Went to purchase cough syrup for my daughter and stood at the self-checkout for 10 15 minutes with no one there, waiting for someone to approve my purchase. They were all putting up stock. Neither did they hear the alarm go off at self-checkout or me trying to get their attention. Had to walk over right next to the manager to ask her for help for she could even hear me. Finally got her attention and asked if I could check out. She simply stares at me and says, "Yes, you can check out," smiles and went back to putting away stuff. Told her that I'd been standing there for about 15 minutes and she said well I didn't know in a rude tone and return to work. No apology. No attempt to even try to make purchasing something a priority. Rudest staff I've ever seen. This is the third time I've had issues at this location. They need new management here.

This Dollar General is normally one of the cleaner and organized stores. The staff have been very friendly and helpful every time I have stopped by. I usually stop at this store everytime I am in Somerset and need to grab something quick. I can be in and out and have what I need in no time. Would suggest this store to anyone.

Kindness is s courtesy and professionalism is a skill. This Dollar General may be new but the employee's are experienced and well mannered in any situation.I know out here, strange things can happen and stranger folk pop up , no matter what the situation the kind employee's always treat every customer with respect and dignity while maintaining the vision of the company.I hope to see that a long time to come. This store is the worst store i've ever been in. The shelves are empty. While the stock set on a four highs waiting to be put out. No signs on your sale items or digital coupon items. So i got what i had to have and left. The only good thing about this visit, was the help was very nice and friendly,

Dang $20 for the HDMI cable Dollar general... I know you're not selling high-end electronics now! look I respect the fact that it's the dollar store and eventually sometimes a person will end up buying outdated food, I accepted the tradeoff. Sure it was candy, and sure I still ate it (that is beside the point.However, if I'm going to overlook that and not write a bad review for it then you should at least accept the fact that I'm not going to pay more for Dollar general brand HDMI cable than I'm going to for an actual brand name, high-end HDMI cable on Amazon just so I won't have to wait 3 days for it to arrive, despite the fact it will last about three hundred years longer. Shaking my head at you Dollar general store.
