The staff was very helpful, but we had to change rooms a few times. The people that were supposed to clean the rooms didn't. On the plus side, a member of management and the staff did ready a room for us. The place is super old, and it shows, but this is a college with a few newer things, so we weren't expecting much. But, like I said, the staff was very nice and helpful.Rooms: They need to be updated

I am not one to give a bad review unless something is really bad. I am 63 and for work I travel. When I got to this hotel, I asked for a room downstairs, I was told they were all taken. The parking lot was almost empty, literally. There were at the time only about 4 cars there. While what this woman was telling me didn't make sense, I didn't argue with her, I just took a room upstairs. Lager that night and the next morning, I looked to see if what she was telling me was just a lie. It was! There were plenty of open rooms downstairs.The room was OK. It was a little dated but clean, so I didn't have any real issues with the room. But because I was just right out lied to, I would never stay at this hotel again. I think it's sad that people just make up stuff, thinking we are really that stupid.

I got this place because I didn't want to drive all day and wanted to catch the game in the evening. Usually some of the smaller towns have nicer places depending on the town. This is obviously not one of them. First they gave me a room that they didn't even clean. All they did was make the bed which leads me to believe that they don't even wash the sheets or blankets and just remake the bed. It's around 10:00 a.m. and not a cleaning person in sight. The second room was there a version of clean I guess. The tub and the bathroom floor had some sticky substance everywhere so I wasn't even going to attempt to take a shower in it. Whoever was in the room previously put a sticker over the peep hole on the door and use the ice bag to put over the fire detector. The room smelled awful and I had to crack the window just to have some fresh air and it was freezing cold outside. I looked at the ratings for the other places around here and they seem just as bad so my advice is to skip this town unless you have business here.

Worse experience ever.Went to Morehead KY for a Morehead University interview. Choose this hotel thinking it would be OK. Upon parking the car I realized something was wrong when I saw lots of trash piled up so high my family and I had to avoid it while going up the stairs. When we entered our "non smoking room" you can smell cigarette odor and see burns on curtain. Heater was not working. There was urine stains on bed sheets and bugs. Fridge was filled with old stuff and bathroom was dirty. Yep we left room in mins and checked out. Only positive was the inn host was polite and seemed to already expect immediate check outs.

Days Inn Wyndham should be absolutely ashamed to rent these rooms out. The room was filthy from the pubic hairs on the toilet seat to the nasty stinking dirty stained up carpet. There were cockroaches everywhere. The top blanket as well as the bottom blankets had cigarette burn holes all over them. We asked for a non smoking room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I have severe asthma so this was a problem. There were bums and nasty people partying and being loud all night in the parking lot and they rented the room next to ours and people came all hours of the night banging on the door and yelling. The staff were rude. There was no lamp shade on one lamp and the other lamp the switch was broken so you couldn’t turn it off unless you unplug it. The outlet cover it was plugged into was coming off the wall. DO NOT STAY HERE. There was toothpaste splattered all over the faucet and the bathtub was filth. This place should be shut down. 🤮 Where is Gordon Ramsey off Hotel Nightmares when you need him? 😂

Run the other direction. Pay the extra $30 and go next door to Best Western (it is very nice). I came to this Days Inn a couple of weeks ago. My door handle was broken, and couldn't get in. The front desk person (manager?) explained the "special" way to get that door open. I still couldn't, so housekeeping was able to shove the door open. I returned today to give a second chance, due to the price. WARNING: do not unpack/change clothes until you make sure that your room has a FRIDGE and a MICROWAVE. Mine had NEITHER. How does that go unnoticed?? They switched me to a 2nd room, and I dressed/packed back up. The 2nd room's TV didn't work. I waited 15 minutes for maintenance, then finally went downstairs to ask to be switched to a THIRD room. The third room didn't have soap/shampoo. Management is an absolute JOKE and should be ashamed/embarrassed of themselves. The front desk worker (10/10/23 evening) was nice enough. I need hotels regularly in the area. After two problematic stays at this one, I am finished.Just an update: the microwave in my THIRD room was filthy.

Stayed here on 6-23-23.Room was dirty and smelled terrible.Cigarette burns on the blankets.Toilet running all night.No shampoo.Various wetness on floor and counters.Unfortunately only option I found to stay in Morehead before dropping my daughter off at the college the next day.I’ll stay in Lexington area next time and drive in.

The first time I stayed in this hotel, I was targeted for human trafficking. Over a year later, I booked a room for a client, who found what she thought was bedbugs and left the room, paying out of pocket at Carter Caves.. The pictures she took appears to be black mold instead, but the hotel refused a refund.DO NOT RECOMMENDSafety: Not a safe place

Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Room was clean except there were crumbs under the sheets on the mattress as well as burn holes in the comforter in a non smoking room. I mean what do you expect for a $70 a night hotel. No breakfast when we went to check out at 8:50 am. Over all good enough for a place to lay your head and get a decent shower.

