I wanna preface this by saying I used to work for CVS as a Pharmacy Technician and I just recently left that position. I can even give the name of the CVS I worked at and the two pharmacists I worked under. The pharmacy staff at this location is just plain rude. The first instance was when I got my new prescription sent over there. I had a previous prescription before that one that wasn’t covered under my insurance. I called a few hours after the new prescription got sent over there and asked for the status of them. They were completely lazy and wouldn’t look up the new prescriptions and kept telling me “they’re not covered under your insurance” when I kept telling them that these were new prescription’s that are covered under my insurance because my appointment to get them was covered under my insurance. It took me calling my doctor AGAIN to have her explain to them that she is my new provider and that these medications are covered under my insurance. They eventually got filled. Then there’s the second and most recent instance that happened today. I called to see if my prescription was ready. I was told one was ready but the others were still being worked on. I asked if the other 2 could be expedited and the tech kept telling me “you’ll get a text when it’s ready.” Here’s what they don’t know. I worked as a pharmacy tech at CVS. I KNOW we can expedite medications. I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t know. Overall, the pharmacy at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. The only reason why I stick with them is because they’re so close to my house. The store itself has very nice employees so I don’t have a problem with the store. Just the pharmacy.

Tre’s customer service was absolutely horrible!!! If I could rate this location 0 stars, I would!!!! My family and I are supporters of this location daily, and after the way Tre treated my father, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We visited this location to pick up my father's prescription, and while we were in the store, my dad had to use the restroom but needed the key to unlock the restroom door. We asked the customer service worker, Tre, and he refused to let my father use the restroom. We will no longer patronize this CVS location. Their employees lack simple compassion and kindness. The pharmacy staff was kind and polite, but unfortunately, Tre’s authoritarian attitude has shown that this CVS location lacks basic customer service skills.

This CVS is very rude and it’s sad that corporate don’t do anything. I was placed a a hold and was on speaker phone at that. I cursed wasn’t towards then and was told I can’t refill prescriptions because of my profanity. They seem lazy I never seen a pharmacy so empty in my life. They running the customers away

The pharmacy staff. Specifically the ladies. They always have attitude towards the customers, especially when things aren’t running smooth. When something is wrong with the prescription, they have no desire to help or be apart of a solution. I’ve missed my medicine before because they don’t pick up the phone or have you waiting for hours.

Idk if it was the weather or what but the male cashier was extremely negative. I don’t have a problem at all with the LGBTQ community whatsoever but this man was extremely sassy 💁🏽‍♀️ while being highly condescending! I could tell he liked to argue with women! This location never has people there and I understand why! Unfortunately, the people who are hired these days think that the customer’s money is theirs and can talk to you any kind of way! These employees are not trained well enough to understand what is or isn’t appropriate to say to customers regardless if you’re having a catty day or not! I also pay $5 for the CVS care a month and he didn’t even pull up my number that shows that I pay monthly! So I lost out on my $10 discount because he was too busy being flip at the mouth with nothing but negative remarks to me! I didn’t even take the time out to give this place the recognition of snapping a picture because of your rude employee! I truly see this place going down in foreclosure because no customer wants to encounter unprofessional behavior from any employee.

The staff at cvs always greet you when you walk in and very polite and wanted to help you find whatever you are looking for. The pharmacist staff is very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions are concerns about your medications.

Worst experience at CVS New Orleans LA it was out of stock at many items. I stopped by there to get Tylenol and they didn’t have it. Then at self checkout the counter was out of bags, i took a bag from cashier but she didn’t bother to put bags at counter for later use.

Strange pharmacy experience. Be very clear when you talk with the pharmacy staff. Make sure you understand everything they’re saying to you. And then double check it. Check your bag. Don’t forget to ask questions. Because when you were at this CVS, you were the only person looking out for your own interests.

Just seems like no one here wanted to work. registers were down forcing you to check out on your own. God forbid you had a disability the lady wouldn’t check out at her register claiming it did not work.Couldn’t put money on my zelle.Couldn’t use the money order systems. Said to have been down.I just get the energy she didn’t feel like doing it. That’s fine. I’ll write my review & shop at a different place. Simple. But my gas was wasted so I’m here.

I stopped in and purchased a couple items. After getting to the car and looking over one of the items I decided I wanted to return it. Mind you it had been less than 5 minutes. Go inside and this very rude employee said I can't return it because it was a clearance item and there's no returns. I said no one told me that and I looked over the return policy right there at the register and it mentions nothing about all sales are final on clearance items. Had I been told that at the time of purchase I wouldn't have purchased. She said she doesn't care and no return is happening. Now I see why this store has the ratings it does. CVS needs to have training with the store manager and all of the employees. I'll be sure to never cross the threshold of any CVS again.

This is the CVS on Franklin Ave. They are extremely close to my home. The crew are a great, cheery and helpful crew. They have never missed greeting me when I enter. Rene IA always helpful. I love his energy.

