This is our 2nd time staying there. The 1st time we liked staying there. The bed was comfortable, it was clean and inexpensive.This time, we stayed in the queen deluxe, larger room with a full tub instead of just a stand-up shower. The bed was so UNCOMFORTABLE, and the tub drain backed up when you showered. The sm fridge had a high pitch squeal when it turned on to cool. We had to unplug it in order to sleep. When we told the woman at the desk, she said, "Sorry, we don't have 1 to replace it." Mind you, there were 5 empty rooms, and none were booked for the next few days bc of a major storm. She should have just moved 1 over. The worst part is that there is more, the room had many, many Asian lady beetles. For every 2 my husband killed, 4 more appeared. Creeped me out

We were travelling to Maine for our son's wedding and our group of 4 decided last minute to stay at the Blueberry Patch. I booked a room the day before and I was super pleased. We rented one side of their duplex cottage and it was perfect. It was affordable and super clean (which our airport hotel in Bangor was not.) The breakfast muffins were fabulous and the hosts were friendly. Too bad we could only stay 2 nights. We would definitely stay there again!

I was looking for a place to stay along Route 1 and stopped in here without a reservation. Luckily they had a room available, and I checked into Room#8. The room was on the corner with a cute little private deck overlooking the pool. The room itself had a queen bed and separate sitting area with a nice big bathroom. Every inch of the room was spotless, and the room smelled very clean - not like cleaning chemicals, like actually clean which I really appreciated. The staff member that assisted me could not have been more friendly and helpful, and the coffee and fresh baked blueberry muffins in the morning were absolutely delicious! I honestly wish I could have spent more time here instead of just passing through, but it was truly a very restful night.Food & drinks: AMAZING fresh baked blueberry muffins and fresh brewed coffee ☕️

What a wonderful experience we had here! It felt like we were coming home to our own comfy room complete with leather recliner. Our hosts Marla & Heidi were so welcoming & friendly. We so appreciated the little binder on the desk with lists of places to eat, shop, visit, & churches. Thanks for a truly wonderful experience. We'll be back!!

Great place, great price! Spur-of-the-moment ATV trip, arriving after check in cut off of 9pm. The owner Marla, set us all up to be able to get in the room and even left a light on for us. She was very friendly and accommodating! We had a basic cabin, clean bedding, clean bathroom. We didnt use the fridge, previous guests at some point had left seafood in it..smelled terrible. The micro was just fine. Location was perfect with a little ATV- access road riding we were able to hit the trail in no time. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommended!I will never forget how my wife and I over-stormed “Hurricane” Lee this fall. Freshest air of Maine and muffins, 🦌 everywhere around, and even wolves (???) howling last night 😃The most important: I do not remember where I slept as well as I did here in cabin 20.To be honest with you — it would be the best place for me if this swimming pool was hot, while it is raining or showing.My wife and I — we were home here these days. That’s all you need to know about this place.

We loved our stay at the blueberry patch cottage. Our party of 3 stayed in cabin 20. Super clean, affordable and adorable. The owners were so accommodating to us. We were attending a wedding at 3 pm, same time as check-in. They had our cabin ready hours ahead with the ac on and nice and cool. Very friendly, no complaints, except I wish we were staying there another night. I would love to stay there again.

Cabin was clean and quiet, also a good bit rustic. Took me a minute to figure out how to control the temperature of the shower. Very nice and clean. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was a little small, but I am also 6'2". Our manger was very friendly and helpful. Only about 5 miles from town, for me it made our stay more enjoyable. We slept with windows open and heard no road noise. Definitely stay there again. Oh--- almost forgot--they serve outrageous blueberry muffins for breakfast.

This place is small and sweet, a real hidden gem on Route 1. Stayed here with my mom after camping for a few days and it was perfect for unwinding. The blueberry muffins and coffee offered in the morning are delightful and so is the conversation in the main office. Didn’t try the pool or fire pit but they looked clean and cozy. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do.

we come here every single time we go down east. marla is so welcoming every single time and such a sweet soul. we've stayed at the cabins and motel and both are so well maintained and definitely very authentically decorated. this time we stayed in one of the bigger cabins with the kitchen. not only was it very well priced but all the utensils, cups bowls etc were included! super convenient and well located. we cannot wait to come back!!

Beautiful sparkling clean pool and the room was nice. The people working here are great, very helpful. The fire pit was really fun too. Overall it's a very cute and clean well-run little motel perfectly located just up the road from Rogue Bluffs State Park. We'll be back!

Very cute and clean little motel. Nice pool with fire pit. We stayed in the duplex around back #9&10. Nice and quiet. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the mattresses have seen better days.

We got accused of trashing the room, breaking the window shade/blind, and the TV not working. We were even told that there was BBQ sauce everywhere, and there just wasn't. I have stayed there numerous times and never had an issue. Check out time was at ten but their housekeeper came way before ten. Knocking on the door around 9:00-9:20. We had our Xbox hooked up to the TV, so I know that was working when we left. There wasn't BBQ sauce everywhere, and I don't know what they were talking about as far as the blinds go. I no longer recommend this hotel. I guess there's a reason it's the cheapest place in the area. If anyone does stay there, I guess it'd best/smart to take pictures before you leave the room.

Long story short we couldn't find a place to stay from Connecticut to Bangor and we found this little gem! Owner's were amazing and very helpful! Cute cabins that were exceptionally clean! Therewas a fire pit out back and a nice outdoor pool! Perfect location right off route 1. Only reason I gave it 4 stars the beds were a little lumpy and the showers were tiny for my husband to shower in. Great water pressure and hot water! (Only reason I mention this is cause I have very long hair and this is important tome when I stay anywhere ) all in alla great place to stay!Kathy and Aaron Gall

Marla and Cliff Nelson run a clean, quiet motel and cabins. Service and hospitality are amazing! Yummy blueberry muffins, yougert and coffee in the office every morning for a quick breakfast! Some cabins even have kitchens! Love this place! Close to the Machias river preserve, with great hiking trails and close to the amazing Jasper Beach!

Perfect place to stay on any adventure down Route 1. Quiet, Super clean rooms! Comfortable beds! Great muffin in the morning! Check out the great locally handmade crafts during check in! Talent is endless in Maine! The owners/operators were very nice! We'll be back in the future!

After travelling all day on the motorcycle it was such a delight to find our room so welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are delightful and homey and very clean! My only complaint was that the advertisement didn't do justice to how nice the rooms are. I am already looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed here for work last May for 10 nights. Very nice place. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Also they make fresh blueberry muffins in the morning. I hope our work brings us in the area again this year!

This is our second stay here. It is very clean and quiet. The owners are quite friendly. The pool was a welcome feature on a hot July day and our room included a small deck overlooking the pool that we took advantage of as the shade reached it.

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly owners who go out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Reasonable rates and good coffee and blueberry muffins in the morning. WIll definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it!
