8 April, 2021: employee showed up at 7:06am. Store is supposed to open at 7am & be ready for checking out customers. She kept the door locked until 7:14am. When I came in the store most the aisles were empty on the shelves but every aisle had at least one cart for stocking the shelf. One aisle had a cart of broken down boxes. The closing shift must have left without doing their job. All I wanted was a car air freshener because I was heading to the car wash, but there was not one single air freshener on the shelf. Not a single type or scent, all sold out. I left at 7:20 without buying anything. The registers were still not open for business.9 March, 2020: Likes to close early, lock the doors, and stand by them hanging out (not working) waving at people saying they can't come in because they are closed. Store closes at 9. It isn't 9 yet!

I have overall enjoyed my experience at this store when it comes to the staff. Although Dollar General should take better care of their employees....it’s HOT at this store!!! I’ve told the workers- i wouldn’t be able to work at this location due to how hot it is. Also - just about every time I shop here there’s always someone running out the door and not paying for their items. Such awesome security DG!

Today I was delighted to be greeted by a young lady name Mia! I was already having stressful morning before walking into the store FYI. But she made it her duty too not only help me while under stress, she also made sure I walked out with what I came in for. Mia you made my day. And I’m sure many others that’s not in the mood with your smile and energy! Keep it up girl! You Rock!!!

The experience in any Dollar General can be good or bad depending on the time of day. The need for more employees is always a priority. Most low income people find Dollar General as their go to place! Shelves are not always staocked and lines are often too long. If they are going to be in our neighborhoods they have to be managed better and offer goods that are good quality and also healthy options!

Terrible customer service. Manage as well as cashier. First of all they need to learn manners. Say welcome to Dollar General when you enter the store. Second of all finish with your customer before asking the next customer questions. Cashier adk me whats the matter? As I was waiting for him to finish with the customer before me. What's the matter is not the correct words. It's how may I help you? Maybe ask if I was returning anything. Ask me why the manager comes out and don't know how to read a receipt. Check the date. It wasn't 30 days from the date I bought the items. She told me she couldn't give me a refund . My receipt was not expired. I told her it has not been 30 days yet. She looked down at the receipt. She finally figured it out.

Well I just stopped by to get some bottle waters(Dasani) and a couple of Powerade drinks. The store was clean, pretty organized and the cashier was was very polite. Any time I'm in the area and in need of a few things i'll be dropping in.

So we were turning around in the parking lot and the lady that worked there came to the door and started yelling at us to leave (with a few choice words I can't use on here) and was yelling about being closed, and started waving us out. Weren't even planning on going inside just turning around. Went back and come to find out they weren't even closed. We just weren't welcome or someone really hated their job.

Great selection signup for the app select your items then you'll get emails of their deals/sales and special events, $5off $25 on Every Saturday after your subtotal is $25 but with that Saturday deal plus their digital coupons that come off with my phone number I'm saving $10-$15/every Saturday I just stick to my list save all my deals til the weekend to save more on my Saturdays but paper products, tissue, paper towels, napkins you can't beat prices, food selection, remodeled frozen/refrigerated food section but all adds up to savings

Compared to the family dollar next door this location is extremely clean and organized.I walked in found my items and checked out. The parking lot was neat. Even the commom area grass was neat.The check out person wandra or wanda was professionally dressed and personable.I enjoyed my experience👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

They are always busy and u have to wait in line 20 25 mins to get checked out they have plenty of people working they just only have to cash drawers In the whole store and u have to wait 30 minto check out the employees are nice love going to dollar general

Customer service is great at this store. The store crowded with stuff everywhere too much stuff, but you can fine your way through the bargains, that the only reason it got a 4 star rating

They must have a new manager. Many empty shelves, stock blocking the aisles. A huge difference from the last time I was there.

I was in the store in Gentilly and I was treated so badly by one of the employees did not get her name, but when it was brought to the managers attention the employee became very aggressive and abusive towards me and the manager did nothing very terrible service I will not go to that store ever again

I was at Dollar General on April 17 at 7:45 where I heard an employee yelling at a customer cursing them out because the customer informed them about a mess on the toy aisle where she almost fell The employee told them it wasn't their problem with a bunch of vulgarity I was appalled The whole store heard The employees name was Terrance

They were only taking cash and they line was long and cashiers were fussing at each other about 3 cashiers but only one was taking money they didn't have a debit credit card swipe, "bad business".
