I really enjoyed my visit to Maine Beer Co. I will definitely come back next time I'm in this part of the country. The beers were excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. While I did not have pizza while I was there, that have a good menu as well. The patio is dog friendly.

Literally LOVE everything about this place! The drinks, the food, the people, the environment, their motto, their gift shop - EVERYTHING. They're great to the environment, their employees, their customers - I just couldn't get over how wonderful it was and how nice everyone was. Every business should run this way! Definitely will be returning and often to support them!

Excellent place to eat, drink and be merry. The beer was great; my party had one four-beer flight and one full beer and all were enjoyable. They serve wine and a variety of Maine sodas as well as offer free water stations. We only had a soft pretzel, which was delicious, and several parties around us had pizzas that looked really good.The place was clean and well maintained. The first floor had bigger tables to accommodate larger groups. It was spacious and the right level of loud to bring kids in.A huge bonus is their sustainability and climate-oriented approach. They have clearly marked compost and recycling bins alongside the trash. They also do not accept tips for the staff but you can donate your tip amount to the environmental non-profits.

I truly fell in love with this brewery. I've been to a couple of them and this one has been the most unique one by far. The pizza is exquisite, but we can't forget about the beer - balanced to perfection. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and there's awesome merch as well!

This place was recommended by a fellow brewery guest at another brewery and this did not disappoint! The ambiance of this brewery was like none we’ve ever experienced on the West Coast. Visiting this place just for the vibe alone is worth it. The food took quite a while to arrive from the moment we ordered (approx 30 min for 1 pizza) but it was really good! We had the pork and apple pizza which was unique for us but well balanced. The beer was good but not the best we’ve ever had. However, I’d still recommend this place for visitors to the area who enjoy beer. I’d also suggest eating on the second floor!

I’ve been eating here for a while and the pizza is always crazy good, the salads slap, and the beer is probably the best in Maine. Anyway, they had this mortadella sandwhich on the menu today and they knocked it out of the park. The perfect mix between spicy and savoy. They use a pizza dough for the bread too 🤯. Just when I thought this brewery couldn’t get any better, they deliver again!Here’s a pic of what’s left after I ate the first HALF:

Had lunch (the pizza) and Dinner (the DIPA) and was 100 percent satisfied with both. The pizza and cheesy bread (more like a cheese pizza) are so delicious. The beer is fresh, tasty, and top notch.

This is our favorite place to go on our annual New Years Eve/Christmas trip to Maine Beer then a stop off at LLBean. We drive up each year just to visit!The quality of food and beer is always the same! No shortcuts are ever taken. Maine root sodas for non-alcoholic options. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. Pizza sauce is to die for. Open fire pizza. Charcuterie is expensive but worth it. Best and favorite beer!Unfortunately, this year we noticed a very disgruntled staff. Hostess, was clearly annoyed when we asked for a specific table. Without speaking to us, she begrudgingly walked us over to the requested table. Didn’t offer our child crayons which were clearly available. The other staff were quite similar. I ordered two different 5oz pours, clearly asking for Lunch and Little whale boat. The female server was quite annoyed repeating what I said several times, as if I was unclear what I said? No smiles from nearly anyone. Lots of sass.I don’t blame the staff for this. I think the company needs to reevaluate. Year after year, I’ve never seen the same staff. For a company that boasts being so wonderful, there should be better retention. The owner(s) should take a deep look into their staff’s happiness and well-being.

Maine Beer has been on my list for a long time. If the opportunity comes up, it is totally worth your time to visit. Beautiful building, friendly staff, solid pours, good pizza, and great vibe inside. I'd rate the experience a 11/10 if I could, and hope to be back in the future. Enjoyed rare beers with my wife, margherita pizza, and fresh shucked oysters (on Wednesdays) with blueberry mignonette. Friendly servers who helped me pick out a case to go. Great job team, solid work!

During the summer of 2014 we made our first of many visits to Maine Beer Company. They had a small pizza oven in the front of their parking lot. Picnic tables were placed between it and the brewery. A small retail operation was located in their brewery. Peeper and their award winning Lunch were most popular. While “Doing what’s right”, and maintaining their values, the Maine Beer Company has expanded and grown into a premier brewery with a variety of excellent beers and knowledgeable employees. It’s a must visit for everyone.

A spot we had marked to visit for some time and Maine Beer Company did not disappoint. Really cool building with both indoor, outdoor, and outdoor covered seating. Dogs welcome in the outdoor and outdoor covered areas which was great! They even have dog bowls available for your 4 legged friend. Food was great, selections from salads, light brewery style apps, and pizzas. Recommend the new corn and chorizo pizza - 10/10. Beer is fantastic - not the cheapest beer but certainly for the beer aficionado that appreciates a good locally made beer. Will return. Reservations recommended!!Side note - we visited towing a 35’ fifth wheel camper. Across from the brewery there is a park and ride where we were able to park and walk across the street. Do not recommend pulling into the brewery with a trailer.

