Wow! This is a pretty incredible store. I found some amazing discounted prices on most items. Pretty eclectic group of items from large area floor rugs to groceries. It will be hard to leave this store empty-handed. The aisles are clean, and the shelves are uncluttered. Very impressed with this store.

So much to look at and the prices are decent if you know what to look for. I got an iron trellis for under ten dollars, as compared to thirty elsewhere. Lots of clothing, garden supplies, food and more.

It was my first visit there. We went for coffee and snacks. One aisle, on both sides, had coffee and more coffee, and tea. Had fun looking around, a lot of items. Open aisles, friendly staff, and plenty of staff.I’ll go regularly after Holidays are over.Impressed, 5 star discount store.

Big display of batteries at front of store. Description matched.First issue is customer service? 1 out of 5. Rude, unhelpful, zero interest in helping or escalation. Shorter petite lady with brown hair working the register that does returns. She didn't even want to check the sign 30 feet away. Refused to match price.Returns at a register is a totally separate issue. Why on earth, would you shut down 50% of your registers when you have 10 people in line? Not a manager to be seen covering anywhere. Zero staff. No help anywhere.The prices are 4 out of 5 stars but saving 10 bucks isn't worth a 20 min checkout line or a complete lack of help. Was just there 20 min ago.

I can find items there that I need, from housewares, food, pool supplies, and items too numerous to mention. The workers are wonderful, courteous and helpful. I need to mention Brian who was so helpful in getting help with my insider account. The person I talked to on the phone was also patient, helpful and kind. You really need to check out this store. And the 'crazy deals'? Wow.

Three stars for now. Just took the plastic off a new kayak, and it is missing the right side footrest, as well as a scratch on the side. Hopefully, when I take it back tomorrow, they will have one in stock with all the parts and not damaged.

This is one of the gems not well known. You can find very rare items here from pool supplies to snacks and gardening tools. Prices are reasonable and most of the time the best you can find.

I love the food section at this place and prices are really good. The staff is fairly unenthused and acts like they're doing you a favor. I also ran into the issue of Staff carrying on conversations between themselves instead of servicing the customer. It's the products they carry that keep me coming back.

Good Afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit your Bangor store while I was on vacation. I was looking for unique items for my Childcare center in Massachusetts. I reached out to your assistant manager Chrissy and she was wonderful. Her knowledge of your store was impeccable. I was looking for something specific and you didn't carry it however, she engaged me into something else to buy that made the same impression of what I was looking to do in my Childcare program. Being a Business owner for 30 years and during these precedent time and having employees of my own, we all are face with the same concerns of finding good help. Love it here, such a weird and delightful variety of products. From general foodstuffs to seasonings to... kayaks, yes kayaks! Supplies for hobbies and crafts, rugs for your room decor, think Mardens but without the creepy overtones! Do yourself a favor and stop in their prices don't disappoint

The manager, or young woman who loaded our truck was GREAT. 2,400 pounds of pavillions buried in the back and she got them out for us. Turned a previous rating of 2 based upon late delivery into a positive experience. She deserves recognition from someone other than me!

Ocean State Job Lot is an unusual place to shop. Mixed in with unknown knock-off discount brands are well-known brands, especially foods, which are hard to find in big chain supermarkets. Worth exploring.

Today i purchased 2 large patio chairs from Ocean State in Bangor. They were too heavy for me to get into the cart and into my car. One of the store associates helped me with this and other items i had bought. He was very kind, friendly and helpful. I did not get his name but an excellent ambassador for the company

I hate to even give a one star . I was in their store to night went to cash out and cashier says to me no no no I told the lady in the other lane to come here I was already standing at the line and would of had no problem with letting her go cause lady's before gentlemen but it was the rudeness so I will never shop at that store again I visit that store a couple times a month but no more and I would advise everyone to think twice about going in to a place where your not valued as a customer oh I also put the stuff i was going to purchase back and went to Hannaford they were very pleasant
