I’m very much upset. My Cockapoo of 1 year went for a grooming. I showed Chloe a pic of the way I wanted her coat to look. It took 3 hours and I was concerned. When I picked her up, Chloe told me Haven was hard to cut around her face. I said I’m so sorry and she sort of dismissed it. She gave me 2 groomers that might helpWith the face issue. She was brought out. She was cut very short. Nothing like the pic I showed her. She looked more like poodle and I specifically said I did not want the poodle look on Haven. I was paying and my husband took Haven. We quickly got her to the car since it took so long for the grooming. I was shocked to see her tail was totally shaved except for a fluff of hair at the tip of her tail. She was not happy with her look and I was livid! I called and left a message for them about how upset I was. Then today I called and spoke to customer service. They said someone would get back to me. I don’t hold much hope for this. So I’m out $92 for a terrible cut. By the way they wrote down she was very matted. I brushed the day before and that is not true!! She’s never been really matted. She has very curly hair all the way to the skin.I could go on more but to be sure I won’t be back to Petco for grooming and will pass on my experience to all who ask for a referral.Becky Zak

You managed to trim Max’s nails.I adopted him two years ago with very long nails. I found out why!For a little guy, he’s very strong and intensely resistant to even having his paws touched.I took him to get his nails trimmed, once. It was poorly done. Probably Max’s fault.Your team got him trimmed. I will be going back every two weeks, per suggestion, hopefully to help Max relax and also to keep the nails trimmed to less lethal lengths.Thank you so very much.

Our groomer was incredible. She was so patient and loving with our dog who had just previously had a bad experience at another groomer. She visibly calmed her and guided her through the process. It was so reassuring to watch

This was the second time I brought my puppy to be groomed at PetCo, and the process was yet again chaotic and rushed. “Just sign here on the emergency line!” No great welcoming for myself or pet and everything seemed like I don’t have time for you or to discuss how the process goes. Anna was his assigned groomer both times and Nicole was the one who checked me out. When I return to PetCo to pick him up Nicole was working the desk, again chaotic, short and rushed. While having an aggravated look and demeanor she had AirPods in, in which she aggressively took out to address me. She asked who are you here for and I stated my dogs name to which she got short and rude with me. She stated he was very aggressive and needs to go elsewhere for grooming. She did not elaborate and was very short and rude, like me and my dog were and problem and she wasn't to be bother. It was a very quick and rude conversation that I couldn't even process due to her “I don’t have time for you demeanor” as she hurries and says do you need a receipt? When I say yes, please. She tears it off and sticks it in my face before walking away. It’s very sad that this is how new pet owners and puppies are treated at your facility which makes me incredibly sad because we had such a great experience there at Petco with Amanda for training classes.

I’ve had my toy poodle groomed here multiple times and always had a great experience. The last time I took her we had a new stylist (I believe Chris) and after an hour or so he called and said he can’t complete the groom because she wouldn’t stay still and didn’t want groomed. He said “we are both getting frustrated with each other and I think it’s best I end the groom here”. Understandable, that was fine with me. I get it that sometimes dogs can be that way and if she was being difficult then I wouldn’t expect him to groom her. So I just groomed her at home this time.I make an appointment a couple months later for a grooming and am called the night before the appointment and am told they cannot groom her because she was biting.1. He never mentioned her biting but I guess he put it in her notes. Why was I not told about this???2. I know 100% that she would never bite. I have a 1 year old who literally rough plays with her, grabs her (etc you know things that toddlers do) ALL DAY and she has never ever even acted like she was going to bite him. She is the sweetest dog.3. When I dropped her off for the groom, the stylist just seemed off and like maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. And when he called for me to pick her up he just sounded frustrated.Definitely do not recommend this groomer and disappointed as we pay for the Pals Rewards and always used the grooming coupon. Not sure how this one guy had a problem with her and she’s been groomed there multiple times with no issues ever. They always say she was good when I pick her up. And now she’s banned because he lied about her biting?? I just don’t believe that. RidiculousUpdate: I just took her to another groomer and they said she was fantastic. I asked if she was aggressive at all, and they said no. Just to prove my point-I would definitely not book your grooms with Chris at Petco, he will lie about your dog

Cassie is the best groomer around. I've recommended her to several friends who are also happy. Give that lady a bonus! She is holding everything together in the grooming salon and working so hard. I'm so impressed! I don't know what we would do without her.

Convenient location. The groomer was so friendly. She took the time to talk to my dog in a calming tone and let my dog come to her. The price was good and he looked great. We are hooked. We will be returning regularly.

Their courtesy and careful analysis of our pet prior to taking her back. Nicole is a great groomer an our Schnauzer goes out looking like a million dollar Schnauzer. She has got that cut down to a fine art!

My dog was completely mutilated at your store. I have an Australian Shepard, so she's a double coated dog. I specifically asked the groomer to only scissor cut behind my dogs legs and around her neck and clean up the rest of her stray hairs. De-shed, and with a bath as well. I came back up to pick up my dog and she shaved her entire body with the exception of her head and tail. She looks terrible, you NEVER shave an aussie or similar dogs with that type of coat it's part of her personality and what makes her breed stand out. I am so dissatisfied. I already called customer service to complain and am awaiting a call back to see if I can be refunded, because to pay almost $120 for my dogs coat to be completely ruined in the beginning of winter is ridiculous. She's so anxious now and shaking non stop because she's probably freezing and doesn't have her coat to keep her warm and protect her.

The groomer was almost cruel in the way he treated and cut my dog. She is an older toy poodle with age spots and bumps. He shaved her completely to the skin, even her tail and ears despite my request not to do it. He nicked her age bumps at several times on her back and neck. When I dropped her off he said she was matted but she was no worse than any other time I have brought her. Other groomers always did a wonderful job. She has a bad tooth that the vet has advised not to fix due to her age. The groomer kept pulling on her chin and pushing around the tooth, upsetting my dog. I had told him if he couldn't handle her or if she acted bad to just call me and I would pick her up. He never called. The groomer was just horrible. I will not recommend this location and we will not be back. As I said, this groomer was just cruel and seemed to shave her out of spite. I have never experienced anything like this.

I love taking my Sammy there. They are always so accommodating. The only thing I have an issue with sometimes is that they don't trim Sammy's nails as short as I would like. That also may be due to her black nails and unable to judge where the quick is sooooo, that being said. I am genuinely happy with them.

My dog has had bad experiences before at other groomers, but he always seems to have a good time here. The groomers always praise how sweet and good he is. If he is happy with his groomers then I am too.

My thor ❤ is 21 months old and he has only gone to Petco for his grooming. We lived in Round Rock Texas and took him to the Pflugerville petco were he saw Saskia. Now I live in Valley Station area in Kentucky and the drive is very much worth taking him. I'm well pleased

They did a great job and were really nice! Both groomers answered all of my questions and didnt try to up sale me.