Please avoid this hotel. Dirty room 203- tub leaking, bugs on underside of chair mattress, looked like dried egg on bed skirt, Door lock on outside messed up and door security lock on inside broken/ screws coming out. Could see outside door underneath door. Believed door had been forced open before from looks of it. Oh non smoking room but bathroom reeked of smoke. Unprofessional and rude staff that messed up my reservation and refused to change it. Neighbors were not "safe" environment inviting either. Strong pot smoke smell , people hanging outside rooms openly drinking like it was mardi gras. I stayed one night. I went to Best Western for rest of stay. What a difference 100ft away makes.Rooms: Dirty rooms. Read review .Safety: Not a very safe feeling environment.

We had room 112 very briefly.. it was supposed to be a non-smoker room. We walked in, and it smelt like someone had smoked in there for weeks. Absolutely disgusting cigarette smell, made myself and my gf gag.The sheets had BURNHOLES in them clear to the mattress, as well as some sort of mold stain or whatever dark stains.We investigated the mattress to see if it was clean and we found bed bugs! Crawling in the topper fold around the edge.The toilet was wedged up with folded paper cups in attempt to not wobble, but it didn't work. The toilet paper holder was blue electrical taped to fix some sort of break. There were a couple cigarette butts in the room as well as ashes on the floor and what looked to be like someone putting out a cigarette on the wall next to the door leading outside.

I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise against staying at this establishment, primarily due to its appalling lack of cleanliness and a serious bedbug infestation. I will not even star this hotel.The kids and I were only staying one night and the rate was reasonable. The room was in need of a remodel as the first room shower was not hot. Then there was a hole in the wall.I had to go down to make them aware that the room had bed bugs. The night girl was great about moving our rooms and handing over trash bags to bag our minimal items. However, upon addressing the management the next morning she said it would be handled today. Hello, you can't rid bed bugs in a day. She offered absolutely no compensation or anything.She just said that the mattresses in the room were new. Ok doesn't matter bugs bit one of my kids.Yeah we won't be using this hotel again. And apparently another customer complained not to long ago. So what's that say for their service.

Didn't get to stay there as our 3-weeks-prior-paid-in-full-booking was cancelled on the same day as when we were supposed to check in. That was what our review based on. Thank God, though. We probably woulda had very interesting experience had we ever really stayed there. We then spent more budget on a nearby hotel and had an awesome experience, instead.

When we got into the room, we checked for bed bugs. There was evidence of bed bugs. After checking more, there was weed on the nightstand and aluminum foil and gloves in the dresser. There were burn holes in the sheets. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us one. If I could give this negative stars, I would. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Let me start with the fact that anytime I travel I use Days Inn. I’ve never had any issues any time before. However this stay was completely unacceptable. My husband and I arrived at midnight after a LONG drive all day. The very first room we were given the lights did not work. Not a huge deal so I just let John at the desk know and he moved us. The second room we were given, the beds were covered in some sort of tobacco pieces, or mouse dropping, or something (the first couple images are of that). So John again moved us to a THIRD room, when my husband and I went up this one the door was open, bed unmade, and people clearly staying in the room. Images of that also attached. So the fourth room we just decided to keep because we were tired, at this point it was nearly 1:30am. But I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and the toilet wasn’t attached to the floor. It just rocked and spilled toilet water everywhere. Not to mention there are workers staying in the rooms around who were up all night blasting music and busting beer bottles outside all around us and just being loud ALL NIGHT! I then went to the front desk again and hadn’t received any sort of discount or anything for all of this, and was told they didn’t have a manager there but if I wanted to walk next door TO ANOTHER HOTEL and talk to their manager she may be able to help. I sent over the photos to her (and John the night before) and she did offer me a 20% discount but I do not believe 20% compensates all of this. And unfortunately after many years of using Days Inn if this isn’t rectified somehow better than 20% I think I may have to find a hotel outside of Wyndham.

I like staying here. We arrived three hours before check in time and the room was not ready yet and they put someone right away cleaning the room so we could get settled in. The room was clean and the bed felt really good. I love that it’s close to Dominos, Hardee’s, Peddlers mall, McDonald’s across the street, gas station on top of hill. We always have a good experience staying here, if I wanted to find things to nit pick about I certainly could as I could anywhere I’ve ever stayed. So, I give them 2 thumb’s up👍👍 Thanks Days Inn.Nearby activities: It’s close to many good restaurants and gas stations. It has snack machines.

Room was apparently only minimally cleaned, and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Articles of trash still in room from previous occupant. Door chain absent, looks like it was broken.No bedbugs, though. Good shower water pressure. It was pretty quiet; had an end room.A cheap place to sleep & have questionable activities & a shower. Days Inn is kind known for that, to be fair.

Hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My friend and I stayed there one night. First off, when we had got there, we had to wait 30 minutes until somebody finally assisted us. He Didn’t even check our ID. The room had a strange odor right away. The blankets had odd stains and burn holes. We asked for new sheets and the same issue has arose. The door would not shut all the way even when it locked. The shower drain was clogged. The bathtub was filthy. The fridge was filthy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody! Filthy!
