I've bought a few cars at car dealerships but never once have I had the experience that I had at Charlie's. Andy made the process so easy. I told him our basic requirements (needed monthly payments, 3rd row, etc.) and he brought us out my dream car, something I didn't think obtainable (and certainly didn't mention what kind of car I actually wanted). But it was! We were trading in a vehicle that held sentimental value, too. I was struggling with leaving it and he was able to help me get a long standing sticker off for me to hold onto. The act of kindness was so necessary within that moment. We had filled out the credit application online a few days prior to going to the dealership, which I believe helped the process go even smoother. In and out with our 2020 Subaru Ascent vehicle in less than 3 hours! So thankful for Andy, Isaac and the rest of the team over at Charlies!! Thank you guys :)

Was notified my three stars was waiting for me for my car. This is an excellent place to buy a car. I recently moved out of state but would definitely just go back there to buy a new one. Never did get my free car wash but buying a car here has its advantages.

I just bought a 2021 Nissan Rogue last-night from Devin Duncan! He was absolutely amazing! He knew just what I was looking for and what I needed! Best guy I’ve ever bought a vehicle from, he was so helpful! He went above and beyond to help us! He also was so patient and went over all the buttons on the inside with me.. which I needed a lot of help! It was about 7:00p.m and I hadn’t eaten all day and was starving. I was filling up on popcorn while I waited. Next thing I know He's bringing me out an amazing plate of spaghetti and meatballs and Parmesan cheese! He shared his supper with me!! What an amazing guy! Definitely ask for Devin Duncan if your looking to buy are car! He will take wonderful care of you!! Thank you Devin!!! I love my Nissan Rogue!!

Every person I spoke to at Nissan, Cody, John, Jed, Isaac and others were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I was never pushed into anything I did not want and every person helped me to get what I wanted. Very personalized service. Isaac and Cody were outstanding. Isaac explained everything to me and understood my wishes. Cody spent time teaching me what I needed to learn and was very encouraging. I liked that I signed papers in a quiet private place where I was free of distractions. Charlie's is a much better experience than I have had at other car dealerships in Maine.

My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from Charlie's Subaru. Everyone sraff person spoke highly of working there and was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Worked with Edgar and Joe to find the right vehicle that met our needs and payment plan. Introduced to service department and follow up appointment made to come back with any questions we may have regarding the vehicle after driving, which we appreciate since our new vehicle has many safety features we have never had before. Thank you to everyone at Charlie's Subaru for making our dreaded car buying experience a pleasant experience.

They were good a getting the sales process done. The vehicle upon being picked up had one key , they said they would get a second key out. they followed up twice asking about the vehicle which they were told it’s good so far and then asked about the second key. No follow up and I had to call back about a week later and still no key. They made excuses and then said the car may be needed to make a new key , which means they lost the original second key. So I have to go out of my way to get a second key for my mom who likes the car and is 83 years old. I will say I would make sure you have everything before you leave with a new car. The car seems nice and it just makes me concerned about their after the sales service. My mistake as I should have told them get another key before we take the car and they would have corrected the issue right away

Excellent. We purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue. Our salesman Cody Martin was amazing. He showed us some options, helped with test driving, answered questioned. He even sent me photos after I left of interiors I wanted to see. The whole experience was 5 stars. Thank you! It was our 2nd time purchasing with Charlie's and with Cody. We will definitely buy again.

Bought a 14' Jeep Grand Cherokee used. Within 1 year of owning it, I began having issues that has cost me around 8k or more within a year in half of owning it. My first service appointment began with 1 new rim due to a crack in it when I purchased it, 4 new tires, 4 new brakes/routers that cost me about 3k. I drove away after them having it for a week.. and returned the next day to find out my brakes were not put back together properly and they needed it for another week. I returned after getting it back for yet another problem and it was there for a few more days. Fast forward a month later, I had issues with the car running hot/check engine light coming on and off which was suppose to be addressed at the first appointment that never was, and a massive coolant leak. It took 3 months to even get it in to wait for the appointment because they were "busy". After it was there, it took 3 days for them to call me and tell me what was going on after ignoring my call all week. They stated I needed a new radiator, had a misfire in cyl 2 and recommended doing spark plugs and quoted me 2800. After 2 Weeks of me calling and calling they finally told me the Jeep was ready for pickup. I did an after hours pickup, and got the bill for 4300, and never paid that amount. I took Jeep and manager worked it out the next day and had me paid what I was quoted (thank you). TWO DAYS LATER the check engine light came back on and I returned the Jeep to the dealership to see what was going on. After review, was told they needed to rip it all apart again and that they needed to do a bunch more to it - meaning throwing more $$ into something I'd already put about 7-8k into. The sales manager would not make things right to keep me as a customer, wouldn't accept to help me pay Jeep off and get into something new when I'd already spent 8k in service within last 6 months...unbelievable. ICING ON THE CAKE - coolant leak was NEVER repaired, car is leaking like crazy STILL!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND CHARLIES MOTOR MALL!

