I am thankful that there are more options in Gonzales than here. If my only options were to use this pharmacy or to drive to Baton Rouge I would drive to Baton Rouge. Some highlights:-Notified by phone call, email, and text message that a medicine is ready. Show up and the staff tells me I have no medication. After arguing for five minutes, I am told "Oh I messed up" and then gives me my medication. This has happened 3 times.-Never notified if a medication is kicked back by insurance. When I do try to get details, I am told that they never got the prescription. I have to tell them check again, and only then do they give me details. This has happened twice.-The slowest pharmacy you could possibly use IF they get stuff right.If you rely on this pharmacy to keep you alive, get your affairs in order.

Pharmacy service is just sooooo slow. Drive-thru or inside. Nothing like waiting 15+ minutes with a sick crying baby. I’ve had this experience multiple times. The pharmacy needs to look at how to make things more efficient.I do like the text reminders and refill options. I usually use the free 2d delivery options to avoid having to wait in line. But my last order never got picked up my FedEx. It had been over a week and I still hadn’t rec’d meds or a call from pharmacy telling me.

I would recommend not buying any food here. I went to grab a couple little things I needed because it was closer than Walmart, the eggs were expired by almost a week (I checked before I bought them thankfully), and the spreadable cream cheese was the consistency of water and smelled off which makes me think things weren’t properly stored before being put out considering it wasn’t supposed to expire for a couple months

Pharmacy staff is such a joke here. The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism will make you want to go out of your way to get your medicine from a different Walgreens/Pharmacy. :(

Pharmacy is slow but that’s mostly because of the after work rush. The cashier at the front of the store is very sweet everytime I see her and the store is very clean.

If your employees are going to closed 8-10 mins before closing as a customer I should be aware. This’s the second time this happened to me. Date 11/23 closed at 11:51

This pharmacy is a joke… the pharmacist has a sense of humor equivalent to a stick in the mud. Lack of communication, no people skills whatsoever, some of the staff are ok… they just lack professionalism ALOT!

The store part is ok. Prices are higher than average but they have really good mark downs & weekly sales. They have a large cosmetic section & their high end cologne & perfume are priced great. The pharmacy I had to stop using. The wait got to be too much & there was always it seemed to be an issue with my prescriptions that were not an issue elsewhere.

After scheduling an appointment for a Covid 19 booster several days in advance. I took time off of work and drive across town for my appointment. Only to be told when I arrived that they were out of vaccines. They have all my contact information and could have easily sent me a message to cancel my appointment but instead I was told they don’t do that. This is the worst customer service I have encountered in many years!

Literally the worst pharmacy experience I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, it wasn't a one off. Shame on me. They seemingly choose the least qualified person in the building to interact with customers to handle those tasks.

Literally the worst Walgreens I have ever been to- specifically the pharmacy. The technicians were extremely unprofessional. My husband and I arrived there five minutes prior to close and they refused to give me my medicine stating “their systems shut down automatically” I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. GET YOUR MEDICATION FILLED SOMEWHERE ELSE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

The worst Pharmacy staff eveeeer. The pharmacy techs are unprofessional and unethical. They are so ignorant and do not explain your meds. I’ve never experience this type of behavior from “pharmacy techs”. I guess they give out degrees/certificates to anybody with a pulse now a days. Walgreens need to give “EVERYONE” a customer service workshop because they are lacking their social skills and properly greeting customers. Pharmacy department should not be exempt because they represent the company as whole. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy department. It’s worth going near airline hwy or near prairieville.

This store is steadily making covid testing appointments even though they are in fact NOT doing them and after finding this out after driving over an hour and a half there, I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes all to find this out. I even got a confirmation email and everything lmaoooo. It obviously wasn’t enough for that to happen, but the lady working the drive thru was probably the rudest worker I’ve ever come across in any walgreens also. In conclusion, corporate for this store needs to get their act together or come up with ways to repay the customers, along with hiring new workers or correcting their current ones.

I know most Walgreens are awful, but this one in particular is the worst. Specifically the pharmacy techs. They are always so rude and have no customer service skills. I finally made the decision to support a local pharmacy instead of Walgreens and I was shocked by the difference. I will never use a Walgreens again! Do yourself a favor and support local.

