One of the nicest Reny's in Maine! Well laid out. There is plenty of room to shop. Always find great clearance priced clothing, and I buy it when I find it...or I end up making a trip back the next day. Awesome home goods section upstairs. My backyard birds are well fed due to the great selection of feeders and feed! I could visit this store weekly and not be bored!

We hadn't been here for several months but our shopping here is fun since we don't know what items are offered. I suspect if we came more frequently, we would know. However,s since we don't live in this area, that isn't possible. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised to see the large number of gluten free items available. The holiday items are also appealing. As usual in stores like this, one has to monitor the prices of individual products, but overall they are lower than many other stores. I recommend shopping here, especially for the good prices and products in the gluten free section.

I love Reny's. This is a small department store chain and it is pure Maine. They have a bit of everything that you need to live in Maine. Prices are fair and the staff is always helpful. We are blessed to have two locations near us in Dexter and Pittsfield. This is the go to place for these transplanted Texans.

I love Reny's. They have a great selection in all of the departments I shop in and can always find what i am looking for. I was surprised to find quilt batting there! This keeps me from having to go elsewhere. Their kitchen tools area is surprisingly extensive. Give them a try, they probably have what you are looking for.

First time shopping here. Customer service was great but prices seemed a little high for that kind of store. Reminded me of a Walmart, a Dollar Tree, and a yard sale all mashed together with slightly higher prices. I wouldn't say there was anything in particular there that I couldn't get at the other stores I just mentioned for the same price or less. They did have a nice size section of men's clothes though....but they also seemed a bit expensive. Not saying I wouldn't ever go back, but not sure I'd make a special trip to shop there again.

I've always enjoyed going to Reny's , but this one, not so much . It's all about ATMOSPHERE as far as I'm concerned and each time I've been here , the cashier ladies are NOT very friendly . This time there was a heated conversation between two - three people there about an item being priced wrong, and for customers to have to hear workers argue is NOT at all setting up a nice shopping experience for their customers, especially whenMy fiance even tried to Crack a joke with one of the women who took his money , and she couldn't even be bothered to be sival, no eye contact , smile or anything , but just took his money as she kept inspecting it . My fiance said jokingly, " I made that fresh this morning ! " , with a laugh , but she looked less than impressed about something, and continued to check us out . When you treat your customers like a ' NUMBER' , you're the ones loosing .I know FULL WELL the stresses that come with working , especially with the public, but if you can't be professional enough to be cordial with engaging to simply SMILE , than obviously you're in the wrong line of work .

My family and I found this store by accident back in October 2020 while visiting Sebec for the week. Everyone in the store was very helpful if and when needed. Yes they had a strict mask policy in place,but since we were traveling from South Carolina that wasn't of any concern to us and we complied without question. This place was a great experience for everyone in our group and we purchased several unique items that day. We also returned twice more during our stay just to browse and we always felt welcomed. This year we came back up for 2 weeks in June on Schoodic lake and of course everyone wanted to go back to Renys. This isn't Walmart,but they do have a reasonable amount of just about anything you can imagine and are not overly crowded anytime we have went. These Southerners truly appreciate what Renys has to offer and look forward to returning every time we are in the area!!

Great place to shop for mostly anything from puzzles to clothes or hunting and camping equipment. Tons of board games. We bought some cute tops for a good price. You can find just about anything you need at Reny's!

I've always liked the variety of goods at Reny's. Having lived out of state the past 4 years, I was excited to move back home and stopped in Reny's for a particular household good. I was very short on time and must have looked a little harried, as an employee asked me if I needed help. I did, I told her what I needed, and she took off like a rocket. Less than 5 minutes later I was checked out and on my way.

This store is a Gem in the state of Maine. They have so many things to offer. They sell good quality clothing and shoes at reasonable prices. There's a little of everything...some being unique. A must visit kind of store

They have a great selection of spices and foods, but their prices are steep on clothing. It used to be a place where you could buy deeply discounted items but now they have name brand items that are only slightly below retail. Very disappointed in the prices and lack of variety. It's a different store now.

Easy to get lost in the variety you find there. Many good deals and friendly staff. If you are visiting from out of state it's a great place to get Maine items to take home or for gifts. For locals it has all the basic needs from clothing to cleaners, Holliday decorations to health items.

During the beginning of the Pandemic! I saw them refuse to serve an elderly & fragile woman because she was unable to wear a mask! She begged them to let her shop, yet they treated her like a common criminal! I will never return as a loyal customer again! Shame on Renys in Dexter!!

A Maine experience! It's the way shipping was when I was growing up. This was the store we had in every Town. If you needed it, they had it. If they didn't, by gummy, they would get it for you. We love Reny's!
