John's is, well, John's. All-in-one shopping experience if you need to grab a little gas for the mower before running in to grab what you need to fix that leaking faucet, pick up a few steaks for dinner, and get the wife a pack of cigarettes. Just don't expect to pick up a six-pack to cool off after all that work.I like John's and shop here often despite living an equal distance between this store and Walmart. The prices are on par with other locally owned competitors, and you get a lot less traffic along with a much more personalized shopping experience.Writing the first paragraph in this review makes me think that John's Grocery & Hardware could be summarized as follows:"The Perfect 'Honey-Do' Store"...You can get a new housekey, grab a 10mm socket to replace the 22 you've lost over the past 10 days, find the hardware you need to check off a few more things, get a nice hot breakfast bowl and some coffee, then grab the breakfast items you're going to coerce your wife into cooking for the kids while you're outside drinking the beer you bought down the road, I mean working hard to get that honey-do list done.Oh yeah, did I mention they don't sell beer? It's not a bad thing. There are plenty of places to buy that stuff. Ten out of five stars.

This place is amazing! Great food selection, fresh fruit, veggies, and an awesome deli. Fill yourself up for breakfast, lunch or dinner very cheap. Their catfish is delicious, as long as you can get it home in time to eat it hot.Also, they have the weirdest, but most awesome hardware section. I am always surprised to find funky little pieces I thought I might have to order.

I love shopping at John's, and I love their bread pudding but about 3 days ago I bought some of the bread pudding and it was the worst I've ever had there .. it looked like dinner rolls with some cream and butter thrown in for good measure.. I was very disappointed.... Maybe it'll be good today if I go by there... P.s. their banana pudding is to die for...

Great store. The owners are the best there is. The deli is awesome! Get the catfish or hamburgers. Don't forget the tartar sauce for the catfish. Their prices are great too. I do most of my shopping there these days. You can't beat the service, the meat department and prices for a small AG store.

I wish there was a little more room for the fresh produce, but they always have most of what you need. Almost all of the people have been super friendly except for the brunette with really long hair. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, and now back after 10 years in the military. I never met her before this store, and she’s always rude with me and won’t even say hi. Just gives me a really dirty look, so I purposefully avoid this one every time.

The deli is incredible! Don't miss the fried catfish! Their super friendly employees make grocery shopping a pleasant experience. I definitely recommend a visit!

My wife and I shop at John's just about every day. The people who work there are great! They're always friendly and helpful...always have a smile. The store is clean and well stocked. We just LOVE it!!!If you've never been to John's, try to get there....you'll love it too!

Always clean and nice staff but a little on the expensive side your your paying for convenience because it's pretty much the only store out this way you can get these things that without having to drive all the way to Walmart so you're either going to just pay a little more for the product or pay gas money to get somewhere else.

I love the food in the deli. It's homemade and mostly fresh. The grocery section has a great selection of food items and hardware items as well. Prices are competitive with other smaller grocery stores. Check them out.

Has almost everything you need or want from hot lunch plate with a free cake or brownies dessert, frozen pizza for the weekend, and that bracket you need to put the closet door back on track. Just love it.

I have been shopping here for 20 years. The staff is great. The store is always stocked. The prices are great. The meat is the best around for price and quality. The only complaint I have is that the produce could be fresher. It always seems to be a little old, especially the lettuce and cucumbers. I can purchase cucumbers there and within a day they are rotten. They are always soft to start.Their Deli is great! Try their fried fish or their boudin balls.

I have never had a bad experience at Johns for Groceries or Food from the Deli. The Management and staff are always friendly and helpful. The Pizza is EXCELLENT, and Deli Service is great. For a small store, their selction is more than adequate. These are the reasons I keep going back.

I love love love Johns!! I love the manager there that walks around working, he always stops to have a small chat with my baby girl and I (he was there for the pregnancy, newborn, and now early toddler years). That's why a small town grocery is so amazing, they watch your babies grow, know your name, etc. Love Johns!

Get the fresh fried catfish. You may have to wait on it, but trust me it's worth it. I'm am Arkansas boy who grew up near the Mississippi and I have never had catfish this good. Burgers were excellent also, definitely in the top five burgers I have ever had.

I enjoy shopping at John's. It is well stocked store and the folks are friendly. They don't charge by the pound on there deli. The food is good. Seafood cost a little more.

Love John's Grocery! The deli has great homemade food. I go quite often just to get dinner! Prices are definately less than most stores. Meat selection is good.

This is a mom and pop store. It has a deli, and a hut brothers pizza. You can get gas here as well as fresh fruit and veggies. Only problem with this place is the prices are jacked up. So I'd what your need isn't on sell at this store I would just go across the street to dollar general. A box of fruit snacks can be up to 6 bucks.

This is my local go-to store. If you need it they probably have it. It is family owned and operated which is becoming less and less common with big box stores around. They are competitively priced on most items, but keep in mind that you can't compare them to Wal-Mart, Home Depot, or Lowes. Where they excel is in service. If they don't have something, ask they'll try to get it. Making sausage and need some fat to mix in, talk to the guys in the meat section and they'll save some for you when they cut the meat (for a small price). And the deli, you will be surprised at what they offer and how good it is. Go by and check them out, you'll be glad you did!

Johns Grocery & Hardware is a great store cashiers are very polite and helpful. The only downfall I have with JG&H is the produce section is hardly ever stocked very well and the prices are pretty steep.

Great meat department and I am really happy to have the selection of gummy worms and grinding tools! Extremely happy and knowledgeable people who know the store inside and out but I'm not sure if I have a good thing to say about a PERSON WHO WORKS IN THE FRONT AND I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS BUT I HAVE NOTICED THAT ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION THIS PERSON IS.......HOW CAN I SAY THIS....VERY JUDGEMENTAL TO THE POINT OF A LITTLE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING FOR THE REST OF THEIR DAYS AND SO FORTH! 🤔?............👱‍♀️👈👎!
