An amazing place for a cold, yummy treat! They have vegan and non-vegan options. I always get the vegan twist icecream soft serve with a waffle cone and it’s delicious. My boyfriend gets the sundae which consists of a brownie, whipped cream, hard serve ice cream, and he adds Oreo bits. Excellent service and amazing ice cream! This is my all time favorite find for vegan ice cream! Just be careful with the vegan sprinkles. They have little ball sprinkles that are extremely hard to chew. That’s the only thing that I could think of that they could possibly change up.

Our party had a soft serve, milkshake, and a sundae; All were excellent! My berry milkshake was velvety smooth and the taste of blueberries were divine!! Excellent fast service with a smile!

Not very impressed - the flavor of the day was listed on the roadside sign, however when we reached the front of the line the sign said "out of soft serve." Ok... so I asked for a hard custard strawberry with fudge in a kiddie size, which I was told only soft serve comes in Kiddie size - I said "well you are out of soft serve." Then the person working there said, "actually we have some soft serve from last night.".... what?Anyways I ordered the hard custard in a small because I didn't want last night's ice cream, and only after I ordered did I realize the hard custard costs nearly DOUBLE the price of the soft serve custard. I don't get it.The custard itself was ok - Culver's in Wisconsin is much better. I wouldn't come back here due to the inconsistent communication to what is available, the inconsistency in pricing, and the lack of custard consistency to the hard custard.

This place is AMAZING. I went yesterday for their "Christmas in July" and got the Pumpkin Crisp Custard in a brownie sundae and it was one of the best desserts i've ever had. I have also gone multiple times to have their vegan ice cream and I love how light it is in my stomach, yet still just as tasty as normal ice cream!

What a great little spot!The frozen custard was really good. If you're curious, you can ask for a sample. Sort of tastes like those frozen fudge pops everyone used to sell. My 8 year old wasn't sold on it (he got flavor injected soft serve ice cream), but my 13 year old and I enjoyed the custard.

Amazing place with kind people. I can here on a sunny day , and it was the perfect treat. Each scoop is the size of a softball, so to be able to get two scoops of frozen custard in a waffle bowl for only $7 was the best treat I could ask for. I got the coffee and vanilla flavors, and my friend got the strawberry and vanilla flavors in a cake cone. There was a chocolate flavor as well that we didn't try , and we also didn't try the flavor of the day, chocolate M&M, even though it sounded amazing. All of the flavors we ordered were amazing, and even though it was only my first time there, I am already planning trips to go back.I didn't get to try the vegan ice cream or the sundaes , but those will definitely be had in the future. The frozen custard is the same price as the vegan ice cream, and the prices are more than reasonable. Can't recommend enough!

If you’re an uncultured tourist like myself who doesn’t know what custard is.. it’s ice cream but wayyyy better. Awesome staff too! Got the soft serve twist with rainbow sprinkles and don’t think I’ve been so impressed by a frozen treat since childhood. This place is a must stop!

Excellent local custard shop! They serve vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry everyday, but also have a daily special which you can see on their website. Past that the portion size was great and the service fantastic - I can’t wait to go back!

A must stop when in Freeport! Delicious treats with awesome flavors and friendly staff. They even have great vegan options! Featured here the vegan ice cream flavor of the day: cookies and cream and vanilla custard with peanut butter cup toppings in a waffle bowl. All delicious!

Got the eggnog hard serve. It was more orange than I'd expected but it tasted so good. Service was fast. Even as they had a huge line as the day was bright, sunny, and hot, it moved quickly. Service was excellent, the ice creams were excellent. Greeted us with a smile. I'll be back here for sure.

Delicious soft serve and dip. Original recipes. They have vegan options. The "pup cups" are amazing. Hard frozen (think keeps your pup busy and focused for a longer period than most treats) natural treats ingredients ( my pup had pumpkin, coconut milk and banana ice cream).

Stopped by on route 1 driving from Freeport shopping. Never noticed this place before. Now we will always stop when we are in the area. Both custards (frozen and soft serve) were the best custards we have ever eaten. We have tried many stores in Florida and New York. This is the first custard store that had a sign explaining the difference between ice cream and frozen custard. Lauren was very hospitable. Thank you to the owners.

Absolutely delicious vegan and gluten-free choices!!! I can't wait to get to Freeport again. I may even make a special trip!Also, I ordered some veggie life products online and was able to pick them up in person at this location. It was super convenient, and the vegan gluten-free quinoa veggie burgers are outstanding. Definitely recommend stopping by!

So only soft serve. Just a few flavors only twist available was vanilla and chocolate ice cream. No twists on the custard side. Good quality and fast service. No table service.

The custard is so delicious … the soft serve has an amazingly velvety texture. More importantly, their vegan options are the best I’ve ever seen for an ice cream shop. The vegan ice cream is yum and the vegan soft serve is incredibly tasty.

Really good custard which is a little more rich than ice cream. Prices were a little high but it's the Maine coast which is typical. Good size for the cost at least. There was a steady line while we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of parking and some picnic tables as well.

Custard is what you'd imagine it to be: rich, creamy, velvety smooth and melts pleasantly quick on your tongue. This place really does a perfect job. The maple flavor custard on special when I went was very much like the soft serve maple creamies of Vermont. Only on another level. A nice, thin and crispy waffle bowl was both aromatic and well balanced, making for a welcome "second dessert" once I scraped it clean of custard. Nice portions, fairly priced (I've paid much, much more in Portland) and friendly staff. Well done!

Wasn't as "incredibly delicious," as we recall from a few years back. Flavor of the Day as "French vanilla", (that's not a standard flavor?), and choices of flavors seemed limited. Just didn't "zing" the way it has in the past. Something's different.

Mainely fantastic, you don't find frozen custard like this very often. Sizes are very generous. My first time I ordered a medium and it was huge. After that I went with a small and it was still plenty to make me very happy.

Holy moly, order a."less than one scoop" two scoops and its a half gallon!! Wow. Great flavor tho. I ordered the coffee..fantastic, just toooo big!