Decided to try out Maine Beer Company while in the area shopping and on the way to a few other breweries. The space inside was beautiful with tons of seating and food available on site as well.In terms of beer, everything we tried was of course top notch, however I will say the variety could be improved. If you love IPAs and other similar brews, you'll love the options available. I will also say that if you're expecting a conventional brewery vibe, you will be surprised. The atmosphere was much closer to an airy upscale restaurant.Fun time overall, likely wouldn't make a specific trip to visit again.

We visited this location in October 2021: This place is the bomb folks. The atmosphere is wonderful. Great location and the mission statement clearly shown in areas of the building. I also enjoyed the geekiness of their employees (noticed my Chrono Trigger mask at the time).The food was tasty and not just re-heated.Very creative beers, full of flavor. If we get out this way again, would easily go out of our way to drop by.

Stopped in right at 11 on a Friday. It was amazing how quickly the place filled up.The service was great. The beers were good. We enjoyed sharing two flights of mostly IPAs. The flight board was well designed.The cheese and charcuterie board were decent with two meats and cheeses. The fire margarita pizza was great.If there were negatives, the inside seating was cold. It is worthy of a bring another layer warning.

This brewer is absolutely immaculate. The atmosphere is so clean and refreshing with wonderful views, artwork, and plenty of space to explore. Their eccentric pizzas on the menu are an absolute must. Don't be afraid to deviate from your traditional pizza, they are absolutely worth it. The beers are very clean and well done. And the staff are all super helpful and friendly.

Amazing atmosphere, great service and incredible beer! From the beer to the merch and the food menu, there's something here for everyone. For quick food, try the hot olives, cheese flatbread, and pretzel with beer mustard. The go-to IPAs are obviously Lunch, Dinner (if available - can't miss), and Woods & Waters. Try the Black Barn Oatmeal Stout for a delicious non-hoppy dark beer. Bring your kids and/or dog for a day out with the entire family and make sure to grab merch and beer to go.

Large, cavernous space with lots of seating inside and lesser outside. A large artsy fountain (mettalic tree-bush?) completes the shopping mall food court vibe. They have a unique system here, you have to be seated by the host and they note your table number on the menu they give you.Its self-serve counter service to order beer, food and if you want food you need to know your table number so they can bring it to you. Beer selections were adequate and the pizzas are tasty although pricey. A $12 12" cheese clocks in at 15+ somehow? If you just want a more chill beer session there is a first-come area in the upper, outside tent.

Iconic. Absolutely worth going out of your way or making a special trip. The beers are SO CAREFULLY and lovingly made. I had a Pilsner that was bright, light and full of flavor with a the most crisp and clean finish. The pizza was delightful — crispy crust, well-made marinara, just-melted (and not gummy!) mozzarella, topped with fruity olive oil. Kid and dog friendly, and just PLEASANT. Make a reservation if you’re coming during the busy season.

I've enjoyed your beers in Ohio for years, so it was special to celebrate my birthday there when we were on vacation! The place is more extensive than I realized. I knew the beer was good, but we would come there for the pizza alone if local. It was quite good! Good selection of merchandise, and very easy to get bottles to go. Thanks for a memorable birthday!

Came with the family and we sat outside. Outside did not have service, but you can go in and order your food and they will bring it out to you. The place was very clean and open. The pizza was decent. I had two beers and it was decent. Their beer is in their local grocery stores if you are interested.

Loved it. Truly the fanciest brewery I’ve ever been to. It felt like a coffee shop in New York, in a good way. Had a flight of beer and I’m not much of a beer drinker but everything was good. Really liked Lunch. And then had the buffalo cauliflower pizza. So tasty. No notes.

A bit of a hike outside of Portland , but we’ll worth the drive just to see one of the most stunning brewery taproom / restaurant you’ll visit on the east coast. However, for how large this operation is and for isolated local… I was expecting more options on the tap list (about six unique beers were available). Dress is casual to weekend formal.

Great pizza and salad. The beer is awesome too. The spicy pecans are not a good fit in my opinion. It made the beer not taste as good. We couldn't even finish an 8 flight between us because of them. The service and atmosphere is fantastic.

The building is so cool. Nice decor in and out. The beer is great. The food is good but the menu is limited. They could use more food options and our visit would be perfect.Try the sweet corn jalapeno pizza. That was a surprise winner.

Our first stop after arriving in Maine for the fourth of July week. Excellent patio area. Lots of seating options inside. Numerous beer choices. Staff was helpful with everything. Gluten free pizza crust was really good. Decent parking but we were there in the middle of the week.
