We brought our 100 lb Rottweiler in for a bath because we don't have a good way to bathe her in our RV.They did a fantastic job! Not only was she clean, but she doesn't shed anywhere close to the amount she has since we began our trip.I strongly recommend this facility and believe all their services will be professionally handled.

We boarded our four terrier mix dogs at Somerset Pet Lodge this weekend, and we were so impressed! Check-in and check-out was fast, friendly, and so convenient with the Sunday pick-up hours. The facility was very neat and clean, and really spacious. The staff seemed to genuinely care about us and our dogs, and went above and beyond by sending a follow-up note through the mail, which we received today! The pricing is competitive and fair with no hidden fees. If you get a chance to take a tour of the facility, do it! It will make you feel very happy and secure about boarding your four-legged family members at Somerset Pet Lodge. Definitely recommended and definitely boarding here again!

Any dog owner knows how difficult it is to find a groomer you can be 100% satisfied with. You always have to compromise. My terrier/schnauzer has never had a hair cut I've not regretted (usually because her nails are bleeding at some point after the appointment which over the years have scarred her, and it's sad)This literally was the first really great haircut that was evenly cut all over, and was near exactly what I wanted after the first visit. Her nails were not cut to short, and did not bleed. They were smooth and I was happy with the results. I loved the hair cut!!The groomers here have went to school for grooming and gotten a degree/license which most groomers do not have.Also, my Chloe cannot be in a cage she tries to dig herself out, cries the whole time, and hurts herself. The Somerset Pet Lodge do cage the dogs, but they worked with me, and did not cage her as long as I had her first in/first out which was great !! The staff are really friendly and understanding. I'd recommend everyone to go here.I'll definitely be taking her to this groomer from now on!

My dogs have terrible separation anxiety and have a hard time being away from us or apart from each other and the staff at Somerset pet lodge went out of their way to accommodate and comfort them. We are just here on vacation but I will definitely be using them again and wish there was a facility this nice where I live!

I could not in good faith recommend this facility to anyone. It cost me almost $70 for one night of boarding and my recently bathed dog came home smelling stongly like pee.My sister made a reservation for an overnight stay for both her dog and my dog in the same phone call. The drop off hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday - Saturday between 7:30 – 11am and the pick up hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday – Sunday between 3:30- 6:30pm. These are the only times the Pet Lodge allows pick ups or drop offs. The rates posted both in their facility and on their website are $32/day and $18/day for doggie day care.We dropped both dogs off together about 9am on Saturday morning during the posted drop off times and picked them both up on Sunday about 5pm during the posted pick up times. Based on the Pet Lodge’s policy there was no earlier time we could have picked them up.When we settled up our bills, I was charged $67.84 for one night of boarding! My sister was charged $59 for one night of boarding! When I questioned my bill, I was told she was charged the old rates and I was charged the new rates. Now keeping in mind the reservations for both dogs were made in the same phone call and the dogs were dropped off and picked up together, this makes absolutely no sense.In addition to being charged $67.84 for one night of boarding, when I got in the car with my dog, she had a strong smell of urine. She had been bathed and groomed within the last week and smelled fresh when she was dropped off so I have to question the cleanliness and conditions in which she was cared for.It is for these reasons that I do not recommend this facility.

We have taken our very energetic young lab here for over a year and she loves it! She is well taken care of and comes home happy and content. We take her for daycare a couple of times a week and have boarded her there as well. Everyone is very knowledgeable and can offer great training tips. The grooming services are top-notch, even for my big dog. I highly recommend going to The Pet Lodge!

The most amazing place for my dogs, Shotzie and Zuri were well taken care of, loved and integrated with other dogs. The staff is outstanding, couldn't ask for kinder and more loving people to care for " my babies" while away. My dogs love the staff, even hugged and kissed them before we left. This is a fantastic place to kennel your dog. Angela and Steve, the owners, are so friendly and they truly love dogs. My little dog loves to spend time there and I am very happy with the spacious kennel size, friendly staff, and personal attention that he gets when he is there.I have also used the grooming services here and both Jamie and Angela do a great job. My dog comes home smelling great with an even cut and a cute little bandana. I would highly recommend the Somerset Pet Lodge to any pet owner looking for a safe, fun environment to leave your dog while you're away.

