I understand now why places (restaurants in particular) don't last in Alexandria....the people who leave such terrible reviews about their "feelings" irk my soul. I gave 5 stars just for that.I've only come here a handful of times but your coffee is equal to any other coffee place in this town. Service is delightful and prompt. And i absolutrly love the croissants!My only critique was that when I came in and sat for a little, the manager (a lady) was quite abrasive and verbally unkind to the staff....should not occur in front of customers....if there is an issue with staff...please call them to the back and have the discussion there. Micromanaging will cause good employees to quit and you will wonder why turnover is so high. It's rarely the staff....almost always management.But overall I had a good experience and would recommend anyone to try it.

I am excited to have this coffee shop that includes a drive thru in this part of Alexandria. I use it frequently and love their shaken espresso and sweet treats. The staff is always nice and have sugar free options that suit my liking. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: I need sugar free options and they have plenty!!

We had to wait for them to open. Arrived at 5 a.m., but they were closed, which surprised me bc they are a coffee house. They don't open until 5:30 am.Then my husband went in to order, we were the 1st there, & 2 other cars went thru drive-thru & my husband came out way after the 2 vehicles had already left the drive-thru. I know drive thru times are faster & coffee takes a bit to make but it was quite a big difference in time.Ordered a mocha velvet ice w shot of espresso. The prices on the drive-thru menu were not correct (we were going thru the drive-thru until we found out it wasn't opened) bc they charged us more for the espresso shot than was posted.Just a small w the shot was almost $9. I got mocha bc depending on the place, caramel can be too sweet & depending on the place, espresso shots may not be that strong. Well, let me tell you, that was not the case. Their coffee is strong, which is good, but my drink was very bitter. I'm not complaining about that, it was my 1st time here so I'll just know next time I order bc baby, they don't play w their coffee!

Awesome food, great coffee and beignets, and most importantly, Amazing customer service. Placed a last minute, late night 10g coffee order and they worked with me to get it done and put to the airfield on time. Great and friendly staff every time we have come in and very friendly to the local military members. Could not recommend them enough! Thank you for all your guys hard work.

If there was a 6th star, I’d click it…… just stopped for the first time. I’ve seen them building it, and saw it was finally opened! The (drop dead gorgeous) lady who served me was 10/10 across the board! I let her choose what I wanted because I’ve never been there. She chose the vanilla (something else) frappe drink and a spinach scone!Bruh…….. %#^*%+% AMAZING!!!Definitely going to make this place a semi-daily pit stop….. thanks you guys for something new. Getting tired of the same old food every day. So it was refreshing to come to you guys and find such a great place to eat and get my coffee!!

My husband and I visit this place when we are in town and love it. Stopped by today and was greeted by a sweet new face. However the whole time she was taking our order, this other employee (Smanvie or Samvie) would interrupt her or us to degrade or talk down on the girl getting our order about how she’s doing stuff wrong. Which made the girl and my husband and I all upset and uncomfortable. We left immediately. Get better training for your staff. They are humans too.

The coffee is okay, not worth the price (I don't recommend the king cake blend - has an unnatural flavor). The staff is friendly but not well managed. Very disorganized and slow. They did not allow us to use our own cups to-go. The bathroom was quite dirty. There was very limited parking and a lot was filled even though there was only one other customer inside. All in all, I would recommend finding a different place to get your coffee.

The staff were all friendly from the minute we walked into the store. They all moved with efficiency and positive attitudes, even though they had an early morning rush of people. Our drinks were perfect and we got a slice of king cake- delish!! The manager visited with us and she was very nice. We are so excited to have this store in Alexandria and hope they open a location in Pineville next!Kid-friendliness: There's a small patio for outdoor seating, but it's not completely fenced in so you'll have to keep a close eye on small kids, due to the drive thru and parking lot traffic. There are comfortable seating options inside like couches and stools.**The bathrooms do not have a changing table.**The cake balls would be a good treat for kids and they can make caffeine free drinks. Would be nice if they add applesauce pouches to the menu. They also have a community board near the bathrooms where you can find out about local events, a lot of which are kid friendly.

i used to work here and the environment is so bad. I went back twice and they act like they don't want you to work there. The owners are immature, there's no good work ethic, they spy on you with their surveillance cameras and microphones when you're trying to work, and I still haven't gotten my paycheck, despite working there two times.

Such a wonderful experience!I have enjoyed their beignets, flavorful green tea mojito and outstanding service. The welcoming ambience and overall service is delightful and always appreciated. Receiving my order from the drive thru, by the owner of the establishment- who was sure I enjoyed my drink before leaving, was the kindest gesture. I highly recommend visiting PJ’s Coffee soon if you haven’t.

I paid $8 for this drink and it wasn’t made right. Also, they were advertising a free beignet and I did not receive one. (I do understand today was their first day open, but there was only one person in front of me and only 2 cars behind me.) I’ll try again in a couple weeks. The person working the window was very sweet though!

Incredible drinks and better than cafe de monde beignets and im picky with my beignets!! The staff is soooo sweet. The manager especially. Even in morning rush felt like she cared that we have a good experience. Will definitely be a regular. Saw Manager being nice to the staff which is rare these days.Came in again today. Best coffee shop ever! Maybe not ever but definitely around here. It’s delicious coffee. They had fall drinks out. Great coffee and super fast service.Pet friendly - They have a beautiful outdoor patio

Great experience on my first trip to the new coffee shop. I'm not a huge coffee guy so I really wasn't sure what I should get. Samantha helped me decide on the Iced Latte after I explained what I generally like. Great service, great coffee, and everyone was super nice and polite. Definitely will recommend it to my friends and family!

I love this little coffee shop. It’s conveniently located and my coffee beverage is always delicious. Consistency is very important to me. I like all of the flavor options to choose from and the breakfast menu items specifically the bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese. It is a bit pricey but the coffee is good and I know I’ll get a high quality, well crafted beverage. Beignets are yummy (expect a little wait when you order these) and the service is always superb. I typically go through the drive thru but my boyfriend and I sat in the shop one afternoon and enjoyed a little coffee date. Atmosphere and staff were just as friendly and amazing as they are in drive thru. I am so happy this place opened up and it is definitely a gem to me in this town!

Lively atmosphere with chic and cozy decor. Our coffee was delicious! Definitely recommend adding espresso shots for a stronger coffee flavor. The owner and manager both stopped by to offer us free beignets for their grand opening! Very friendly and great service.
