We have stopped in here at this location several times when visiting my daughter who lives nearby. There is always something that the hubby needs to pick up or that the store nearest us is out of stock of an item he needs. He has always found what he is looking for here. The store is well stocked, staff knowledgeable and friendly. The store has always been clean, neat and presentable also. Thank you for a nice shopping experience!

I go to the New Roads location often and always get great service and can joke with the staff there like family. I also go to the one in Denham Springs and St. Francisville. I've always received great service at those locations too.

Overall they have good employees. I also worked at this store. Everyone is so friendly except this one employee. She will stare at you straight in the face and will not say hey how or you or excuse me or anything. She is just rude and unfriendly. Definitely need to work on her people skills. Everyone else at the store is so kind and will talk to you help you out with anything.

Well one thing is for certain about this Tractor Supply, and that is if you are in a hurry to get any and all your farm needs, or welding supplies, rodeo gear, or just grabbing a pair of work boots, or some boot scooting boots, whatever the need, and are in a hurry. Well slide up in here, you won't be rushed, crowded, nor frowned upon for bumping the person next to you, heck that's cause their is hardly anyone here. C'mon on in folks while supplies last, the next person to show just may buy out the entire store inventory.

Little but packed with crafts, seedlings, pony rides and bunnys. It's a great idea if you don't want to be overwhelmed with a large crowd. We'll worth your time.

The two guys and one lady that were working on the two occasions I have been there for something I needed the employees were helpful and had light conversation with me, my husband and my kids. They were polite and knew the store very well. They were knowledgeable about the items I needed and gave me good suggestions and accurate prices.

I like the store but buyer beware. I bought items a from this store little at a time that I needed for an aluminum repair project. Denied returning even with my receipt in hand. Would not take back a $16 unopened box of brazing rods. Employee told me their return policy is restricted to only 30 days. Unfortunately I'll likely avoid TS and spend my money elsewhere from now on.

Moving to New Roads after the 2016 flooding ordeal my husband and I were thankful for a friendly place to go less than 15 mins from our house instead of traveling 1hr back to the nearest Home Depot or Lowe’s stores that we had shopped at over 20 yrs. Forget the crowded days searching for parking and then discover inside out of stock items delaying the project at hand. Added bonus was the farm house decor that hubby found when shopping in the beginning ❤️

One of my favorite places to shop . Such a wonderful selection of items from yard decor and kayaks to every pet supply ever needed and so much more . I am glad that New Roads has a store of such stature and souch to offer. Now all we need is Target to come to New Roads !! 😄

Personnel has a lack of knowledge of most products , they are very much understaffed ,had to load items myself , if you want to purchase items from Tractor Supply I recommend the store in Opelousas, Tractor Supply is achain store that only cares about bottom line , not customer service !