Absolutely horrible service. Ordered a BOGO mousepad before Christmas on the 18th as a present. It is now Jan 8th and the order said still in progress. Called and the manager told me that I would have to cancel the order and reorder it (pay full price) or just not worry about it and cancel it all together because their computers only hold orders for a week. I asked if I reordered them would they approve the BOGO still and she refused to do it. Literally worse customer service especially from a “manager” who should have authority to fix situations like this. Get better managers please! 🙄

The experience I had today wasn't bad. It could have been a tad better, but the Pharmacist saved the day. I called around for a particular med that was out of stock at the other pharmacy I frequent. The pharmacies don't see each other's inventory, I was told, so be prepared to call whichever pharmacy you'd like to visit. I reached a lady on the phone who said they had what I needed and it would be ready in 15 mins. Afterwards, I went over to the pharmacy but for some reason, it wasn't attached to my profile. But the pharmacist quickly put it together in under a minute, and I was on my way. He was very pleasant, helpful, and quick. This is how I like to do business.

Been on line for over an hour to get a prescription. Thought the drive through pick up was for pick up only? I’ve been five cars away from the window for 15 minutes without movement. This place is joke. You could have trained kittens do a better job at this Cobb house.

We get hassled and lied to about our RXs Every. Single. Time. If they don’t feel like filling something, we’re given a litany if excuses ranging from approval paperwork not being sent over by our doctor, doctor not approving the refill, insurance not covering the medication... and so on and so on. None of it has ever checked out when we spoke with the other party. It would be more believable (as an error or miscommunication, at least) if they would bother to stick to the same story on the same day. And they could care less if you need the medication for a sick infant. Terrible customer service!

If I could rate this Walgreen at a negative number I would . It is absolutely the slowest Walgreen or for that matter ,pharmacy I have ever been to. I waited in the drive through for 45 min and was only behind 4 cars. I have been inside to pick up a prescription & it is worse. It must be very poor management hiring vary poor help !!!

Tried asking an associate who was stocking, where children’s Tylenol was and she proceeded to tell me by the pharmacy. Her response was rude and abrupt. I asked where by the pharmacy because I couldn’t find it and she turned around and repeated that it was by the pharmacy. I said ma’am I’m sorry but I can’t find it and she glared at me and silently stomped over to the pharmacy and pointed at it and walked away. Thanks for the customer service, I really deserved that.

Went through the drive-thru to get bandaids bc my toddler fell asleep. The lady said she couldn’t help me, that I needed to download the app. I would understand if I had a whole shopping list however, I just needed bandaids. The website says you can use the drive-thru for over the counter needs. Would have taken her less than a minute. Customer service seems to mean nothing anymore, gotta have an app for that too I guess.

My doctor called in a prescription for my son. When I showed up they told me it would be 3 hours. Cool. Showed up 4 hours later and they told me it would be about an hour. After about 45 minutes, was told they were out of his medicine and to come back tomorrow. I called the pharmacy down the street (Cooper’s) and they had the medicine. By the time I got there, less than 10 minutes, they had it ready!! Sorry Walgreen’s NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Pharmacy is uncooperative, rude, and careless. Refuse to fill critical medication due to "shortages", yet every other pharmacy has plenty in stock. Avoid this place if you can!

Pharmacy staff members have terrible attitudes. I’ve filled my medication here for the past 5 months because the location is closest is to my home. But the negativity today was so unacceptable that I got back in my car and drove several miles out of my way to come to a different Walgreens. I will never go back to the Hwy 30 location again.

Online it states they open at 7am. Upon arrival I saw a sign that stated they open at 9am. This didn't bother me too much so I just decided to wait until their opening at 9am. I showed up a bit early, and waited around until 9:06am when they finally opened up the window. It wasn't until 9:15am when I finally received the medication. This service was horrible and unprofessional.

I put my husbands disposable camera in to get his pictures developed.they told me January 5 to picked up.i come January 5 and they never sent them off.so I get a new date which is January 13.i come January 15 and they still not there.they then tell me its a third party that does them.well what the hell is taking so Longo dont understand this.its been almost a month.i would like a supervisor or store owner to call me about this.

Worst service ever. Seems noone cares. I couldn't get a script filled and they never told me that they could not fill it after I contacted insurance and the doctor. I was left hanging with no information about the script. After they wouldn't fill it, then they wouldn't release my script to another pharmacy that would. I will not get another script filled there.

Went there at 11:45 to get something I really needed for a sick pet and they were CLOSED. Person sweeping saw me standing at the locked door and walked away!! Not happy!
