Get all the supplements you need here. They research all the ingredients before selling anything in the store. The energy drinks might be the only sketchy thing in the store. They have groceries in the back. Try the comfrey and tumeric for pain. It works for me. Always a good encounter with the staff. They also do point on how much you spend. Will save you money in the long run. Just go already!

Store has a large variety of health supplements and other products. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly!I am so appreciative of the assistance that I receive when I go to this health food store. I told the young gentleman what I was looking for and he brought me to the product and gave me a full explanation of the ingredients and benefits.Great job!

The staff is AMAZING and so extremely knowledgeable. I could walk in with any problem in the world and they would be able to assist me. They have a great selection of vitamins/supplements, essential oils, bath products, food, protein shakes, CBD oil... the list goes on! Such a great mom and pop shop!

This store always has whatever vitamin I need/want. On the very rare occasion that they don't, they are more than happy to order it for me. The staff are very knowledgeable about all the different vitamins and herbs. Definitely worth checking out.

BEWARE OF EXPIRED PRODUCTS! Originally purchased a bottle of Vitamin C from here on 1/29/18. When I got home, I noticed that the expiration is 1/18. Returned to the store the very next day to hopefully grab another bottle, but they were out. Store doesn't issue refunds only store credit. Because I shop there occasionally, I knew I would loose the "credit" card that was given to me. I ended up purchasing stuff I didn't need just to use up the credit. Left 4 cents in their system as well. I had to spend more money to purchase Vitamin C from a different store. This was my last visit to the Horn of Plenty. In the future, I will shop stores with a better return policy... and double check expiration dates....

The closest thing Gonzales, LA has to a Whole Foods and the owner is very knowledgeable and very accommodating. If they do not have something you want, she will order it. If you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerant/or even paleo, you will want to check out Horn of Plenty. It saves me a trip to Whole Foods on a lot of items. My only complaint would be that I wish she would expand and possibly open up a larger location.
