Living in Jena I use dollar general as my #1 go to store and now with the new expansion of produce and cold section I need go no where else recently having a leg amputated the staff never fail to go above and beyond to help me get my gro. Out to my truck without hesitation. And that's something rarely seen today. It's what every Dollar General should strive to be

Overall, this is genuinely a great dollar general. However, I do not want myself or my 3 year old daughter to have to use the mens restroom. If it were clean, it would be a different story but when myself and my toddler (who is potty training) ask for a key & get given the mens keys and I asked if she meant to give me the mens key and she said “it’s for the public” to walk into the bathroom with a toilet filled with poop it’s a bit inappropriate. Other employees have never given me the mens key. Only one in particular. Either clean the restroom that’s “for the public” (from what employee just told me) or just let women and small children in the womens bathroom…Got to love a place of business where employees think they are better than “the public”

Friendly employees. Reasonable prices. Sometimes you have to wait a little while at checkout, but it's worth the wait. It's a small town so there is always someone to talk to or you can just go shop some more. Shelves are always well stocked. Clean store.

For awhile this year it was a very clean store now it's not. Customer service is excellent. They need two or three people that do nothing but straighten and clean. They should not allow people to just come in and destroy their store. It's a privilege to go into a store it is not a right. If people come in and strew merchandise they should be banned at all dollar general for 3 months first offense, second offense 6 months, etcetera. You won't see those people going to a large department store at a mall do that. I've heard workers complain about it. Stop being scared of people. There are guidelines to shopping in a store and respect is one of them.The employees are great. All ways want to help and speak to you. Which is amazing nowadays. I shop there most every week.

I walked in the store and I was hit with a wave of heat.i walked to get a couple of things that I needed and decided that I didn't need the rest to have to put up with the temperature. I then asked the employee at the counter why it was so hot and they told me the a/c had been out for a while. I told them that I just got got out of the hospital from having covic 19 and tgat I didn't need this heat because I was still weak from the treatments and being in the hospital for 6 days.Dollar General: You should take better care of your employees and your customers than that,I will not be back for a while. I got the covid-19 virous from this place. I was only on there about 10 minWithout a maskThere were a few people in there without a mask. I guess I cought it from one of themPs. This Dollar store was not clean or straighten. You need to hire new people? Chyrel Whitman Callender

It's Dollar General.. They're popping up everywhere and are broadening their selection of department store type items. Great deals on soft drinks. Still cheaper than most places

Always try to stock up on necessary items on Saturday. However some of electronic coupon & sale items were sold out. Please make sure you have plenty in stock before sale. Tks

I couldn't walk through the isles. They were full of stuff that needed to be put on the shelves and there was nothing on the shelves. Waste of time because I couldn't buy anything!

Dollar General needs to really check expirations on their food items, I've purchase thing with expired dates that had to be returned and I now notice when I'm shopping lots of expired food on shelves.

Busy store always .long lines too much merch.in the isles in boxes to be put out.they need more workers the ones there are being overworked in my opinion.
