This store is always a mess! If the manager actually worked the time he’s expected to, they could maybe make a difference in that place! But they have employed a manager who, not only can’t manage to get his store in order, he likes to close the store early, before closing time! I don’t care if it is only 30 minutes or 30 seconds until close, if business hours are until 10pm, then the manager should not even think of shutting a register down, much less locking the doors and closing a second before 10:00 P.M.! Just another example of the problems that arise due to being short staffed, and having to hire literally anybody who’s willing, no matter if they possess the skills to do the job, or not.

Product availability & new hire employee not a thumbs up in my opinion however, the dedicated staff members that have been working @this store for awhile are always friendly. New cashier needs to be trained in treating customers equally and not assume customers are uneducated. Don't talk down to a customer, customers are the reason you get a paycheck

Stocked with maxium selection for the small size, albeit a little cluttered. a fantastic store. Sales almost always labeled, and product gets sold out frequently. Awesome manager Ms. Sam. Friendly atmosphere, if your nearby. stop in.

What did we ever do without Dollar General? They almost always have everything I need, and always have plenty that I want. If you return something, though, besides the receipt the thing being returned needs to have a tag on it. I was not aware of this, so I got to keep it, after all!

Newly renovated with produce now! Just hate how all the time the store is.cluttered and full of cart to where you can hardly navigate the store with ease. The workers are rude mostly and always yelling if closing time is soon!

Bought some lunchables for my kids here and they were moldy. Disgusting. But the cashier was amazing. She made the whole situation better. Savannah should be promoted to manager.

The floors are concrete, so they look and feel dirty. The shelves are all unorganized. Positive note: the staff, all though confused about what was on sale and what wasn't, was very nice.

Selection and fronted displays are very well maintained. As I describe the intellectual young man was very well mannered and quick to assist his customers to in an outstanding timely manner. Thank you

Love the cashiers here. They just remodeled and upgraded the store and they now have fruits and veggies. This place gets all of money every week🙄

I really like shopping at this particular location. It is a newer store and their shelves are generally stocked well.Sometimes I find things that I didn't see at other DG stores.

Too much stuff all over the place. I can see this store being wheelchair friendly. And they should have better customer service.

Most of the staff is very friendly. The store is always crowded with unstocked merchandise. They usually have good sidewalk sales though.

I went to the store in holden la store 12981 and the cashier Michael was so rude and insisting that my money was not real that I can assure you that I will never step back into a dollar general again there was no manager around so we was told and when I asked who the manager was I was told Stephanie and he couldn't tell me when she would be in I have always shopped at Dollar general and I worked there at one point but to be totally treated like this for purchase was absurd and you can't get thru the isles the store is a horrible mess

Albany Dollar general is always nice clean and they are always nice people there I recommend this Dollar general to anybody the one in Independence at the four-way caution light nasty nasty nasty and the manager is a b#c not trying to be ugly but she is
