Tractor Supply of Opelousas, La. are on the top of my list when it comes to all Farm supplies and tools you may need, also including animal feeds, plus a lot more.

I had a super helpful staff member help me select the correct model of mower I would need, he went out of his way to make my purchase and delivery stress-free. I like the selection of merchandise available there as well.

Stopped for propane in a motor home and the service was exceptional. They even printed out directions to my next stop and the attendant helped me in safely backing up on their lot. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasure to visit our Opelousas TSC. Many of the workers know me and what I’m there for when I walk in the store. Mr Mark has gone above and beyond to help me get items ordered that I needed. Ms. Sheila always makes sure I know when the baby chicks will be arriving. Great Staff at this location.

Some of the associates are nice. Others don't give you the time of day and won't help you. The store is often untidy with ladders blocking the aisles and items in the wrong locations. Both inside and outside of the store should be kept neat and the employees all need extensive training in customer service. Customers work hard for their money and don't have to shop at Tractor Supply. Good customer service and a tidy store could increase sales tremendously!

I never get good service here. Bought hot panels and waited 20 minutes for someone to come unlock the gate. They never came. Asked the girl at the counter to call someone twice. Scrapped the whole thing and had my cars refunded. Second time this happened to me at this location.

Cashiers are few and far between. The biggest problem I have with the one I went to is that this particular store seems to do most of their stocking during the busiest part of the day. You can't push a buggy down the aisles and there are no one around to move them or unload them. The help desk personnel are usually very helpful. Cashiers tend to wander off and talk to other employees rather than check folks out. Don't know enough about stock to answer questions. The reason for high stars is they usually have just what you need - if you can find it.

Called ahead to be sure they had barn door hardware. Drove 21 miles one-way to get there. Was told they did. Arrived and ask an employee where it was located in the store. She remembered our call, but did not know where it was. She ask the other employee. He seemed to be someone in authority. "Sure, I'll show you." We followed him to an end-cap and he pointed while saying, "It's down there at the end on the left" and walked away.We found it and tried to figure out what parts where required. The display did not have enough information for a novice. We look around for assistance. There was one customer standing at a counter waiting to be helped, but no employee was in site. Two customers at the checkout. I went to the checkout register and asked for assistance. She was surprised. "Oh, I thought he was going to help you." No, he pointed to the location and left. PA system - "Customer needs help in hardware!" Back to the hardware and wait. Waited a brief period, no help. We leave and drove to Doug Ashy in Lafayette. Nice display, quality help, found what we needed, better selection.Tractor Supply=understaffed with poor customer service. 2:00 pm, 4 customer, one employee at checkout and one somewhere, but not in the retail area.

Fantastic customer service, as per the usual with TSC. Good sales prices during the sales season. Got a Gerber razor knife and multitool for $4, and at a store in Illinois I got ten brand new button up shirts for $0.99 each.

We bought our chicks from here! The prices are great, & the lady (who's name we forgot :() Was WONDERFUL! She gave us all kinds of tips, & tricks. We will definitely be coming back to this tractor supply, bc of her!

I have been shopping at Tractor Supply for several years I've always had Fairly good service I went with my walking stick because I'm injured and I had no one to help me with the 50 lb bags of feed other than that I guess it's alright the only bad thing I have to say it by Tractor Supply is that being a disabled veteran I don't get my 10% anymore from y'all that's why I do most of my shopping other places Lowe's give me a 10% discount because I'm a veteran my health food store friend give me 20% off

I like this tractor supply or the one in Scott. This one usually keeps shelves stocked and has good customer service, especially one lady that I will edit with her name! The one in Scott is my favorite but this one is definitely close second!

I called an asked for a certain dog kennel they told me they had it... I asked them if they can hold it for me.. The man said yes.. when I went to get it it was sold... If they couldn't have held it then they should have said that over the phone.. highly upset!!! Drove 30+miles in traffic to get here.

Need to keep store hours updated on Google. People rely on it. I just drove 20 miles to get here and it's closed at 6:30 and more importantly my pets health was actually depending on it.

Surprizingly good prices on tools. Large sockets ( 1 5/8" 1 13/16" ) priced better than Lowe's and Home Depot.

The place has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I told what I was looking for , it was on same during Christmas , will when I ask the working said well they only had a few pokers from the fireplace accessories, but made effort to show me where it is or go look in the back , bottom line no CUSTOMER SERVICE,

The feed is very high and they charge you tax on it. Not like California where you don't pay taxes on food even livestock food you don't pay taxes on, only horses cuz it's non-consumable, at least supposed to be. "Lol!

it's always so slow checking out. This store inOpelousas is much faster than the one in Denham Springs .
