The staff was very helpful, there were items I couldn't locate, because the store is always adding new items and rearranging stock. It's always a pleasant surprise to find beautifulWall art, at such a reasonable price. I buy most of my cleaning supplies and paper products as well.Thanks

I only shop here when I'm desperate because it's close to home. I would have given this place one star, but it is usually stocked more neatly than I expect. And I did come in once or twice when the employees didn't act outright hostile to me. Honestly, I don't know who's ruder, the employees or the customers. I understand the customers being ugly, though. Word of advice... memorize the prices of everything you buy. The price at the register will be higher on just enough items by a low enough margin that you probably won't argue. I wonder what they do with all the extra dough they're pocketing.

Be prepared to physically carry your items in your hands as you shop since they only have a few shopping carts and no baskets that you can carry with your hands. Pair that with the often long lines and you have a very bad shopping trip. On a positive note, the workers are really nice and friendly!!

Convenient location with a lot of everyday necessities​. Recently, the store was given a new layout and a more modern look but they never have enough cashiers. So, a quick trip turns into thirty minutes because of the check out lines.

Good prices but need better Customer Service all around, where is the Store Manager, or, is there a Store Manager? Went there Saturday Feb 24, 2018 around 6 p.m. bc I was in the area, my purchases totaled around $100. Something went wrong with the register (Cashier stormed off to vent with another Cashier, leaving me just standing there, clueless. When the Cashier finally returned, I piggy backed on what I thought I had heard, asking if my purchases needed to be rung up again, when told "yes but don't know how long this would take", I politely said ok, thank you, and decided to just leave. After standing in such a long line and not understanding what was going on, it's worth it to me to go somewhere else and pay more for better service, you get what you pay for. Don't think I'll be going back there any time soon.

Horrible!!! Whoever manages this store needs to be demoted! Shelves are always empty, never has baskets, store is dirty, card machine never works, never have any bags to put your items in after shopping, lines are always long, always just one cashier working just horrible I can go on and on about this store but it's waayy too much to write.

The cashier's and manager are rude not professional at all.They are on their cell phones while checking you out, not helpful. The young ladies that stock the shelves have been there for a long time and are friendly and speak to you. They really show good customer service!!!

Well stocked location, not a big fan of the audio loop that we are being recorded every few minutes, but a business must protect it's merchandise. Just be forewarned that you are monitored (you will be reminded constantly).

The store has been completely reorganized and is much easier to.navigate.The prices are very low.Rhe staff are very helpful.The only problem is checking out...There always seems to be a long line.

I visited the DG on Airline and purchased wash cloths, garbage bags, toilet tissue & soap. Cost $20.29😉. Clean store, no cluttered aisles and friendly cashier. Then visited DG on Mirabeau. Spent $42.00. Store wasn't well kept. Dirty floors, some clutter in one aisle, another aisle had empty shelves and long wait to check out.😕

I was overcharged for 2 items that was not in my bags then the cashier had the nerve to get smart because she did something wrong. Dollar General needs better customer service at the Paris Ave. location

This store is the worst Dollar General, always poorly managed, in disarray. Staff hiding from customers, and the checkout under staffed. I have walked out on numerous times because clearly they have no idea about serving the customers. If I did not know it I suspect they deliberately try and avoid helping people so that can spend the day doing noting.

They're never fully stocked the register is always broke there's only 1 line operating at a time the prices ring up one thing and the shelf is another price. Needs better management.

After making my required purchases the $2.00 off of $10.00 purchase offer did not activate. The DG store automated coupons often do not activate. Generally I am very pleased with my purchases made at DG stores.

My go to for a place to get a few small thing I need right away. Name brand things most of the time for cheap. Not known for customer service at all, but you'll be in and out. Occassionally, the line is really long since some people seem to use it as their primary grocery/shopping trip.

They need more registers because this is very busy u have three registers and u only work two they are very busy every day so they need cashiers the supervisor is always in the office theirs only one supervisor will come out and help a supervisor is supposed to pick up the slack some of them don't

This store is probably one of the most ghetto stores in the New Orleans area. The staff aren't friendly and the store shelves are hardly ever fully stocked. Each time I've shopped there, only one cashier is working while with long lines. Hated it!

Dollar general was a good shopping experience,they have something you can not find in other stores, but they need real security and most of the stores sit back so far, and criminals target it.

Always a long line and never stocked the place was cleaned and polished a month ago and in less than a week it was nasty again I think a broom in one persons hand would do wonders?

Seems like they've cleaned this place up quite a bit recently. They've also expanded the grocery cooler section, though they still don't have half n half, but plenty of pre flavored coffee creamers are available now. Also a special cooler just for Starbucks bottled coffee that's new!

Some of their employees need a class on how to be professional. Dollar General in the entire city had the most ghetto, boujee workers that act like you are doing them an Injustice because they had to wake up and go to work. They really need to train their employees AND employers PRIOR TO allowing them to represent their chain of stores.
