Personally, I am extremely disappointed with this location. Just their advertising alone is irritating. HOWEVER, I did appreciate the sale on their glade candles and CBD candles! God knows I definitely needed them! I only shopped with/at Kroger for the last 10 1/2 years until, I moved to that area for a short period of time. I then had to switch to Walmart as a Target nor Costco were available. It really bothered me to have to switch but, there were SO many issues while shopping here. Numerous times the self check was not adequately working and I had to wait for the employee to come scan her badge to check what the issue was while, there was a line of people standing impatiently behind me. Every time I went to shop, there was only one register open regardless, of how busy the store was. Numerous times, I had to just leave due to feeling immediately overwhelmed due to there was no help at all with finding products, products pricing was priced wrong, I couldn’t find any employees although, there were multiple employees standing by the front door when I’d first arrived into the store. Numerous times I’d finally reached self check and believed I knew exactly what I’d spent while shopping due to id written the amount plus the tax down and started scanning and every single product was an absolute different price than marked and marked by most of the time 2-3x’s higher than what was advertised, when the employee/cashier came to me and I’d told her and showed her a picture. She had to have someone go check or she did herself and came back with something different every time. I am truly grateful that I never had to shop here as a single parent and shop with my children because, that would have been an absolute nightmare.

I don't know about anyone else but ever time I shop at the Kroger in middlesboro ky they find something that my over the counter card don't cover and they charge me extra out of pocket cash . I find this to only happen in ky. It's rough enough that I can't get around well and often not feeling up to the task of shopping so as for me Kroger just lost a customer I'll be doing my business elsewhere where they won't over charge me or say that my card won't cover an item when I know that it will. I do hope that if you happen to be having issues with Kroger that you will also no longer shop there as well. Thank you

Perfect "normal " size, full service grocery store! The store was well maintained, well organized and immaculate! You may ask what is "normal " in size?? Normal size, in my opinion, is a store which is not a mega, super center, box store design. If you're of a certain age, as I am, you remember when all grocery stores were "normal " in size, long before the huge stores of today. This was my first visit to this Kroger location. It was a very pleasant experience shopping in a grocery store without the large, overwhelmed experience I typically get inside the huge "box" mega stores. My partner owns a farm approximately 25 miles from Middlesboro, KY, and this Kroger store is one of his favorites in the area. Although this location is not one of Krogers huge Market Place super stores, it has all the essential items, plus a wide selection of other merchandise. After moving to Florida six years ago, I truly miss the Kroger stores, as there is no Kroger in the Tampa Bay area. Growing up and spending much of my adult life in East Tennessee, Kroger has always been the major grocery store chain in the area. I never realized how much I appreciated Kroger until moving to Florida. This particular location is fairly basic in design and very easy to navigate. The check out associates were very friendly and efficient! This Kroger location also includes a bakery, pharmacy, self check out lanes and fuel center ( be sure to get a Kroger Plus Card and start earning fuel points!!)

Service is poor, had an older lady pushing buggy in from parking lot one day in the snow and ice. The pass three times I tried to shop there no shopping carts at all. Place has changed in the pass year or so.

I love Kroger brands, they're just as good as the name brand items. Plus with my Kroger card I save on gas and with my app on my phone I get coupons in the mail based on the items I buy a lot of. A lot of the coupons are for free items that I use all the time! They definitely save me money I can use for other things. I'm a Kroger Fan all the way! Every time I shop at Kroger I do my receipt surveys for my 50 extra fuel points. Just came home from a trip and will do one now. They add up and getting 40, 50 or 60 cents off a gallon of gas is a lot and is a great help to my budget!

Middlesboro location was great when we moved here a couple years ago, Store has gone downhill and is very dated corporate needs to throw them some bucks to remodel. Meat dept cooler temps were reading 60 degrees all the meat packages were sweating from the temps rising. What cashiers they had were friendly

I had a curbside pick up, and a simple order. First of all, I ordered 5lbs. Of Brussel sprouts and got a puny bag of 5 Brussel sprouts. I ordered 5 2lb. Bags of shredded cheese and of those 2 were substituted without my permission to do so and 1 of the bags that they actually got right was full of mold. I tried contacting the store before posting this and it only rings. No answer

Poor customer service, signage with prices are deceiving biggest thing I can't get any team of management to fix my kroger plus account went from spending almost $500.00 a month to barely $ 100 and that's only because I need something and it's close to where I work

Kroger's in Middlesboro Ky has bit the dust ,11 checkout lanes, only 1 cashier,0 baggers. From time I got in checkout line till my groceries were totaled and bagged was 67 minutes,when I complained to manager,her reply was you don't have to be rude.Managers there are saying it's Covid,we can't keep workers. Advised them Food City 2 blocks away had 4 lanes open and 2 baggers and a manager at service desk. After cashier rings up groceries they have to stop and bag and put groceries in the buggy,during this time the line continues to grow. If you want better service ,go Food City,and as bad as I hate to say it ,even Walmart is faster

I had the best experience in kroner today. They were out of a couple of items that I went there to get ( from the sales paper ) one of their staff members gave me something even better for the sale price. The young man at the register was also very helpful and so friendly.

You can find what you need. Everyone is always so helpful... The store is so clean... The prices are affordable and there is always a sale, they always send me coupons, so I get really good deals... I also get fuel points for the things I purchase... If that's not a good deal, then show me one!!!

Although lately it's been more of a task getting checked out since the self check, I always pick my local Kroger for my shopping needs not only can you buy your groceries but they have a variety of other products as well not to mention the knowledge staff in their pharmacy. Always find what I want there.

I like coming up to the area sometimes and love going to this Kroger. I usually lose but I like getting lottery tickets here too. It's honestly a nice location because it's one of the first things you see driving through and there's other things close by.

Kroger is one of the better places to shop in town, with a large selection of organic, local produce as well as organic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is how dated the store is in some places (especially the bathrooms)

Fairly run of the mill grocery store but doesn't have a very good produce section. It's often hard to find gold potatoes that aren't green, for example. But they do have free apples and bananas for kids and discounted produce that is about to go bad. Not a great selection of ingredients if you want to make foods from other cultures

The only problem I have with Kroger is they offer the 123 reward card which I use to send money to my son in college, however, so many times I go in the store to get a recharge card to refurbish his card and they will be out. It has happened so many times I believe they know me because I am always looking for the card. Do I need to find another way. This was so convenient.
