I have recently moved here from out of state and this Veterinary Hospital has been amazing with our dogs. They have treated our dogs like family. Dr. Tony is wonderful. He listens to our concerns and always has a solution. I trust this them completely with my fur babies completely.

In the past month, I've taken a mare and a donkey to get their teeth floated, took 2 cats for leukemia tests, and a dog for her vaccinations. I've been going there for at least 15 years. They've always treated my animals like family. I love going there.

My almost 2 year old mixed breed got into it with a wild hog last night. He hade several serious lacerations upper body and throat. I took him to the hospital as soon as they opened. Dr. Pearce took him in immediately and they started treating him. After about an hour of shaving, packing, stitching, and drain tubes, I was able to take Dane home with a course of antibiotics and pain relief. He has slept most of the time since we got home. But I can tell he's feeling much better. He ate 2 soft scrambled eggs and was looking for more. Now he's decided he should sleep on my bed by me!

My husband and I moved to Bossier Parish five years ago. Since then we have rescued 17 cat and most recently a pregnant female that gave birth to five kittens. We alway have all the cats and dogs neutered and spayed. After our most recent rescue found us we didn’t know if we would be financially able to have another six cats neutered and spayed. We are so glad that we found you because your neutering and spaying prices were so much more reasonable than all the other places we contacted. Thanks to McMahen Veterinary Hospital we were able to get all the cats fixed. The veterinarians and staff are great. Experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate.

They are pretty expensive. My dog was there for 2 days. It was over 500 dollars. She did not even have surgery. They did not weigh her, and they had the wrong birthday. They could not tell me if they gave her, her insolin. She takes 2 t imes a day. SO, they are very expensive. I about fell out when they told me how much it was. I am disappointed.

Y'all this is a great vet clinic..they do everything in front of you so you can be with your pet (family member) when practical..they answer questions, and are very knowledgeable and friendly.

We have always used McMahen since 1993 when we had Pierre Trammell, our cocker spaniel. We love the atmosphere, the kindness, the love that they show to our furbabies. I live in Minden, LA and drive to Springhill, LA for my grandpuppy, Potato. We love you all and continue to be great! World meet our Potato Trammell!

You have always taken great care of my puppers, answered all of my questions, taken great care when there were health issues (some major), and provided emotional support. I cant say enough great things about this vet office. We drive 3 hours to bring our dogs to them. They are the only ones that can provide the care and services that us and our dogs need. Clients for life. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! This vets office.

I am visiting at this area from Texas , I find it hard to believe that they have a front desk lady that doesn’t greet customers , smile or show a kind attitude . It doesn’t costs us to greet , say good morning or being kind . I expected that a Vet hospital/ clinic to be of like that esp . In putting a staff at a front desk . I visited 3/30/2023 at a 10 a.m appointment. I assure you i smile , greet and say hi to her but she has very poor service front desk lady.

Vet care is amazing. Our dog suddenly collapsed Saturday evening and Monday when we brought her in we were told she had internal bleeding. Vet was very informative and supportive. Jumped to action when we decided to go through with surgery. I'll give 5 stars for saving my dog. HOWEVER, I wish the lady at the front desk would have showed more compassion when we called to check on our dog. Felt like we were rushed to get off the phone or she was irritated when asking her question.

McMahe's is amazing with all of our dogs. We had a emergancy about a week ago and called 10 min before they closed. They could have said we will wait but it will be a after hours emergency cost like most vets do. They waited had our dog checked in and called us back. We have had 2 visits like this and they always wait for us to get there and treat our dogs with no hesitation. I have no complaints at all.

I Had heard Nothing but good things About this place so of course when my Ryker baby got sick that's where he went. Unfortunately, my experience was not the same as Who had heard good things from. First, The receptionist was very rude to me when I called and tried to tell her my dog was being treated for the wrong thing and asked a couple of questions. She was just as rude whenever I went to see ryker but was friendly to everyone else that walked in. They had him for about 9 days and still no one would listen to me. He passed the day after I went to see him. Now he's probably sitting in a freezer waiting for me to be able to afford the bill. I just want to have him cremated so I can bring him home to me like i promised I would. my heart hurts. They continuously tried to tell me my dog had parvo which in fact I know he did not. He ate some onion which is very toxic to dogs but no one would listen to me due to the fact my roommate had to take him there because I could not at the time and told them it was parvo. No tests were ran, I know for fact. If someone would have listened to me maybe he would have made it
