Bird food selection is great too! We love going here!! We bought a blue Quaker from here and he is the sweetest baby! The backpacks are TOOOO cute!

I love this place! I bought my girl here a while ago. Everyone was very informed about bird care and all the baby's where very healthy. My girl is thriving and happy. If your looking to buy a bird or bird items I really recommend this place. The lady was super helpful and even stayed on the phone with my father so he could find the place. It's hard to fine a good bird breeder/store where I live so I'm so happy I found them!

Miss Lisa is so accommodating! She has helped me with any challenges I have faced as a bird mom, she is knowledgeable and sooo good with the birds! She has a wonderful selection of birds and supplies and they are so well cared for! I highly recommend this shop, especially if you want knowledge, healthy birds, hand selected foods for your birds, education on the bird you choose, and continued care and concern with each visit! You can’t ask for more!

We went there because it was the only local bird specialty shop I could find. The birds wings were clipped (which I don't agree with) but his nails were horribly long, and he was actually missing a nail on one toe. The lady was nice while we were there, once we left and I called with questions I got a completely different attitude. We were going to purchase another parakeet from her so that mine would have a friend. I was told to call back today. She was abrupt and kept changing the prices of the birds. $30, $60, $80, $100 for the same bird. She has a really cool store, but we won't go back. I will go get my additional budgie somewhere else. I called a few times, every time I called you gave different prices. I even had someone else call and you did the same thing.Update; We went to Petsmart for our 2nd baby and had an amazingly better time. The birds still had their wings in tact. The bird I got from you kept trying to fly and it was so sad. I checked with a vet who said that you cut his wings way too short. His toenail was missing completely. Sad.The light blue bird on the bottom is the one I bought from her that she butchered the wings. Look at the comparison of the parakeet that I got at petsmart yesterday. Ridiculous.

Mrs. Lisa is amazing with birds and has a ture talent with them! She has allways gone above and beyond to help me with my Beautiful birds I have gotten from her. The thing I respect the most is she truly cares who her birds go to she wants to make sure they are going to a good home and is not just worried about makeing money. I would not buy a bird from anyone else!

I was so undecided about what I wanted. After my third time, I decided to get this young male Cockatiel that we named Chimey. This place is the place to get your bird, bird food, bird toys, and bird cages. Anything dealing with birds this is the place. Ms. Lisa is very knowledgeable about each bird as well as the other lady(I forgot her name).

New bird owner here, and I cannot recommend Bayouabird highly enough. Lisa and her staff were very welcoming, passionate about what they do and were patient with us and very happy to answer all the endless questions we had during the time we were doing our research. We learned a great deal of valuable information about a variety of parrot species, diet and general care. The selection of toys for large and small birds alike including the ones Lisa makes herself are of great quality and variety and our bird loves tearing into them. The variety of seed and pellet mixes tailored to each type of bird in addition to high quality brands, dried fruits and vegetable mixes. We purchased a hand fed, 6-month old cockatiel and you can really tell he has been worked with thoroughly and is comfortable with stepping up and resting on our hands. My wife and I are very excited to take care of the newest feathered member of our family and feel we have been set up for success by Bayouabird to provide the best life possible for this little guy. We will be coming back for all our bird essentials for sure!

Mrs. Lisa is not only very knowledgeable about birds but she is truly a wonderful, sweet, and good hearted person. She is always willing to answer any questions and offer advice for any issues you may be dealing with. Her birds are healthy, well socialized and have wonderful little personalities due to the fact she puts so much time in handling them. She has every you could possibly need your your bird. Very cool pet store with a focus on birds, and she does a great job breeding and hand-raising her babies. She's a very responsible seller and won't let you just come in and buy a bird without knowing that bird is a fit for you and that it's ready to go home. We lucked up and got a very sweet blue quaker girl that someone else backed out on. Her name is Iris and we love her already!

This is such a great shop with such a cool owner. I wish I lived closer so I could spend all my money there. We got a baby parakeet to be friends with our other baby. He is so tame and sweet and patient with his feisty partner. We can’t wait to add a cockatiel to the family to complete our flock. :-)

Lisa is the most knowledgeable and knows anything you could ask her about birds , even if she does not have one in her shop at the present time. She will explain anything you need to know from what type of bird would be good for you to the best food to feed them, which she has in her store . We have owned bird for years and find she is the best in her business Her store is a one stop shop for anything you need at a very reasonable price. I will never go anywhere else. Ms. Lisa is the most amazing person who has given her everything to the birds she cares for and sells. Even in the hurricanes she sleeps there and she protects those babies. The food she has, is the only food my two cockatiels eat. They absolutely love it! The two that I have I purchased from ms lisa and I will never go anywhere else, they are healthy, wonderful and loving. In the last 2 years I’ve gone to her she has upgraded and made so many amazing changes with her buisness. The new store is wonderful and so clean! The absolute best bird store I’ve ever been to. Expert advice. The best birds, cages food and toys I’ve ever seen curated in one place. The owner REALLY cares about the birds and her products. She’s ethical and seems to keep long term customer relationships. I’m new to coming to this store but I’ll be getting absolutely everything I need from here and never order from Amazon again. Biggest plus- she introduces you to the birds! She’s so knowledgeable and her birds seem well socialized
