Smith-Berry was a nice stop off the beaten path on our way back from Kentucky Speedway. The location was nice and peaceful. The grounds were nice and the seating outside was ample for a few groups to sit in quiet and enjoy the tastings. The tastings were good. We purchased 6 bottles of wine from them. They were having a concert Saturday evening, we couldn't stay however if we did we would have for sure enjoyed it. The dog Burley was absolute our favorite. He was very sweet and friendly. He allowed us to pet on him. They had a nice pergola with seating next to a nice fountain. When my Bride is happy I am happy.

If you are looking for a slower paced, classic country farm, almost forgotten lifestyle, please come to this slice of heaven winery. Best deal for tasting within and hour radius (no limitation). The charming Smith-Berry team made us feel like family (farm dog and cats included). We even had a kind wave from the resident farmer in overalls. Recommendation for middle of the road wine lovers (Semi/Sweet) Half and Half, Sweet Stevie, Stevie Rose’, and Vignoles.

A fantastic place for an afternoon wine tasting. Lots of variety. We especially liked the blackberry and strawberry wines. And the furry friends were a great added feature. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure where the good ratings are coming from. There were 3 other groups of people there, one was a young group so I believe they enjoyed their fruity wines…which is good because all they had available were either/or fruit or sweet wines. We tried a Cabernet Sauvignon which could have passed for a sweet wine. It tasted like syrup. We went last weekend, on a Saturday, and the girl behind the counter could have been the least bit interested in helping us. She pointed us in the direction of the end of the counter with her finger and told us to look at the white sheet since that’s all available. Food was your basic bag of chips, or a chunk of cheese. Even the poor cats there seemed ignored since they were begging for attention so came and sat at our table the whole time.

Loved the quaint experience sitting outside under the shady pergola. Favorite wines were the sweet and semi-sweet varieties. Friendly staff and an overall pleasant experience. We will be back for future visits/events.

Just stopped in from out of state and WOW, amazing wines and the nicest staff. :) tasting was perfect and the cheeses we grabbed are so good, can’t stop eating it in the car. This wine will be on our delivery list from now on. Favorites were Brother John, Half and Half :)

We were very excited to come and sample their wine on our way home from a girls trip. We were extremely disappointed when we drove an hour out of the way for the winery to be closed. When we called the number online it went to voicemail, confirming their hours for Sunday, 12-6pm we were there a little after 12 and waited for half hour hoping that someone would show. Unfortunately, there was another couple that had come from Ohio that had also drove out of their way to sample. After messaging the Facebook page for the winery we didn’t get any responses and left. Hopefully, others won’t have the same experience as us, but wanted to leave a warning.

My wife and I love Smith Berry. We've yet to try a wine of theirs that we didn't enjoy and we love the concerts during the summer. The food at the concerts are a great way to try local restaurants and it's such a pleasant way to spend an evening. Also, there's a really cool dog that walks around and greets the concert goers.

My husband and I stopped in, we had a wine tasting with cheese and crackers. The wine is incredible. We walked away purchasing 8 bottles. We highly recommend stopping by this hidden treasure for your wine needs. I know next time I come through this area I will be back.

Sweet little winery with a great selection of wines to choose from! The atmosphere is perfect for sitting outside on a warm sunny day enjoying your favorite glass of wine in the beautiful country setting. Be sure to pet Burley while you’re visiting! He’s their lovable farm dog! 💕

While I miss their fabulous buffet and wine tastings, always a good time at S-B. They still have award winning wines, sangria by the glass, help with parking and friendly employees. Thanks for such a good time!

A true wine lovers delight!! My wife and I tried Smith-Berry for her birthday. It was recommended by some local friends. We arrived with no expectations, Kentucky being Bourbon country and not renowned for grape growing, and quickly fell in love with the entire experience. This is a GEM in the middle of the mountains. Stop in and have a tasting! Whatever your speed of wine, this Vinyard will not disappoint!

We stumbled across this place by accident on our motorcycle ride to Indiana.. I was so very impressed by the quality and flavor! I tried a glass and it was the absolute best tasting wine I've ever had! If we weren't on the bike I would have bought a case

It doesn't matter what my day is like - when I step out of my car at Smith-Berry - my entire spirit lifts. I love this place for a quiet glass of wine with my friends and family. And, I love this place for a summer concert with delicious food and fun music! Thank you to the staff and owners for this "little bit of heaven". I always want to go back.

The grounds are lovely. The wine is very tasty. Burley the pup is a big love bug. The chick behind the counter was rushing everyone and told them she wanted to leave early. Who does that?! She also had the personality of a straw bale. Made the visit not worth the drive off the highway!!

Went to a wedding here the other day. Best wedding I've ever been to. Staff were courteous, friendly and professional. The location was beautiful and clean. Even a few animals joined in the festivities.

The attendant was not happy to see us even tho it was only 5:10. We called ahead to assure it was open til 6 still. We were picking up 3 cases wine and did ask to taste, but felt we were a bother and ahe really just wanted to close shop. SSeceral wines seemed less rich, almost watered down, Mocato and Chambpurcin to be exact. Not particularly planning to return...and we usually are very excited about it. Disappointed on our way thru to north of Cincinnati.

Maybe I missed something here. The winery grounds are nice, staff was friendly but the dry wines I had here are some of the worst I've ever tasted. Sweet ones were okay, but man, the dry ones, so bad. All of them tasted close to the same, dead on arrival, like they were thinned with the same thing. I've been to Napa, Sonoma, & made some of my own wine. I guess this place isn't for a more seasoned wine pallete.

Wedding and reception was lovely. SB did a very nice spread of food and drink. My suggestion to them would be to do a little better on tbeir landscaping. It could be much nicer. The rental farm house needs some attention to entrance. Its crumbling.
