Harold in the pharmacy is always a great help. Never seen anyone so positive at any pharmacy. Not too long of a wait time if you put order in in person. Calling in takes a long time. Use the app or give order in person

Pharmacy rude and store clerks just as rude. They need to close this store down. Items are rarely on the shelves. Pharmacy doesn’t even answer the phone. They’ll tell you your order is ready you go to pick it up and then they tell you we don’t have anything for you..

So we just moved here and our d CVS pharmacy was HORRIBLE! Everything about our old CVS made you want to scream... plus the store was so extremely dirty, it actually looked abandoned, the staff was rude and they gave me the wrong medication once that could have killed me. We swore off CVS years ago. UNTIL NOW.... When I pulled up I noticed that the store was CLEAN ( what a GREAT first impression!) Then when walking through the store I noticed the shelves are stocked nicely, the store is very clean and it DOES not Stink like our old store where we use to live! Lastly I was greeted by the pharmacy staff!!! The young lady was so friendly and helpful and treated my concerns with urgency and resolved my problem that I was having with my insurance company. They were so very nice and professional! They have changed my mind on CVS and I will be using them from now on to fill my prescription. I also was able to save a considerable amount of money getting my prescription filled here because I have CVS Caremark insurance!!!

I avoid calling the pharmacy as much as I can. Service there is fine normally. But I've gotten an answer once calling in the last 5 times calling them. Once, someone picked up after 5 minutes or so. That's eh but not the worst. Other than that though when I was desperate enough I've waited over an hour until I got automatically disconnected from the wait on two occasions. None during the lunch break hours or closed hours. Another time I hung up after 30 minutes or so. Today I waited 30 minutes and gave up. It's not exactly great phone service. Especially when an hour is about 12-30 customers. Avoid the phones if you can.

The reason they may have trouble answering the phone, or don't come to the counter right away, is because they are constantly busy working the drive-thru window. Just like any business, everyone has a role for their job. The person way on the other side weighing out medications isn't going to stop and come answer the phone specially for you. The people who are supposed to answer the phones are likely the same ones you see constantly talking to customers. If you were in the store or drive-thru and they answered the phone instead of helping you, you'd complain about that too. These technicians aren't terrible. Customers are terrible. I have never once walked in this store and met a rude employee or seen any of them standing around. I have, however, witnessed a few customers coming in ill-prepared or acting entitled toward the employees.I get a friendly greeting upon entering and exiting this store every time. The store is always very clean and well-stocked.If there is a problem with the order of your prescription, call your doctor. If it's an insurance problem, your doctor office can probably fix that too. They can't help you if they're on a hold loop all day trying to solve everyone's problems over the phone.I never have to call or use the app. My doctor sends my prescription to them and I get a text when it is ready. It couldn't be more simple. We recently changed a medication and my doctor said it might be a few days to be approved by insurance because it's more expensive. I got it 1 day late. Got a text that it was ready when I wasn't even expecting it.

I’m just trying to see how long it takes to fill a prescription. Inquiring minds would really like to know. Waited in line for 1 hour and my prescription still isn’t ready. I was told it would be ready by 3pm. It is now 6pm. Still not ready. Get it together!!!

I wish I had looked at reviews on this pharmacy before I changed to it, THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!I stayed on the phone 20 minutes trying to get them on the phone about one of my medications just disappointed that a major pharmacy like that does not care to talk to their customers 😡

Worst CVS. They simply do not answer their phone ever. They are consistently late with filling and have the nerve to tell me the earliest they can get to it is 30 minutes later. This isn’t just since COVID/labor shortage. This place has always been the worst. It also doesn’t help that the area is very trashy. Get ready to wait in line behind someone that doesn’t understand how the world works and wants to solve Medicaid problems at a pharmacy drive thru and or pick up their controlled substance long before it is due to be refilled, by law.

If you dont care about getting your medicine on time and love to deal with extra stress and anxiety, then this is the perfect pharmacy. Over 4 years now and every month getting medicine has been a ridiculous process. These people should be put in prison for the fact that distributing people's medicine is a huge responsibility and they just dont care if you have it or not. Im surprised that someone hasn't died yet behind their unorganized dirty pharmacy. Peace out CVS Im finally taking my business else where!

I called in Friday to have my sons allergy meds and inhaler refilled and they assured me it was in the works. So I called back Monday to make sure the prescription was filled and the girl who answered the phone was very rude and condescending, I told her I called for a refill Friday and she told me “no dr called us” so I informed her how her company operates and that she had to call them to which she was very rude and said ok we got it and hung up on me! This is unacceptable and my family has been going here for a decade, but I will be pulling all 11 of my family’s prescriptions there and go elsewhere! Do better CVS, your employees are ruining your company’s good name.

They are so slow at this pharmacy. Any time you go in there you're going to have to wait FOREVER for someone to help you. Forget about trying to call. I called to try and transfer a prescription to this store so I didn't have to one in Baton Rouge to pick it up. Waited on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. I could have driven to the other pharmacy and back in the time I waited to get someone on the phone. They always have a ton of people working in the pharmacy, I don't know why they are so slow to respond to in-store customers or answer the phone.

You can never get through to them when caliing. Called to transfer a prescription was on ring for 25mins. (No one ever picked up) Called back, another 15 no pick up. Then called later in day once again, another 20mins. Is no one working there??Workers are very rude (when picked up in store) and they never have a prescription when needed.

No matter what time of day or night they tell you 1 hour or tomorrow for a prescription. Laziest pharmacy ever.The pharmacy has 0 customer service. They will stare at you until you state why you are there. Like we are not all there for a prescription. No one says hello , goodbye or thank you. It's like taking to someone in incomplete sentences. There is never a start or finish to a conversation. Louisiana is one of the slowest, rudest places I've been but you would think someone would have some decency in a customer service industry.Why I continue to get my prescriptions here I don't know.

