We sell our organic aged apple cider vinegar here and love going and picking up food and natural cleaning supplies and shampoos. The store is always super clean and tidy and well-stocked. The people are super nice.

Very nice store lots of great products was really surprised bye the selections picked up some sliced Italian meat and cheese and also a nice hot cup of the homemade simple soup delicious 😋 all for 24$ definitely worth it I would add Royal River Natural Foods to a must stop while in the Freeport area 😊👍

My first visit here after driving by many times. If you are into natural or organic food and supplements this store is for you. It's hard to think of a product category they do not cover! There were several shoppers early today so I imagine it's a popular place with lunch options too.

This little store is tiny but mighty. The limited square footage is laid out in a thoughtful array of fresh produce, ready made dishes, wellness items, bulk items, frozen foods, and more. They offer a membership that gives you discounts for purchases, I have one and I love it.

I really love this place. Great selections of produce, wellness, bulk, and more!!! I especially want to remark on how the prepared foods section keep upping their game. Today I got a veggie burrito which I have done several times in the past. I haven't particularly loved them before but they were satiating in that they filled me up and weren't terrible. Today was a different story! I don't remember these having spanish rice in them before but today I was blown away by the flavors. Not only that but the burrito was really thick, like twice the size of all the others I've had in the past for the same price. I don't know who decided on these changes, but two thumbs up, friends!! As a chef, who has managed Delis/Prepared Foods Departments in grocery stores I am really liking what's going on here. Keep up the great work!!!Thanks to the entire Royal River team for always providing a very pleasant experience! 5 STARS!!!

Superior product selection with variation from bulk, fresh to go items, groceries and a large gluten free section. The employees are helpful and can direct you to products or help explain the differences. The building is gorgeous and its a community market so the people are friendly.

Great store in a gorgeous building. Seriously, the building alone is worth a visit. Has a large selection of vitamins and food, and also a cafe-type setup where there's ready made food's to buy and seating so you can enjoy them right there! Staff is all very nice and helpful, and it's just overall a great experience. Highly recommend

Great, well equipped natural food store. Even carrying hard to find items like raw cow and goat milk. Prices are sometimes slightly on the high side but that's to be expected in Freeport, and they aren't unreasonable. Plenty of parking and a large easy to spot sign make this an easy stop for tourists and locals alike. Royal River has a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I shop here weekly and would recommend it to anyone.

I love Royal River. They have a really large selection of organic local items from dairy to meats and cheeses, produce, snacks, beverages etc. Everything is always fresh and beautiful and inviting. The employees are always present and ready to help you find anything. They have great selection of prepared foods and a little cafe area to eat and visit. They have a rewards program so I get a discount each time I shop. I'm trying to eat only organic whenever possible and they make it pretty possible for about anything I need and/or want. I highly recommend a visit to see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I love the care this store puts into selecting all of their products. There is a serious commitment to organic and local and it shows. The lunch menu is amazing too! I find myself craving the chicken korma and the Thai lentil soup on a regular basis.

Went to this place while on vacation and was blown away. We don't have a lot of these stores here in Connecticut. Had some organic sausage which were super good and the Fox Family BBQ chips are the best chips in the world ( with maybe Cape Cod chips being the exception) If I lived in ME, this would be a weekly stop for me. All the fresh meat one desires is here, plus other things as well.

Cute health food store with lots of choices and good prices. The staff are friendly and there is a varied selection especially considering that the store isn't very big. They also have a nice bulk foods section which is really great.

Natural food stores are always going to be on the pricey side, but they have a fabulous selection of hard to find items, which seems only these store carry.Unless you shop online.Friendly staff, clean store, clean restrooms. Plus they have a little dine-in area that's super cute as well.

So many amazing items to get. I personally come here for the spirutein protein drinks. I can't find the flavors anywhere else and it's cheaper than online, so kudos there. Plus, they have an awesome keto selection that my wife loves

Genuinely blown away by the selection, layout, prices and thoughtfulness of this store. I don't know how I missed them for so long, but I'm a new devotee. If only they'd open a market in Falmouth! They'd be filling a HUGE community market niche that hasn't been met. Hint hint :)

Always a treat to shop here. Their produce is so fresh & tempting—puts Whole Foods produce to shame! Love the vegan selections... please bring back the vegan BLT sandwich in the to-go section, I missed it today :)

This is a fantastic store in an unlikely place. My family and I really loved the variety and some of the odd things available here. I recommend anyone who hasn't been to this type of store to please stop in and give it a shot.

I love this store! They carry many products that I've ordered online for a while, so all I have to do is drive to the store and pick it up instead of worrying about paying shopping costs and waiting for the product to deliver. Great product, great store, can't go wrong! 😊

Best place for organic items AND foods locally. So glad I don't have to take a 30 minute drive every time I run out of something, and down to Whole Foods. Also a great place to get homemade Miso soup!
