I am a regular customer at this location. This location is the main one I use. The store is always clean and well stocked. The cashiers are some of the best. I would compliment them by name if I could. Great store. Great management and outstanding employees!

Whatever you need, Carter's in walker has it. This is a locally owned market has:-Fresh produce-Fresh meat that has never disappointed-Florist for custom orders and beautiful pre-made arrangements-Sushi that's on point- Hot bar for lunches- Pre-made sandwiches that are delicious- Large selection of canned good- Large selection of toiletries- Large freezer section- Massive wine selectionThis location was extremely clean. I also noticed that they employed a lot of young adults. Love Carter's and theres a great atmosphere and kindness walking in. And the SUSHI is the freshest and the best ever along with the meat, is always packaged first. And saved me today for last minute Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve 😄 so thankful. Excellent and freshest meat! Freshest everything. Shout out to our Walkers Carter's!

Can't give them a bad score, because being open for awhile on Thanksgiving was awesome for me since I ran out of time earlier this week. So 4* and thank you for being open. However I had a not so good experience. It was more than clear to me and at least 1 other person that happened to be standing there, that the employee was mad. Or maybe was already mad. But she wasn't the only one. At least 2 other employees were also mad. The 1st one I asked a question to was not having any questions and quickly said " NO, I won't have enough change for other customers, we're open until 8pm" emphasizing the PM I understand it's Thanksgiving and your at work but please don't be mad at me about it.

While we do not use this Carter's very often for groceries we do exclusively use this Carter's for all of our floral needs Christy in the floral department has literally dropped what she was doing to make a special bouquet for me while she's been incredibly busy because my husband put a lot of thought and effort into what he wanted my husband goes in pretty frequently and Christy is always willing to make a bouquet for me no matter what what's going on because she knows that he put so much effort into it because he loves me so much and that means so much to me more than I could ever say this is the kind of service that you get with a small business and this is the kind of service that is lacking in so many other aspects of the world nowadays I cannot think Christy enough for the amount of love and compassion she puts into all of her arrangements but especially the ones that she curates for me. At this point we exclusively used Carter's in Walker for florals and constantly send people that way because Christy is truly an artist and she is fantastic at what she does. Any floral arrangement she has ever done has always been exquisitely beautiful including the ones outside of the case however she does have a magical eye when you request something special don't underestimate a grocery store floral department because Christy will deliver hands down the best flowers you will ever get.

They scam me. So my card had declined because it was locked then I unlocked it. I went to try again it went through. But I checked my Card activity it said i used it 2 times at carters when it was first experince.I went to ask about it then they told me to leave. I wish could give them 0 stars wouldn’t recommend.

This location of Carter's Supermarket is great! Employees are super friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of groceries and drinks that I have trouble finding at other grocery stores.

Carters Supermarket is a local grocery who has an amazing butcher, bakery, n always fresh produce & fruit. Their seafood market and meat department are STELLAR ! Their florist is the BEST ! Carters always gives back to our community and helps support Walker High School which means a lot to our community. Thank you !

Working in the area and stop here to get a few things and I have to say this store is clean, the workers were so friendly, and the hot plate lunch food was amazing. The wedding cake bread pudding OMG!!

Locally owned and locally aligned. You’ll never see Carter’s Supermarket cow tow to Corporate ideology. Some of the prices are actually lower than Walmart. The quality of products are much better than most places. I don’t mind paying a little more in exchange for a lot more in return.

I am very disappointed. I paid $40 for ground beef and $20 for steaks. The meat was red upon purchasing until I opened it. It smelled bad and now it’s grayish looking. I would not purchase meat from this place.

This store is always clean and the staff is nice. I can usually find assistance and the checkout lines aren't too long. I can usually find what I'm looking for and it will be reasonably priced...compared to the competition. I like all 3 Carter's locations near me. I highly recommend shopping here.

You won’t find a board showing how many millions of dollars they’ve contributed to charities. What you will find is a family owned and operated store that cares about their customers and their community. During every flood and hurricane this family was out there serving customer’s as best they could. Walmart was closed.

I shop here all the time to avoid Walmart. More expensive but much cleaner and organized environment. Most of the cashiers are very fast friendly and professional. There is one cashier that never greets me back when I say hello or says thank you. Does not say the price of my subtotal. Does not say have a good day or ask if I need a receipt. It is always the same cashier but I do not remember her name. However, the rest of the staff is amazing and I have only had bad experiences with this one cashier. Would definitely recommend shopping here if you don't like crowds like me.

Sorry that they moved off the corner of Lockhart. Now they have this nice great big fancy Dancy grocery store and the prices that go along with it. The old store you could order a plate lunch for a flat fee or get a biscuit and gravy for only $1.99. Now you wait on yourself and one biscuit and some gravy was almost $4. Didn't buy it. To do miss the old store shop there lots of times.

Great store. I found the freshest strawberries in town in produce.The bakery staff were very kind. The seafood/meat department had variety, fresh products and great prices. All departments excelled. I haven't shopped at Carter's a lot, but will from now on. There was great care to quality and friendly staff in every department.

I love this neighborhood grocery store! Staff is helpful, great selection of Louisiana products, the seafood buffet on Fridays is fantastic (please never stop making those shrimp jalapeno poppers!) I'm here at least 5 times a week.

Everyone is friendly. There's a good selection of everything considering it's a neighborhood type grocery store, meaning smaller than an Albertson's or Winn Dixie. Easy to find what you need tho. Their fried chicken is soooo good. So is the fried catfish. The best is their wedding cake bread pudding...to die for! It's clean and pricing is like the rest of the stores. Sales are great, so I always look for them.
