Had lunch here with my family. We ordered sausage creole, smothered steak, and a grilled chicken salad. All the plate lunches came with salad and smothered green beans. The smothered green beans were extremely sweet and ruined my dish in my opinion. The sauce piquant on my sausage creole was also sweet, rendering my dish non-palatable. The smothered steak was just a beef stew with a tough cut. The chicken salad was a chopped iceberg. Service was good, atmosphere felt welcoming.

When you walk in the door to Brent’s, you immediately feel at home. Brent and his wife worked their way throughout the entire restaurant visiting with each table, making sure their food was good and that their bellies were full. The food was phenomenal, the restaurant was so cute and the staff was amazing.

Mr. Brent was awesome and patient in the planning process of my wedding. For the wedding itself, his staff were respectful and professional. I also still get told that we had "the best wedding food ever". Highly recommend!

We had heard great things about Brent's Friday night buffet do we tried it tonight. What a treat! The food was well prepared and delicious. The quality of the food on the buffet was incredible. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and definitely a do again.

To salty they use the same seasonings in the graves and it taste all the same. The rice was hard and would break a tooth if not careful. Prime rib was on point. Fried shrimp and fish were also on point. For the price they need to at least have waiters to refill drinks. $85-90 for 3 ppl is to hi for no service at all.

The banging shrimp, either as a poboy or a salad. All of the food is freshly prepared and well seasoned. The atmosphere is also great. The is like setting across from the restaurant makes for a pleasant background for your lunch it Friday night dinner.

Mais, da smothered pork was Tander, Tander, Tander. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great lunch experience! I highly recommend this place for great plate lunches. Also thier Prailines are off the chain and 2 for $3 at that!

This is an old people eating place.. was a little pricey for the amount of food that you get. Need some more rice with the gumbo..
