Very pleasant experience the male employee checking our water in the self checkout was very friendly and not pushy or rude like most stores. I don't usually do reviews on wal mart when I check out my stuff myself, but he made it great. Wish I new his name.

My wife was belittled for her race she is from the Philippines whe been married almost 18 yrs now but the cashier was rude and. Didn't know how do her job my wife was very upset and made a complaint but I will fallow up with corporate for her racist remarks! But sure nothing will be done!

This location is void of cashiers except for the alcohol and tobacco area. There seem to be more employees taking inventory off the shelf for deliveries and pickup than anything else. You're better off checking the Walmart app to find where the product you need is located than asking. My assumption is that the tablet the employees use to pull items for orders tells them the product location as neither person I asked was able to tell me where the butchers rope was located. One actually guided me to the hardware section thinking I meant that I needed pull string to run in my attic despite informing her that it was for steak.

Horrible! I went to the Auto Don't Care Center on Tuesday, 2 January 2024 in the early afternoon. The masked woman, who's name tag was not visible, was immediately hostile and could not have been uglier. I asked her reasonable questions when I arrived, such as a request for an estimated wait time. At this, she immediately threw her hands up in apparent disgust and angrily exclaimed, "I have no idea!" This bizarre interchange continued with every word I spoke. Obviously, my patronage was truly annoying to her.Trying to keep my cool and get the oil change I needed, I did all I could to de-escalate her crazy, hostile demeanor. As things progressed she told me I had to go out "the door" to take her to my car because she had to see my car and odometer. When I gestured toward one of the two doors, with contempt and clear condescension, she stated "YOU GO OUT THAT DOOR!' talking to me like i am an idiot. This continued to my car and then back into the store.I got sick of it and stated, "Is there a problem?" She remained hostile and demanded to know if I had a problem. I said, "You are taking down to me and you know you are." I stated, "If this continues we can just go see the manager." She then blurter out, “HOW OLD ARE YOU?” I said, “Im 58.” I then asked her age. She said she was 55. (I think she thought I was younger than her.) Finally, the PAINSTAKING process finished but I still had NO CLUE as to an approximate wait time, as I didn't have all day. Another worker eventually came into the area and I asked him for a wait time. He was MUCH MORE polite and cordial, but then again your average rabid dog would be more polite than this lunatic.Thinking through the situation, and with the other worker's help/ estimate, it appeared as though I was looking at a minimum of 2 hours and maybe more. As the overall climate of the area was creepy and hostile, I decided to find another place. In this case 3T oil change in Cut Off, where they were POLITE, PROFESSIONAL and FAST.Unfortunately, it was impossible to get away from the WallMart Auto Don't Care Center without asking this crazy person for my keys back. As calmly and politely as possible, I told her I was going to take a rain check and move along. CLEARLY UPSET, AGAIN, she told me she would meet me by my car. We went to the car and she handed my my key. I said "thank you," politely. She said nothing and abruptly turned away. I stated for her, "you're welcome. Have a nice day."I then proceeded to 3T Oil Change in Cut Off where I was professionally and politely greeted. There was plenty of seating in their waiting area and the lady at the desk was nice. I used that opportunity to call WallMart and ask to speak to the senior manager. I got a lady (I believe her name was Angela), who said she was the only manager on duty at that time. I told her my story. I said, "I could be wrong, but I am guessing that WallMart doesn't teach its employees to treat its customers like dirt." She responded politely enough and was conciliatory. She said she would talk with this person. I requested a follow up call the next day. I never heard back from her.The experience was so bad I also called my wife who spoke to her mom (who lives in Golden Meadow). Her mother said, "OH YEAH! THAT WOMAN IS ALWAYS LIKE THAT." This tells me that this kook gets her jollies treating people like dirt and WALLMART knows all about it. It's what I suspected from the time I spoke to the "manager" on duty. They know. They just don't care. One generation ago, this nut job would have been fired on the spot and possibly taken away in a strait jacket. But today, her managers protect her. I believe her muzzle, although very possibly needed in her case (to prevent biting and other rabid activity such as foaming at the mouth), is probably depriving her brain of badly needed oxygen.

It's a Wal-Mart. It's not the largest selection of things, but it is definitely a full-size Wal-Mart. What I most appreciated was the care, accuracy, and efficiency of orders placed online.

This area was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Ida. The store is not at its full operational times yet and is under light construction so there may be some items you can't get to right now but ask a store associate and they will be more than happy to help you. Everyone is nice. The store and bathrooms are clean.

Came to get new tires installed. Took about three hours. The person doing the work looked like he had not one care in the world, moving in slow motion . Three hours. That's 45 minutes per tire. Never seen anything like it. Never coming back here for service.

Absolutely abhorrent the pharmacy will not fill your order unless you harass them. When you order something online for pick up expect a long wait. I've spent twenty minutes looking for an item as workers are just walking bye. Never asked to help once. If you don't want to have one of the worst shopping experiences in your life don't shophere.

I gave two stars because they were polite but my frustration was that they "can't" sell less than six wings when I only wanted four.. I would have been ok with it if I could have mixed n matched but then they said I couldn't do that either... also on top of that they were moving really slow for having three people waiting to be asked/served, one lady was attending to the hot food while the other lady didn't look in our direction as she was busy do8ng something and not multitasking.. they need at least one younger person in that area in the daytime to move things along faster and again the lady seemed very polite so this isn't a personal grievance

I go here often to get groceries, dog food and great value products. They’re too expensive to buy everything I need. The associates are very polite. Some down sides are that the app seems outdated, they don’t have things on there that I know are in store so I never do mobile orders. For a while the meat section has been pretty bare, the options that are usually left are either too expensive, not enough food for the price, or will only have select products available. I hope it gets better for the communities sake. You have to keep in mind this is the only Walmart until you get to Raceland.

Great would be better if they stocked more banquet turkey breakfast sausages for people who can't eat pork due to allergies or religious reasons (I'm allergic) there's always some sales of clearance items to be found when I was there I saw make up and desserts on the karts for clearance some times they even have coffee or hair products like straightners or curlers on decent sales. Check it out once or twice a week to make sure to catch the sale items.

Customers work harder than employees.. and employees watch you scan your stuff which will say you're stealing if you don't correctly scan something but won't tell u if you scanned something twice... bc you have to scan your own groceries 98% of the time...Smdh..

I mean for the most part Walmart is Walmart it's got everything you need and if you unsure just go on the Walmart app first and see if they got whatever you looking for in stock. Except for the prices going up it's not that bad. Oh one thing I want to say is I'm at Walmart plus member and you can't do the scan and go in that Walmart for some reason I don't know why but you can't
