The store is super clean. I purchased over 40 dollars worth of 🍣 sushi Friday 04/22/22. I asked the Itamae for extra wasabi and she gave me a dime sized dollop more. Is there a horseradish shortage, that I am unaware of??? Shenanigans!!! I was craving sushi. Initially, I was going to place all of it back into the display case, as I was not pleased at all. I was sidetracked by a friend...who reminded me I needed some additional items for purchase. I went down the ice cream 🍨 aisle ...to cool down and get a frozen treat. Out of nowhere, someone asked me if I needed help. It was an an amazing employee by the name of "ALTON". Alton was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, informative, patient and very customer service oriented. We talked about sugar free choices and options / popsicles vs. ice reams. The interaction overall was refreshing. He was completely what I needed in those following moments. His exuded energy restored my faith in the power of compassion and positivity. Alton you did that!!! Who knew that this random act of kindness on this day, could really turn a negative experience within the same store around. There have been other negative experiences that have not been reported at this location, but let's let by gones be by gones. Rouses Corporate please create a mold of this model employee and start a production line replicating Alton's. Like the Terminator, due to him "I'll be back".

My wife ordered a cupcake cake with the Unicorn image and an 8 in round cake with Saints logo. Upon arrival for pickup the images were on the wrong item. We were told to return and 1 to 2 hours to pick up remakes. They were designed as requested, yet the Saints Cake's craftsmanship and handwriting was HORRIBLE. While Distributing cupcakes to my daughter whom birthday it was and her friends the cupcakes were hard as rocks and very porous inside resembling the texture of wheat bread. I would suggest selecting a different location for any baked goods. There are too many Rouses to gamble with this incompetent location.

Close by so stopped n got my half n half. Prices here are super high.. I don't shop here. Rather Winn Dixie. I would like to know why the ad says center cut pork chops for 1.88 a pound.the ones on left 1.88. The nice ones small pack, say same thing. But 2.99 a pound...please tell me what's the different

Fantastic shop with a great selection of food and groceries. The food is delicious and there's plenty to choose from. Definitely recommend going there either for a quick stop or some dinner on a weekend. Whatever the need it's a great choice.

This store is clean, organized, and well managed! They have tons of items to choose from, such as beers to cooked food. They have my favorite pickled quail eggs (Joseph's), and they have organic pickles. Locally owned and operated: a Louisiana original! Nothing has changed. It's still a great local grocery store. Still doing great things as a grocery.

omg!!! surprised my husband today with lobsters from Rouses in Marrero!!! it was really great. I bought some shrimp a week ago freaking good..Employees are really helpful and so nice. Customers are even polite..Love this place.so so clean

I don't know why my post didn't show up but I'll try this again. Picked up a package of chicken breast yesterday to make pizza and why does one of the breast look much older than the other one? I really hope the Rouses is not mixing the outdated with the fresher meats.. Now if I had just put this package of breast in the freezer to cook for a later day, I wouldn't have noticed but please see pic for yourself. It will be returned!!!!

A great grocery store with exceptional customer service and quality selections. I was surprised to see the dry aged beef and pleased at the local products including fresh seafood. Yummy!

Love this store! Been a great experience since they opened. Friendly and welcoming staff. Prices are ok, not the cheapest, but most are decently prices. Fruit and veggies are fresh and not beat up.

My go to for a quick bite for lunch. Their produce is always so pretty. I go to this Rouse's almost daily. Great staff. If the lines get long, they open more registers. I have always felt safe shopping here.

Everything in the store is stocked up.no shelves empty you can find anything that you need. The workers are nice they try to help you to the best of their ability. And the store is nice and neat all the time. Keep up the good service.

I just want to say how amazing the staff was in the bakery. I ordered cupcakes for my daughters call to celebrate her birthday. When I got there to pick them up someone had already grabbed them from the counter. The ladies were so kind to remake the order and gave me an extra dozen . They could have just said we're sorry but we don't have an order for you but they did take the time and pulled the order sheet.

I love Rouses. Clean..pleasant staff. A huge variety of well arranged fresh produce. A lot of options here as well as a huge wine selection. The ONLY down side id that it IS a bit pricey. But I would rather pay more to a local than support corporate conglomerations.

You really should put up a sign that we need to tell cashiers before we start the transaction that we have WIC, especially since that has not been the case ever since I started shopping here a year ago. The cashier was very disrespectful about the whole thing. On same trip had multiple items that were listed one price and rang up higher. Used to love this store but very disappointed.

We recieved the wrong order for our curbside pickup order and didnt notice till we got home, we called the store and the gentleman Desmond insisted he deliver our complete order all the way to my house in Lafitte; 30 mins away from the store at 7:00pm. Wow customer service on this guy is unbeatable. Thank you desmond

Love shopping at Rouse. The shelves are stocked. Produce is fresh and beautiful. Good variety. Clean store. Fast check out, the cashiers are friendly and very efficient. You can always find an employee if you have a question. I guess you can tell I love shopping at Rouse.

Friendly staff, products you won't find anywhere else, and a great deli and salad bar. All these keep me coming back. Also, there are holiday meals you can order and they are about as close to what mom cooks as they can be. The Cajun turkey is fantastic! All items are reasonably priced and with it.

Best variety compared to other local grocery stores. The stores are always clean and well organized. If I can't find an item at Wal-Mart, I know I can find it at Rouses.

Rouses is large but very spacious with much room for the many shoppers. So many busy shoppers with employees extremely loading the shelves/ freezers/fast food areas all this being done smoothly around the busy shoppers without any interference from each other. The clerks were speedy but efficient with a big smile. Shoppers were spending much money with a nice attitude. Rouses is a very large warehouse looking store but the employees were on their beat with their individual work activities. Employees were ready to assist each customer to keep the lines plus shopping atmosphere running swiftly but Smoothly. The employees were like clock work keeping the customers happy but shopping making sure Rouses making money. This establishment must be paying the employees the right prices. Because everyone was on task without any goofing-off. Others stores or businesses should come observe the many strategies of Rouses entrepreneurs or just good treatment of their employees who exhibit very good work ethics with a smile for customers plus each other plus they have respect for each other. There was no argument s between each other with employees being efficient plus on time with shift change. The managers were not on the P A calling for workers to go to different work areas. Everyone was in place with their space being filled. Keep customers happy with well paid employees goes a long way for Rouses being a well but highly operational establishment. This is the place to go not just for shopping but to see the highly-qualified employees in action during what they do best please the customers and the store. KEEP during your job Rouses with the best employees ever!!! They should be well paid with good benefits because I thourhtly enjoyed my shopping experience. And this is my truth. Thank You Rouses for making all this popular plus possible for the many shoppers like us.Remember happy shoppers spend more 💰 money!! Good luck Rouses.

Great store n very well stocked n clean..Manager Mr Todd was so helpful showing me where things located, just so happened item I was looking for was located high on shelf over frozen foods cases..The prepared food n bakery was awesome...Checkout clerk was fast n Well mannered. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE , will be returning...
