It's okay. They truly do have a lot of stuff for a small town, but there were many things they didn't have. Still, they are better than the neighborhood ace hardware store. They're lacking on electrical supplies and even some plumbing supplies. They are a little overpriced. The layout of the store is very confusing and in my opinion not very organized. As an example, why not put electrical and plumbing next to each other? They're literally across the store from each other.

Excellent experience. The young man in flooring helped me tremendously. He was also working in paints, so he was doing double duty. All staff was very friendly. My husband says they are always friendly and helpful. A place highly recommended to shop.

Plant selection is always dead or dying, seed selection is stored outside in the weather (this reduces viability), computer system is incredibly slow and freezes Every. Single. Time. I'm there. Cashiers are not knowledgeable, parking is too tight to load supplies.

the cashiers or my cashier charged me for the wrong stuff I could not get anybody to help me look for another item I need is then I had to go back inside so they could fix the ticket and they overcharged me again. Not a good experience at all this is the last 3 times so I think I will just start going to Lowe's or somewhere else. The man outside that check the loading tickets he was great the boys that voted would and stuff they were great inside they need a serious serious restraining session.

Checkers are not friendly. Feel like im bothering them. Hard to find anyone to help. Young blonde in garden are omgoodness sorry I spoke to you.Young man in paint department was fantastic. The employees are great and the product selection is good. THE A/C DOES NOT WORK IN THE STORE!! Considering it did not work a month ago I'm assuming they have no intention of fixing it. I had to just go get in the truck while my husband finished shopping. I will order online from somewhere else during the summer.

I have had issues in the past with this location, but my faith has been restored in them. Especially due to Tammy. She has been heaven sent and never does she not have a smile on her face. Thanks for making our home remodel project a little easier with your kindness and very helpful tips Tammy.

Everyone in science was very kind today and seemed like customers always came first I bought a couple items out of there that that I've been looking for it I couldn't find them anywhere else and that just made my day and so I can get back and and I'll put the parts on that I bought even though I didn't go over there to buy anything man when I saw him that part that I've been looking for it really make me feel good let me know that I got to come back also took one of their sale papers that I could look through and I still found a couple other things that I needed that I could have got your father just took time out to look at the sale paper while I was in there so I advise all other customers to look through the sale paper they have some good sales out I bought about something that I need it and I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for it and it was cheaper cuz everybody always talk about how much higher stanzas but I didn't see it anyway thank you Steins and y'all have a nice day

Horrible customer service. Employeescomplacent and rude. Went three different occasions, once for some posts (called ahead to confirm price and availability) only to find they didn't have them when I got there, once for some straw bales (again called ahead) to once again find they did not have them when I got there. Most recent, went to purchase some concrete blocks, was charged in store, and went to have them loaded in the yard....only to have employee scratch his head and say we haven't had them for awhile......

Usually this is my go to place, however the customer service here lately has went down a lot. When you can finally get someone to help you, they do not know what you’re talking about. Especially the red headed lady in the garden center. Was literally ignored by an employee as I was trying to ask for help. She kept walking and did not hesitate to stop even with me walking up to her and saying “excuse me ma’am”. To the point where I’d rather drive an hour to Lowe’s or Home Depot than 5 minutes to this store. Such a shame that this company has let its employees ruin its name.

Went into try and find some wire. We were there almost 5 minutes before anyone asked if we were looking for something. When we told the employee they said they thought it was over and hardware and refused to come with us Hardware by the way is like 12 aisles. We passed about four other employees that sauce going round and round and I kept asking my husband have you found it yet. They just looked at us There is only one employee that has ever been helpful to us there. If they don't have time to help me they don't need my money so we went to TSC

Came to town to have lunch with friends and stopped here just to look. I was very impressed. I was looking for a gift for my husband and never expected them to have it and they did. The Weber I thermometer and the best variety of Treager aessories that I have yet to find. Plus the staff was great!!

On this Christmas Eve morning, I would have hoped the checkout personnel would have more of the Christmas spirit. I understand it's difficult having to work on Christmas Eve, yet we should have it within ourselves to look beyond and make the day as pleasant as possible. This was not the case. Neither young women smiled or showed any enthusiasm or positive customer service. The young lady that rang me out, ran my card then left to go "to the office", telling the lady in the register next to hers to give me the receipt. She did only that. She handed me the receipt without making eye contact or saying a word. There are customers out on this Christmas Eve that may be going through difficulties, sadnesses, or a host of emotions. It should be one of the purposes of a business to make the customers day a little brighter, especially near the holidays. This wasn't the day this morning. Merry Christmas.

I like stines, but this time around.... not so much. Most time when I come, I usually find things with no problem and sometimes the staff help me find those. But this time no one wanted to help, it's not many times that I would ask for help. This was something I needed for my kids. I know one time shouldn't depict my overall rated, but I was really disappointed.

Looking for a stainless steel screw and employee did not stay to help find what I was looking for. Then I had to find him and ask a question the second time. He wasn't very knowledgeable and had an "I don't care" attitude. Nice store but will now be back.

Where do I start. First of all if you wanted to buy appliances the lady in appliances doesn't excellent job. So does the man the tools department. They also have someone in paints who extremely knowledgeable. There are a couple of cashier's that are decent. But for the most part service is not what comes to mind when I think of Stines. When I order something out The LumberYard I usually go outside wondering if they're actually going to have it. They mix up orders all the time and it takes forever to get to The LumberYard. Outside of a few departments you're very lucky if you get anyone who renters assistance in a reasonable timely fashion. If for any reason I happen to be in Shreveport I usually pick up my materials for jobs there I would much rather deal with the customer service at Home Depot and Lowe's even though they're an hour away. I like supporting local businesses so this is really sad to have to say. I feel sorry for the few employees that do a good job there. I can tell you lots of horror stories but I don't think I have time to do that. But I would highly suggest going to Home Hardware

The store is fairly useful, but the floor manager Steve isn't very polite, quite rude actually. The cashiers are also friendly and polite, the yard manger John is also a very polite and helpful guy.

Every time I come to this hardware store I experience absolutely horrible customer service. At this point my experiences at the store purchasing lumber and paint have all been so bad it’s worth it to me to drive the 45 minutes to Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Call to get a price on a stihl chainsaw! Was on hold ! Stihl need to pull their items from stines! Seem they don't have time for their customers! I will go somewhere that love their customers! Not stines in Natchitoches La!!!😠

There appears to be no competition; this is it. Overall they try to and do a good job. Service is typically good, occasionally like at many places, you have some texting rather than helping.

They have some of the best people and some of the sorriest. I go to the good ones and run from the bad. Prices are too high, it's a convience factor though

Drove 40 miles to Pick up Tongue and Groove Boards that they said they had. When We arrived the Cashier didn't know what it was and Finally found it. When We got to the Lumber area in the back the 5 Young Men couldn't find it. Refund Please!

Really! 58 dollars for two 5 gallon gas cans. Stines you should be ashamed of yourselves. It started with 24.99 quart of hand sanitizer now this. We will not be shopping there again.