After an absolutely HORRIBLE experience at a Toyota dealership in Portland (with the initials B.C.) I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Charlie's Toyota dealership in early Jan. 2024. I Purchased a Certified Pre-owned Tacoma, Mark was my point of contact in sales. I've negotiated and purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. Charlie's stands out for their professionalism, courtesy, respect and willingness to negotiate. Quality vehicles, no "bad attitude" salespeople. A+++! I will be back!

Quick, easy, courteous staff. Only disappointing thing was the sales pitch for buying extended warranty insurance for $1,900 + after I had bought the vehicle and given a cashier check for the car. Seemed a bit odd, whose benefit mine or the company?

They are the friendliest people to work with when shopping and buying a car! They are knowledgeable and accommodating! I will never go to another dealership. They work with you, not against you. Oh! And they love dogs, so if you have one bring them with you😉 You just might get some brownie points!

Went in to get my oil change and tires rotated. Even though they told me they were running behind and might take longer than usual it was still done in a decent time. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is also very nice and comfortable.

Devin Duncan made the new car buying experience extremely fun. He helped us find the perfect vehicle for us. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer almost everything I asked. I was most impressed with his honesty and sincerity. That is a rare quality in sales and we felt perfectly comfortable buying with his guidance. Make sure you keep him around!

We never got a call our car was ready, we called after 72 hour. When we went to pick it up they said they could not inspect it because no back seat head rest. This garage has inspected the same car that way for 3 years and now you can't? Service engine light was still on when we picked it up and we never got all the fluids flushed like I asked.. Update: Joe called me and asked about this review and my experience with his team. It seems the gentleman who was in charge of communication between me and the mechanics about my car was was not relaying my request. That gentleman was fired and my car was brought back in and everything was done properly. Joe gave me 10% off my bill for the inconvenience. I will be going back to Charlie's for my service .

Completely unacceptable service, multipe planned appointments, 4 months and jeep still not fixed. Prior to appointments I asked if they had all the parts they needed for repairs they said yes. However, then they do not have what they need. I have taken multiple days off work for repairs and it is still not fixed. This vehicle is my lively hood. Apparently at the first appointment they did not figure out what was wrong, if they had it may have been repaired by now. No a happy customer 😒

Cody was very knowledgeable with regards to the type of vehicle I was looking for, as well as colors and options of the vehicles that were on the lot ready to go. From the time we walked in until we had an agreement in place it was roughly an hour, by far the shortest time I have ever spent with regards to a vehicle purchase.

I will be speaking with Tim the sales manager when he gets back from vacation, hopefully we can resolve this issue. Your Subaru branch also can't understand why I was hung up on and told no to the new Subaru I would purchase due to my jeep which I purchased at the end of August and has been back for repairs twice. In fact your service department has had thec 2020 Renegade since beginning of November. Even one of your salesman said it was probably put together on a Friday afternoon, unfortunately the vehicle is a lemon, service manager was excellent but your assistant sales manager treated me horribly even hanging up saying he couldn't do it thank you would love some help.

Joe, the service manager, is outstanding, and Chip, the jeep expert, is terrific. It's tough to get on repair schedules these days (guessing this is still darned covid with less people working and supply chain), but they were so good about getting my jeep in to at least diagnose the problem. Couldn't be more thankful to be part of the Charlie's family!

I loved my experience with Charlie's sales team and the maintenance techs were also pleasant to deal with. They were incredibly busy and handled every customer with patience and close attention.It did take over an hour for my oil change that I had an appointment for, however. I'm not sure if that's the typical wait time or not, but the customer lounge was stocked with beverages, snacks and comfortable chairs so I'm grateful they accommodated us.

I love this dealership. Have bought three cars here. Would have given 5 stars If it wasn't for that damn car wash. Lol. It's never open and they make such a big deal out of it when you buy your car. Like it's some sort of selling point. I even laughed when I bought my last car last month when they were touting it. I said "oh, the car wash that's never open".. they pushed back a Little, but I went today for my first wash.... and guess what... closed. Lol. I will continue to buy my cars here. It's just annoying and kind of humorous at this point.

Awesome area to look for the new ride. Clean and I take advantage of the free car wash with the purchase of a car, new or used. I got a car there almost 10 years ago and still have it and still use the wash weekly.