Somerset Pet Lodge is beyond belief of any expectations. This location is beautiful with upstanding and loving staff. If you want a place where you do not want/need to worry about your dog baby.. THIS PLACE IS IT! With pictures and videos on a very regular basis(on Facebook). I find this place is ever more reliable. The groomers are very kind and super patient with my dog baby. The haircuts are very beautiful as well. I love this place! You and your dog will too!

The pet lodge is THE best place to take your furbabies. They will absolutely enjoy they're entire experience and make tons of new friends. You never have to worry, the staff is the best around and will take exceptional care of your pup. The facility is beautiful and in the perfect location. Not only do they offer doggy daycare, and overnight stays.. but also grooming! Pamper your pet and put them in the best hands. No other place can top somerset pet lodge. And that's a fact! ☺

Our dog loves Somerset Pet Lodge! At first I was nervous to try doggie daycare, but Ripley took to the staff immediately. As a matter of fact, he looks forward to it and gets disappointed if he doesn't get to go for whatever reason. He comes home at the end of each day of daycare TIRED from all the playing. The staff takes good care of him. They group the dogs according to size and sometimes personality, so it's comfortable for the dogs. I like knowing I can count on them for boarding if we have to be away, too.

Somerset Pet Lodge is a first class boarding, day care, and grooming facility. When we visit Angela and Steven in Somerset we insist on a trip to the "lodge". The guests (dogs) are always happy. There are spacious indoor and outdoor exercise areas and the accommodations are indeed luxurious. The staff are professional and courteous. We recommend it highly. Peggy and Andy

I booked my dog and my sister's dog during the same phone call. We dropped them off and picked them up at the same time. She was charged $69 for a one night stay while I was charged $59 for the same period of time due to a mistake made by the receptionist. In "SPL"s snippy, condescending reply to my sister's review {see Beth Memmer's review) she suggested I come pay the difference. I do not feel compelled to fix that mistake especially after her rude reply! Beth's claim is correct-the dogs were booked at the same time. We were both charged for 2 days of boarding although that was not the service provided. We received one day of boarding and 1 daycare. We could not pick our dogs up after 1 day of boarding because pick up is not available Sunday morning, so we picked them up Sunday afternoon when pick up was available. If I knew it would have cost the same, I would have picked her up Monday morning as I had an early appointment.As a registered nurse, I understand what can cause a strong urine odor. It may have been easier to understand if it was on the feet. However, I gagged when the dog put her head up to mine. It was on her head and neck at a minimum. I didn't want to smell her feet, too. I hope SPL is able to take these criticisms and use them to constructively improve the business. Customer service and communication of rates is very important to any business. My dog won't return.

Would give 10/10 stars if i could! when my 2 babies are here i know they are getting the best care possible! The staff is very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! Callie & Drew along with the other staff members have treated my babies like their own since day one! My babies absolutely love it here & are always wore out from playing, they have made so many friends since coming to SPL! I would never take them anywhere else! I just relocated to town and was referred by an employee of our Veterinarian Dr. Mullins. I am extremely happy with this facility. My sweet Riley is 16yrs old and has several health issues so naturally, initially I had concerns. They were completely unwarranted. They are patient, gentle, professional, animal lovers.Such a clean well run business. My precious boy looks adorable and was so content when I picked him up.I am truly grateful and I do believe, I have found the best groomers in Somerset Ky.Thank you,Carrie McNeal

These folks are awesome. My fur babies loved it. The prices are competitive and the staff has a true love for dogs. They were very accommodating when we needed to extend our pups stay. They even have lodging that will allow multiple dogs to stay together. This was important for me because one of my dogs has seperating anxiety if hes seperatex from his buddy. They posted pictures of our pets on facebook so we knew they were having a good time. I would highly recommend this company for all your pet lodging needs. They also do pet grooming but i have not used this service. Alsi be aware that your pet will need to be current on all their shots before they will allow you to drop them off. This is a standard practice for most pet lodges.

Somerset Pet Lodge is the best boarding and grooming facility in Somerset. Angela goes above and beyond for the care of my dog Mojo and the boarding area is state of the art. Never a disappointment from me! Thanks Angela and your staff for all you do!