UPDATE: I've decided to move all prescriptions from this location. They persisted in filling prescriptions (as much as three weeks in advance) after repeated requests not to. Then I turned up way short of a medication only to have them tell me I should've gotten two bottles. I've had multiple prescriptions filled for two decades now and have never lost or misplaced a bottle of medicine. Done with them.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Few problems with the staff as I almost never go inside. I go there to pick up prescriptions via drive thru and only because CVS discontinued free delivery.It'd be nice though if they actually thought to put a sign up outside when the 2nd drive up is closed instead of having people wait for nothing.My main complaint is that CVS keeps auto refilling my prescriptions, often weeks too soon and in spite of my repeated requests, in person, via phone, and via message center to NOT do so.

I used to love this CVS, but it’s gotten so bad that I drive to another part of town to get what I need. I’ve had more than one bad experience. They’ve refused to take back unopened merchandise with a receipt. They’ve refused to accept UPS returns even though they are a shipping/return location. I’ve used them in the past for this purpose. I realize they are short handed and that’s probably part of the problem. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Pitiful service!I'll never go to this CVS again.I was 2nd in line at arrival and they made me wait over an hour because the system was having problems processing the $3.18 payment. I could have given them $10 and keep the change...give me my meds that had been ready to pickup...make some adjustment for customer satisfaction.My BP is spiking from this episode.I had to call CVS Caremark and get them to call this CVS earlier to release the insurance hold.The CVS Caremark supervisor called the store to make sure they would and at about noon the system had Ready to Pickup.I was at CVS on LC Simon for about 90 minutes waiting for them to process my payment.Unbelievable!

Unfortunately I have to receive prescriptions thru my insurance but I would never go here otherwise. The staff is rude, loud,ignorant and unhelpful. I would give 0 stars if were able. The self checkout machine malfunctioned and was treated like a criminal when I returned the next day. I wont be returning ever again.This store is an abomination. A model of mismanagement. The outdoor lights were out for months. Horrible!

Very very very long wait times for COVID test! Average 10 minutes per car, timed it. I’m not sure if it’s because they’re understaffed or just not working efficiently. CVS, Please staff these COVID testing sites better and instruct staff on efficient protocols. Your staff and customers deserve better.

Decided to try this store for first time after going to Rouses instead of going to my usual Walgreen's store nearby. When I asked lady, who was checking her cell phone and had her back to me, which register was open, her reply was "The one that says open." I told her she didn't have to be so smart. It was then she finally turned around saying that she wasn't being smart and turn right back around. She called another girl,who was already busy, to come check me out so she could continue to do nothing. I left my item on counter and walked out. I will NEVER go back again and neither should anyone else. Do yourself a favor, spend your hard earned money someplace else and receive some customer appreciation too! Your blood pressure will thank you! Disgusting!! Who is the manager of this place by the way? READ THESE REVIEWS AND DO SOMETHING ALREADY!!

Store staff is always very nice and professional. Quick service and store is always clean. Pharmacy, however, is terrible. Personally, It seems they don’t Start processing the prescriptions until I call to ask why it’s taking so long. Example: yesterday, ER called in a script for my 2yo. He didn’t need it until today since they game him a dose in ER. This morning, the script still didn’t appear in my account online. Called for 15 minutes and was finally told they were “just now processing it, and it would be ready in an hour.” Now, an hour and 15 minutes later, it’s still not ready and I’ve received no text email notifications with a status.

Experienced I have had in last 2 years since my jobs switched preferred pharmacy from Walgreens to CVS...is too many calls and texts stating items are ready for pick up and they are never really ready at all. I was told there was a wait and they were not sure why it wasn't prepared after getting few notifications. I just don't get it...this isn't the intented purpose of being contacted.

I live out of state and needed to fill my prescription here. Bryan, the pharmacist, was very professional and ready to help. There was an insurance problem, but he was able to offer me a solution that worked. This was a tremendous help to me, because I was down to my last 4 pills. 5 Stars!

This CVS should be re-staffed immediately. The pharmacy department operates in complete confusion about everything. They will tell you that a certain prescription can not be filled until the doctor is contacted. I took the prescription to another CVS and it was filled immediately. The pharmacy appears unorganized and misinformed about customer care. Will never shop there again.

This place is the WORST!!! The pharmacists here is full of it! Every time I try to get get a RX filled he ALWAYS HAS to call my doctor to make sure it's right. He always questions my doctors orders and the. Doesn't fill my medications because he has to call the NEXT day! But I can always take it to another CVS in the greater New Orleans area and get it filled NO problem! Save your time and energy and just go to the nice new lady at the brand new CVS in midcity.

Says opens at 8 am, stood there until 8:10am with doors locked to then be told I had to wait another ten minutes because of an issue. No signs, nothing on the door. I have a newborn at home, literally 3 days old, I came when they said they were open on google and their door hours to make a fast trip.

Really nothing special about this location and hours aren't great, it's not especially dirty and you don't get harassed by baggers either but it's not very friendly. If I pass by I will feel fine going here but the best I can say is that it is safe, bland, and has a drive-through.

The customer service should pick up the level of quality. I was staying in line(the was only one associate), when it was my turn, the sent me to another register and took one more person after me(it was rediculously upsetting) .