This CVS store has to be the worst pharmacy in the chain. Customer service is not a part of any of the pharmacy staff vocabulary. I requested a refill of a prescription 40 days ago. The pharmacy was to communicate with the Doctors office and resolve any issues with the insurance company. I had to do that. Today, after many phone calls and trips to the store I was finally told they had he prescription and I could pick it up in an hour. Got in the car an hour later, drove to the store, approached the counter in the pharmacy, told them my name and birthday, "oh i'm sorry sir, we are out of stock for that medication."Walker Pharmacy now has my wife and I prescription business. Oh, if there were less than one star I would have picked it.

I have to call to get prescription filled I cannot use the app so every time I call I have to WAIT FOR 30 minutes on hold! And it takes me 30 minutes to get there however if you WASTE your time going there they will still tell you and hour!!! They do have 2 nice employees that work window everyone is rude and act like you are an inconvenience.

Don’t try calling them! I was told by the app I needed to contact the pharmacy to refill my medicine because the tech cancelled the wrong prescription when I’d called earlier. I was only on hold 17 minutes before they finally got to me the first time. When I tried again to fix the mistake I couldn’t get anywhere with the automated thing and wound up on hold for an hour, I hung up and called again. On hold for an hour and a half and hung up. I called again about an hour and a half before they closed and have been on the phone another hour. They can’t be SO busy they can’t pick up the phone this much I’ve been on the phone trying to get in contact with them for 3.5 hours all together and still no answer.

I have been on hold for over 30 min. just to reach the pharmacy to speak to someone. This is completely ridiculous. I don’t understand why a worker of some kind cannot pick up the phone within that time period.I guess no need to count on this CVS in an emergency!

There pharmacy is slow. They almost never answer the phones and if they do it’s after you been on hold for 30+ minutes. They are more friendly then the Walgreens across the road . But don’t try calling for anything pharmacy .

If I could give a 0 I'd prefer give 0 stars. This pharmacy IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. No one answers the phone. The pharmacy will leave you on hold for 15-20 min and then just gang up on you and never answer your call.😠 I hate this CVS. I prefer walgreens.

In all honesty, I leave reviews everywhere I go. I try to find redeeming values in every business, but THE COMPANY OF CVS PHARMACY, CVS CAREMARK need major customer service training. I have never felt so ‘judged’ by a pharmacy as much as I do with CVS. Either they are out of my medications, or they are late in getting my refills to me (mail). I have suffered with debilitating spinal kyphosis and severe nerve damage for over 18 years since having an accident with a farm tractor. My husband worked for a company who insured their employees with BCBS/Caremark. I cannot recommend any CVS pharmacy. Really wish I could have.

THE rudest Pharmacy staff. When they open the window they rarely ever even say "Hello" they just ask for your date of birth. I had an eye infection and had to pick up some antibiotics for it and the staff member referred to the prescription as "eye stuff". Very unprofessional and rude. I asked a simple question the time before this because I was confused about a prescription and the girl didn't answer me she rolled her eyes and walked away and sent someone else to talk to me. I was really shocked at how downhill this location has gone since I used to live in this area and use the about 3 years ago. VERY disappointed.

January 16th 2023 I caught CVS lying to me set my prescription would be ready after 12:00 noon course when I got there at 1 it was not ready and started rolling down the big cage closing for lunch I stopped them and asked where's my prescription they said they were closing for lunch came back at 2:30 to pick up prescription again girl at the counter had a bad attitude and rolling her eyes at me you must have got in trouble cuz she got caught in a lie made a complaint with the manager I'm going to change pharmacies

What is the point in scheduling a covid test? Sat in line for an hour before getting to the window. Absolutely no help when you try to call to verify they will still provide your test even if you are "late" because the line isn't moving. Will not use this location for ANYTHING in the future.

This pharmacy is a disgrace! It is IMPOSSIBLE to get someone on the phone. I have called 5 times and have been on hold for up to 20 minutes each time. Do NOT go here! Go to Jame's Drugstore. Staff if friendly and efficient .

Stayed on the phone with the pharmacy for 15 minutes before giving up and coming into the store to handle a simple pharmacy change. Waited at the desk for another 15 minutes before being served. I understand busy, but this is ridiculous.

Stayed on hold for the pharmacy an hour.And no one ever answer the call. Had this medication not been for my 89 year father , I would have never stayed on that long. Guess I will have drive over there to speak to a live person.

Never had a pharmisct look me in the face and lie. Not until I went to this CVS. My regular CVS is located in Denham Springs. I went to it this morning to get a prescription filled but it did not have it in stock. The pharmacist called the Walker CVS ( store #5717 ) to learn if it had my prescription in stock and it did. I proceeded to the CVS in Walker and gave the pharmacy department my prescription. In about 2 minutes the pharmisct told me she did not have it in stock. I left with my prescription and went back to the Denham Springs CVS and explained to the pharmisct what just happened. The pharmisct apologized and commented that the Walker CVS did in fact have my prescription in stock but the reason it wasn't filled was because she, the Walker pharmisct, just didn't want to fill it. I also learned that I wasn't the first person to have been treated this way by the Walker CVS pharmisct. My pharmacy then telephoned the next closest CVS which was in Central. I heard my pharmisct ask if they had my prescription in stock because the pharmisct in Walker didn't feel like filling mine put. The Central CVS had my prescription in stock and I was able to get it filled there. I will be contacting the corporate office to file a complaint and to learn if it's the policy of CVS to allow it's pharmisct to lie to it's customers and if it's ok for them to fill out prescriptions only when they feel like it.
