Nothing wrong with the store, it's a regular grocery store. I think whoever designs the layouts for Hannaford didn't do a good job 🤦🏻‍♀️ but that's most of them not just this one. Fruits and veggies are usually so-so at this location.

The meat department consistently pretends not to see you waiting. Regardless of who is behind it. Today I set a record wait time of 8 minutes. This is after I made eye contact with an employee twice, yet he looked away as soon as he realized I was looking right at him. This is a reoccurring situation for the past few years. It's getting old.Eventually the manager came out of the access door and just stared at me. No "hello" or "hi", just a stern "do you need something"If the Biddeford location can't find people that want to do their job then just shut down the meat case. There's no point if you really don't want to provide the service. Shutting it down would look a lot better than insulting every customer that just wants to purchase product.

Decade of good will flushed down the drain when you sell a phone cable x2 it's actual price. You arn't a gas station; I shouldn't have to pay ABOVE gas station prices.

I like the place. I would go to market basket but they don't have self checkout I really like this option. But the prices aren't bad here but Walmart and market basket have better prices. But the service here is excellent and good quality selection of meat.

This store seems like it's in transition of a remodel. Floors are ripped up and filled in with polyurethane in several places, a lot of blue tape on the floor marking where structures should be. Still they managed to keep the store clean and easy to navigate. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done.

They were 2 minutes from our door which was very convenient if you need to run out and grab something. They had everything we needed from a grocery store and a package store. The only thing they didn’t have was ice.

Hannaford is always a nice experience. The produce is always fresh, the flowers/plants are always watered. Ask a question to any employee and they will help you to the best of their ability! There is plenty of acces room for handicapped. There's is also a large selection of beauty, health, house, cards and magazines, pencils pens ect. There is prepared meals for people on the move. Fresh seafood counter, and meats and cheese are plenty, with employees ready to help serve you. Bakery with cakes, and little treats for you if you have a sweet tooth; And a pharmacy. Coinstar, western union, atm, and bathrooms are also available. There were baby plants of ones that are usually expensive and large, they were very cheap, and very healthy. I picked up 2 of the plants in the picture below, and a baby Lily, for under $20! Both of these plants live for years

I go here if something i can't find elsewhere. In past had issues getting meat here. Spending 15-25 on one pack of steak the quality should be there. But on cpl occasions it turned grey within a day.And I've seen them sell meat that's changing color at a discount. Food poisoning waiting to happen.

My usual store is the Hannaford in Saco but I have been going to Biddeford due to the tourists and the over crowding. The store is nice good selection. It has taken a bit to get use to product placement, rows seem a little weird but I'm getting use to them. Staff is always friendly!

I can't rank this establishment high enough, we ordered a cake from here for my son's ninth birthday (fairly last minute might I add) and it was perfect. We were picking it up and asked about a cake topper, and instead of pointing us in the direction of one, they asked what we wanted on the cake AND they decorated it in an AWESOME Minecraft theme while we shopped. Overall, the store is friendly, clean, well stocked and everything is great here. You are given the customer experience you would expect from a small local store with all the benefits of a larger chain. Hannaford in Biddeford does it right!

Whenever I need something and I look there for it they never have what I'm looking for and lots of empty shelves and underpaid workers and they struggle too find workers. And the employees there act like they hate there jobs. I stopped shopping here cause of all that. And it's over priced . A tube of oral gel should not be 8 dollars .

I do my recycling here and enjoy some of the rarer things I don't see in other places. Like "Pineberry white strawberries" that have a nice pineapple flavor up front and then finishes as a strawberry.

My go to place for vegan food (I'm vegan, ny boyfriend isn't). They have an awesome selection. Produce is normally very good. They are redoing the floors or something right now so the store is a bit hectic and tough to find things (they're moving everything around) but that will end eventually. I also love self checkout, Ive never had an issue with there's and I look up a lot of fruit and veggies!

My first time in this particular Hannaford.I was able to find what I needed easy enough, even managed to find some things I haven't seen elsewhere. The deli staff was friendly and helpful.I like the prices and store layout of market basket better but they were closed. I'm happy I went into this store either way and I'm sure I will return. Pretty much the same. Out of Clynk bags again!

Good quality foods with a great selection but definitely overpriced. About 50/50 on overall friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness is par for the course.Update 02/08/23: Decreased to three stars from four because they never have the items I need in stock. I am aware there are shortages of various items on a national level but I can generally find 90% of the things I want at other stores and it's about 85% at Hannaford.

I personally don't like Hannaford very much. It's overpriced and deeply unremarkable with little in the way of customer service or unusual stock.However, they're very conveniently located downtown.

We are from PA and this store was much nicer than our grocery stores. Clean wide aisles - shelves stocked . Great bakery dept. Love that they don't use plastic bags - PA needs to start doing that.

So here is Bennie in his pouch and ready to come to the store with me. So I brought him to the store ( Hannaford in Biddeford) and I placed them in the cart as I always have, and I did my shopping as I always do, and have done for the last several years. Today I went to Hannaford with Bennie in his pouch with only his head being visible, and did my usual pick up a few things. Apparently there were some big wig corporate people in the store today, and I was approached by someone ( possibly manager ? ) and he told me that I could not place my dog in the cart. “ as I always have “ since forever.Needless to say I tried to explain to him that I have been doing this all along for years, and it was never an issue. He did not want to hear it, and walked away. I was so annoyed, I cashed out ( I should have just walked out ). In my travels to this store, I have seen many many people place their pets in the child seat of the cart, and have never heard of any issues. Needless to say, I will no longer be shopping at that store. Oh and BTW my pup is ESA certified!!!

This is my regular place for groceries. Their prices are average. It's very convenient for me too cuz I live just a block or two away. The food is good, and fresh. It's a nice store. The employees have all been nice. Anytime I needed anything I got positive vibes from every employee I've asked so far. One time, I accidentally left all my rings on the bathroom sink, I toke them off to wash my hands. Forgot them for over a full 10 mins or so. I went back.. They were right where I left them. That says a lot about the people who shop there. They are good people.
