza I thought the boxes were empty!Very sad, the food used to be exceptional!

Small town locals and you're not a local they might give you a couple of weird looks but they're pretty friendly it's in a good location prices are high but decent for a corner market

I’ve lived next to this store for about five years now and it has never been run so badly. I had to wait in a line of over ten people to check out, no one bought any huge orders. Cards got declined over and over, sounds like their machine isn’t working. Kids in the back are clueless. The poor man at the register had to step away over and over to teach them common sense things. Food orders are taking a long time now when they used to be so fast. The teens in the back were all standing around. This is not the first time this has happened, it been months of this. At least hire another cashier.

As a “Mainer” who has lived in the area for nearly my entire 40 years of life, and who has made the trip down Union Street and through Levant hundreds (probably thousands) of times, I have never had a bad experience in this store. For one, always have plenty of options for a family on the road. Two, the staff is friendly, and of course, the owners are hilarious and fun, and their frequent shenanigans are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Lastly, as for their food - again - never had a bad experience. I have yet to try one of their crazy ice cream concoctions, but they look insanely good. Do yourself a favor and pay attention to what they’re up to - you might get lucky and see Jason in his He-Man suit! 😆♥️

I personally love the pizza from this store. So does my family. The rest of the food isn’t worth the money at all! There are a few people that work there that are great and it’s usually the older staff that give good customer service. The younger employees are just plain rude! They act as though you’re putting them out and they’re annoyed because you want to order food. Or even when being cashed out by them. The younger generation definitely doesn’t know how to give good customer service and they certainly do not want to be working! They make that very clear. If the employees act like this than get them out of there and hire people that actually want the job and will treat customers with respect! After all, it’s your customers that are keeping your store alive!

This location has a little bit of almost everything you might need, if you want to save a trip to Bangor. The prices are very reasonable for the remoteness. The also have great pizza, w/ free soda. As we'll as fuel pumps. They have a very yummy 😋 selection of ice creams in a freezer, and pastries. They also have a pretty good selection of whoopie pies. I think it is quite convenient having this store so close by and it has saved me to time, along with the trip to town. Showed up at 7am hoping to save a trip in town. Waited till about 10 after and finally went to door to see what was going on and a lady told me she couldnt let me in cause her other opener was late told me to wait another 15 min maybe .....Sp much for saving a trip in town. Pizza aint bad but rest of food hasnt been appealing at all. I miss good locally owned stores. Its no wonder the chain or corporate stores are taking over. Convenient stores are getting to be less and less convenienant

Friendly service and clean store, but the bathroom was blocked off when I got there. The prices of stuff in the convenience store aren't marked, and they are a rip-off. I paid $4.38 for two sticks of string cheese and a bottled lemonade!

Great selection for a corner store. My children and I love the take an bake pizzas. Most of the staff is polite an smiling. I cannot give five stars because some of the prices, like .89¢ for a single banana, are ridiculous!

Do you know how many times this corner store has saved me from running out of gas on my way home? Yes, I’m THAT person that pushes my limit, and “I can make it a couple more days....” No, no you can’t..... The LCS is a one-stop-shop. Fuel, propane, adult beverages, they make our suppers for us, they stock milk for tomorrow mornings cereal, baking ingredients, the hamburger/hot dog buns for Saturday’s bbq that the ones in your cupboard have changed a different color. One time I randomly needed tomato paste, THEY HAD IT! The pizza? My family drives down from Houlton and ONLY requests LCS pizza! Everything you need in one place to save you the 25-30 minute trip to the heart of Bangor, it’s here. I’m so thankful for LCS and for it being so handy for us. We love the J & J crew, their friendly staff, up to date renovations, cleanliness and of course the big ole smiles on the regulars I’m so proud of this booming store!

Was looking forward to receiving these whoopies but when I opened the box it was full of ants which tells me the box sat somewhere for awhile. They were only wrapped in Saran wrap with a piece of paper around them. The box didn't have ants on the outside but when I opened the paper everything was covered in ants. Needless to say we didn't get to try them.

The staff was very rude. I have been in here many times before and always had a good experience until today.
