I bought an item here that was on sale. Since the Hank's brothers near me, Lone Oak, didn't have the item I called this Hank's store on the Southside, & they had it & held it for me until I could drive there to pick it up. Hanks may be a little higher than the big box stores, but you get excellent immediate customer service at Hanks right away. That's worth a lot!

The woman and her daughter are very rude they like to excuse a customer that has spent thousands of dollars in the store of something. That they have no proof of. Don't shop at the Southside of Paducah true value.

This is the best hardware store in Paducah/Reidland. They have a LARGE variety of Case knives for sale which is mainly why I come here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Not many hardware stores carry these high quality knives anymore due to their high price. I love Hanks. 10/10

All of the staff is superfriendly and very helpful. I will take the extra time to drive to the Southside for this store. All of the employees are knowledgeable about their sections. Especially the guy in plumbing...and I would say that even if he wasn't my dad! Their selection of Willow Tree Angels is the best is town.

Lots of inventory but couldn't get anyone in plumbing to help. Fumbled around and found what I could make work. Lady at the register was very nice.

I went here recently to have my propane tank refilled. An older gentleman helped me and held a wonderful conversation as we waited for my tank to fill! He then noticed that my license plate was not attached (just got it) he then went and got a tool and put my license plate on my car. He went above and beyond to help me! I also got to pet a cat inside the store! 5 stars great experience!!!

They have many hard to find items as well as every day items. Some things are cheaper than the big box stores, some things may be a little higher. But, you won't have one of those blue or orange apron wearing associates see you need help and run as hard as they can while talking on their walky talkies to get away from you before you....heaven forbid...ask them a question! I had 3 different employees ask me how I was doing at True Value Southside and if I needed any help. And that's without me chasing them down! I bought fireplace logs from a young lady there and boy oh boy did she know her stuff. THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Go check them out. They have something for everybody. My wife even likes it!

Everytime I go here I always feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, at one time I went to hanks almost twice a week and would have recommended this store to everyone but I can't say the same about today I rarely go(only If I have to) and wouldn't recommend to anyone
