I like this store a lot. Honestly though, the young male employees really ruin it for me. Almost every time I go in there are young men that are rude to me for no reason. I’m pregnant and I have 2 boys. 1 young man told me I have too many kids and he would only have 2… cool opinion, not necessary to say to a customer and he is always creepy I pray he’s not there before I go in. Another time my boys wanted some cookies and a young man told them “No cookies, do you get an allowance?” My boys are 7 and 2 and that was rude and uncalled for and fortunately for him I laughed it off, grabbed the cookies my eldest son wanted and walked away and the young man said “oh come on!” Like he really had a say in what I purchased. I recently purchased 2 pink pineapples because I love when they’re in season and I got one for my mother in law and a young mumbling man I couldn’t understand with red hair told me “these are expensive” which is also unnecessary. Please, train your employees to keep their opinions to themselves because this is ridiculous. It’s fine to say hello and ask if I need assistance. It’s also fine to ask me questions about what I’m going to prepare with my groceries but that is as far as the discussion needs to go. Don’t be a creep.. next time I won’t “be the bigger person” I will become a Karen and ask for the manager. 😂 y’all just hire anyone with no manners.

Friendly staff, and great place to stop for a quick cooked lunch, or dinner.The selection ranges from Southern , American and some Asian cuisine. They also have a nice size selection of spirits, wine , beer, whiskey etc.

I found most of my favorite organic, gluten-free brands and duckhorn wine for $19.99! The cashier and bagger were very friendly! A good excuse to stay out of Baton Rouge!

Shop Oak Point Market for most of our Fresh produce and meats. The meat is Top Quality and reasonably priced. The store is always Super clean and the staff is very accommodating. Never been disappointed in the 8 years since moving to Central.

I love this market. The customer service is fantastic. The selection of products is superb. The meat is fresh and delicious and *GASP* they actually have a butcher in the meat market that is beyond helpful! There’s always someone waiting to check you out quickly as someone else bags my groceries. I’m so blessed to live so close to such a wonderful store. Five solid stars!

Update: ordered a special cake from bakery. The exceeded expectations and the service was great and cake delicious. Every one at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Greenwell springs road loved it. Great place to get all your groceries. Food is always good, staff is always a delight. It is a very cozy and welcoming environment a special part of our community.

I shop here every week.I like this store. I like the meat department.Only complaint is the people bagging my groceries.They aren't trained on how to properly bag groceries.So be carefull when unloading your buggy.Bags will be ripped ., over weight .and glass jars and bottles will be together. I have ad multiple issues with broken bottles and jars from poor bagging.It use to be an art form. Guess no one cares.

Awesome store. Might be a little higher on prices compared to like Walmart..but its definitely worth it. You are greeted and treated like you genuinely matter the whole time you're in the store. The employees actually care and show it. It's nice to not be ignored or to seem like you're a bother when you need help like it can be at other places most times. Love it there

I love everything about this grocery store so so much. It's always so clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful as well. The food that they make in house is all so delicious and has that great homemade taste. I live on the Southside of the interstate in Denham, but will always drive out of the way to either Oak Point Location to grab some of their food made in house for any holidays, events, or gatherings. I wish they had one closer to my house for sure, but it's always worth the 30 minute drive to get there.

Best grocery store in town. Great hours and we love our on line pickup service. With Covid 19 everywhere ,the on line shopping and seniors morning shopping are a blessing. The deli is great. We go there a lot to pick up dinner and lunch. Best king cakes around.They have a wide selection of items including last minute gift ideas. If you don't see an item, they will order it for you. They have done that several times for us and we appreciate the family service and atmosphere.

Oak Point is a beautiful store! Its clean its neat it reminds me of a store in a small town or in the country! Everyone was friendly. I spent much more than I planned but that is not the fault of Oak Point! It is my fault! I should have more self control! Well on that note if I had more self control I would be a size two instead of....well let me just say I could not help it! There is so many different things to choose from! Its almost like being in Hobby Lobby! I could stay all day just browsing!

Beautiful facility quick lines. I miss the fix your own salad bar. But they have long cakes on stock too right now. Support your local grocery stores and your community by shopping here. The owner donates to our church every year. Good people.

Fresh produce and great meat selection. They have the best sushi made daily with their fresh ingredients. Every time I walk in the store I'm met with delicious smells coming from the bakery and deli department. They have a big salad bar and also serve hot foods that you can pick and choose for your own to-go plate lunches. The customer service is wonderful! I'm always greeted with a smile and am always offered help unloading groceries from the polite employees. I love Oak Point!

We love visiting this store when we are in town. There's so much to love about this store. Their strong brand spices are a high quality and so fragrant. I always ask my mother in law to send us more when I tun out. Their crawfish sushi rolls are delicious. Amazing selection of alcohols. Their staff is courteous and helpful. I love that they post scriptures all over the store. I really love everything about this store.

Just got my first pickup order from them earlier this week and they were incredibly kind and sweet! Definitely shopping here again, they even have some products & flavors I can't find in other stores. Also tried the Chantilly cake to see if it tasted better than Whole Foods- it most certainly did! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a great store in the area.

This is a great store. Now, it is a little pricey - you are going to spend more than a big grocery retailer or Target (or Walmart), but the quality of everything is awesome. And they usually have at least one great deal on some type of meat. They obviously have a lot of payroll- people everywhere stocking, zoning and cleaning, and you will rarely stand in line to check out. If you do, it will only be a couple minutes. Definitely worth a visit!

Easy Parking, Very Fresh Fruits And Vegetables, The Deli Has A Variety Of Cut Meats And Cheeses, Daily Lunches Are Prepared, Salad Bar And Sushi, This Store Most Definitely Lives Up To It Name. Everything Is Very FRESH. Friendly, Polite And Very Helpful Staff Members. Handicap Accessible, No Long Lines For Checking Out, Prices Are Comparable With Other Super Markets In The Area/Baton Rouge & Denham Springs, LA. One Of My Favorite Supermarket's To Shop At. Wow! I ordered lunch for the whole company today. 139 BBQ leg quarter plates. They were perfect! Justin and they the whole Deli staff were so friendly. They knew exactly what order was mine and already had it loaded up when we arrived. Justin took it out to our truck and helped our guys load it. Food quality and portion size were perfect! A good place for local shopping. They have a good selection of foods fresh and frozen, and alcohols. The beer selection is particularly good. Only negative is that they seem to overwhelmingly employee minors. This is fine for most things, but many cashiers can't check out alcohol or tobacco products. Outstanding Bakery.

Oakpoint is always on point for everything especially their deli and salad bar areas. Prices for grocery are very competitive with other similar stores as well as Walmart. The quality of items are far better than other stores. This is overall my favorite store.
