I went to Rural King in Winchester this morning. I asked an employee for help he did not have the answer for me but immediately got someone that could help. While the second employee was looking for the product I had 2 more employees come over and ask if I needed help. As if that was not wonderful enough customer service (they found the product I was looking for) the front cashier saw I was behind one person and called me over so I didn't have any wait. I spoke with James the manager before I left because customer service that good needs rewarded. Thank you everyone at Rural King!

I really believe the employees need better training. When asking for products I was told that they had what I needed in stock, and as much as I needed. I spent over 400 dollars. Went outside to get the posts I needed just to have a guy walk as slow as possible inside and outside for the posts I needed and was told they didn’t have none… I got a refund but I think they need to hire more motivated employees.

Cashier upfront needs to learn how to count change back instead of handing back a wad of cash.Chicks and rabbit area looking rough, definitely not like last year.Out of my cat food brand.Feed in general for all poultry out.I used to like this store, think I'll just stick with TSC

Its a farm and hardware store. They have great price on there 24 pack spring water. We like the prices on the clothing and boots. Men's carpenter pants are just $11.99 a pair. Also they have a large stock of Sthil power equipment. We recommend you check it out.

A great place for supplies. This is one of the only places in the area that sells Hills Science Diet for my cat. It has a little of everything and the staff seems friendly.Be very wary of prices on the shelf as they are not always correct up front. For months some of the things I normally buy there are ringing up for much higher. They aren't keeping up with their shelf tags. In some ways this is nice but it makes it difficult to remember all the correct prices.

We take our dogs for exercise and socialization. A staff member asked to give them a pig ear each. Very nice of him to do that. The thought of a pig ear is a little gross, but the dogs have a favorite new treat!

Super friendly staff, great prices on feed and supplies, nearly every item always in stock. The associate is able to tell when the item will be back in stock, too.

As we refer to it here,tractor walmart. It's got just about anything you need and a few things you don't. I go through and check for sales every now and then. Sometimes get some really good deals.

If it was just a rude employee I'd leave a 3/5. It was the multiple dead chicks in one bin that drives home the one.Now I don't think there are a lot of requirements for a farm store, but I feel like getting corpses out of bins shouldn't need to be SAID. When I noticed, I immediately went to find an employee, a middle-aged man, whom, upon being asked it he worked there, sighed like I'd just personally caused him the greatest inconvenience of his life before asking 'can I HELP you?'I informed him of these dead chicks, and he went to take care of them, having to check multiple bins along the way. Is multiple unattended dead bodies just laying in these bins collecting flies a reoccurring issue for Rural King?Now I'm grown, and while I'm obviously disturbed by this disgusting display of negligence on the store's part, what if a child had found this? Do you want to be the parent explaining the concept of death to your toddler in a Rural King that can't even train its staff to be any modicum if polite?Furthermore, this is a danger to the health of any other animals in the store (including their rabbits whom were not only right on top of the chicks, but in filthy poop-encrusted cages) but to whole farmer's flocks. What if these cascades of dead chicks passed from a disease? Is this store planning to compensate this negligence when a local farm suddenly finds whole pins full of dead poultry? I'd say for shame, but I'd rather save my breath and call my local health department.

This store has a little bit of everything from plumbing parts to horse and pet food....or live chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Maybe the biggest problem is it stays SO busy it's difficult to keep it neat. That isn't much of a problem however. It's just a darn good store for rural or suburban living. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it! The free popcorn for shoppers is a delightful touch and marketing tool. My biggest negative is the slow pace at which they seem to restock. A good place to shop.The product diversity keeps improving. Restocking has improved of late. It's a good store with much to offer!Happy to have this store in the community.Addendum:Great products. Friendly people. Excellent diversity for DIY folks, farmers, homeowners...there's something for almost everyone!

It is a nice place to shop. I grew up on a farm and it takes me back. I have friend that works there and that is the main reason for my visit today. I had purchased a battery there and need ed an to exchange it because there was a problem with it. They had no problem exchanging today and I was very happy with the service and the ease of the exchange.

I went there to buy bleach. A lady that board's dogs told me it has the same ingredients that Clorax has. So I go back to get the bleach and it had two sighns with different prices on them. When I get up front it rang up the higher one. I explained to her about the signs and I didn't know which one was right. She honey you will get the lower one. She was so nice and friendly.Her name was Beverly. People like her will keep me coming back
