Usually would give a better review because I love Sonic. But the last few time of going was not good. The order was right on the screen but wrong in the bag when we got home. I should have checked before we left but in previous visits it's never been an issue so I just didn't think to do so but I will from now on. The 2 correct things in the bag were the double bacon cheese burger and the 2 corn dogs. The corn dogs were good but the burger was so dry. It happens, not everything is always perfect so I will still try but if the quality continues I'll probably take a break. That being said the staff are very friendly and sweet

Came to this location to eat for the first time in years. Haven't eaten at sonic since I worked at a location in Livingston so I wanted some.I ordered 3 different burgers, med Fry. Med. Drink, And an order Mozz Sticks. That was supposed to be the whole order. The guy taking my order was rude, obviously tired from the day but its still your job to take my FULL order. I was rang up for a med. Mozzarella stick, 2 Burgers, Med. Drink, and a Med. Jumbo popcorn chicken. I tried to correct it, He cut me off halfway and submitted the order and gave me the total even though I said I wasn't done with my order and needed it fixed. so I waited till the carhop came so I could explain the situation.Surprise surprise, the same carhop took my order. He got mad when I explained the situation, told him I wasn't done ordering, and I told him I wanted the manager to get it resolved. More attitude and I didn't care to be a part of it because I know the process, I previously worked for sonic. So I told the guy don't worry about it I just want my mozzarella Sticks and drink. A different worker (I'm assuming a shift lead or manager) brought me my items. I payed and left angry. :)

This is not our local Sonic but we were in the area and wanted some snacks. This Sonic provided exceptional service!! Im not sure if the same person took our order, than who brought it out, but they got everything right, the first time; even the specific requests we made. I was reading the screen to make sure. The food didnt take long to come out eventhough most car stalls were occupied (i.e. it was pretty busy). I would say we got our order in less than 10mins, maybe even 5mins. I honestly was not counting because I already had it in my head that we would be waiting a good while. Thats how it is at our local Sonic in Houma, even when its not occupied. Dalton, our carhop, was very professional and pleasant. He repeated our order for us to make sure they got everything correct, which they did!! I am the type that checks our order before leaving. Not only was all our food there, but all of our dipping sauces, straws, and spoon were there too. They even made sure we had napkins. I was definitely pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to ask for anything because nothing was missing. At our local Sonic we are usually missing one thing or another. Dalton also told us about a giveway. Again, this is not our local Sonic so we wont be able to participate but, if we're ever in the area, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for such a great experience. Wish we had yall as our local Sonic.

Our food is always good, and milkshakes even better. There are a few excellent carhops. Convenient location and speed of service are a plus. The only negatives are the almost daily change of hours that they're open, and the few bad attitude employees.

Should have been 5 star but it was simply a new employee taking our order...and with the drink selection it's probably overwhelming to get tossed in to but the man did great... 4 and3/4 stars is the real rating. Can you say that about the king or wac arnolds?

First time coming to this location yesterday for lunch and it was alright, not the greatest but it’ll make doable. Food wasn’t hot and found that unbelievable being it was slap dab in middle of lunch rush hour. I can say the chocolate shake I had ordered with my meal was really great 🤩 other than the food not being somewhat warm the employees are super nice and friendly.

Sonic is hardly ever a bad choice for a person to get a quick bite to eat or one of the many drinks and treats that is offered. However, this location seems to be very busy all though the day and it looks like a bee's nest at lunch and in the evening from 3 to around 7. My Aunt and I went around 1345 hrs (1:45 pm for normal people) and we ordered 2 peach flavored teas, which were very good, and it took about 8 to 10 minutes to fill our order. So if you find you have to wait a little longer than you wanted just have patience and meditate the wait is worth it. I think 10 minutes is fast and it gives just enough time to turn off any devices, have a good prayer, meditate or actually talk to your family or friend(s) in the vehicle.I did not give 5 stars because if one is going south on airline and passes the restaurant up it is a difficult to turn around and get back to the drive in if they do not know the way around town.

Forgot my wallet and had to set up sonic pay. Had to get help from manager. After that they got us fresh food. Excellent customer service. Sharon is the best manager I’ve seen in a while. Kevin helped out also and did a fantastic job. Too bad I don’t live near here because I would definitely come back to this location.

Every time I come to the Sonic in Gonzales the milkshakes are never full and usually melted. The service is quick, but what good is fast service when the product is always poor quality? The Highway 42 location has great service and quality food drinks. The Gonzales staff could learn something from them.

if you want a chocolate shake from this place, it is not in their plain of reality.. you can ask for it, pay for it, and even see it on the screen.. but you will be robbed of any chocolate in your shake. they stole my money. chicken was just ok, so 2 star..

I’m giving 4 stars because I genuinely love sonic. I’ve been a fan and faithful customer all my life but as of late, every time I’ve ordered my favorite” foot long chili cheese coney” I’ve been given little to no chili or cheese. Please more chili and cheese. THANKS...!

Excellent services and fast. The food was delicious... i couldn't take a pic. My kids had a combo #1 is a cheese burger and chilli cheese fries and my other kid had combo #7 the footlong chilli cheese hotdog with regular fries. They love it and i had the ched R' jalapeños (super delicious). I Highly recommend those.

Worse service ever... My card was declined and my bank would not let it go through because they have a high fraud rate (is what bank said) I paid with cash... My food was messed up sent it back waited for 10mins called back in to check on it. They brought it out and it was cold. I will never come to this Sonic again. The owners should be ashamed.

Me and my family got $40 of food from here and 90% of the order wrong. The girl helping us did not repeat the order and did not give a total at the time of the ordering being. Ordered Dr Pepper and got yea. Ordered chilli cheese tots with onions and got no onions. Ordered bacon cheeseburger and got a regular cheese burger. Ordered shake and a sundae and got 2 sonic blasts. The employee did not make me feel like I was paying for service. Please learn to train your employees. I was a general manager for Domino's pizza and I always made sure my employees read the order back as well as confirming each item with them upon pickup. We had to look separately while the car hop just stared at us.
