Have lived in the area for over 20 years. I have never before seen the store in such a constant state of disorder. It's always filthy, hardly an lanes ever open. I personally have found multiple items that were being stored on a regular shelf (products that need to be chilled or refrigerated.) Just seems to be a lack of management for the most part.

I've been shopping here often on for years. I think they have really good meat. Their produce is pretty good. Their deli section used to be really good but the past few times I have been there. It doesn't seem to be open that much anymore, which is a shame. There can goods are not cheap at all so don't go there for that. Do not use their pharmacy. It is the worst in town you will be there Forever, if they even fill your prescription, they will never fill it on time. This is not somewhere that you can shop for all of your household needs. But you can find a majority of things at a decent price. But you will have to go somewhere else as well.

A couple months ago I stopped shopping at Kroger in Hillview because my orders were always messed up, pushed back hours with no notice etc. Today I decided to try it again, went in and shopped, went to use my credit card, and apparently they won’t accept it unless you put a PIN number in. I never use my pin because my card and pin have been hijacked more than once and banks don’t reimburse then. The manager came after about 20 minutes told me she was busy with meetings. My patience was done, and I told her a customer never wants to hear that her meeting was a priority, she gave me an eye roll and walked off, and never came back.

Click list for pickup is ALWAYS DELAYED. I have no problems when I shop for stuff on my own but when I use this service on weeks or days I have a lot going on, they never have my order on time. Get it together, Kroger. If there are staffing shortages, shut down the program.

I like Kroger grocery stores, they are the Publix of Kentucky and are generally very good. This is my first time in this store and I was impressed. It has been reported that lots of places aren't fully stocked, and my local store has had difficulty keeping up with demand. This store was fully stocked, clean and bright with lots of good deals - I bought much more than I intended when I walked in the door. I had a little trouble finding things, so I asked rather than just walking around aimlessly, and the woman stocking the shelves was exceptionally friendly and responsive, and correct. This store is out of my neighborhood, but worth the drive and close to other stores and restaurants (post-COVID).

Not what it used to be 😞 on busy days they only have two( if you're lucky ) check out lanes with humans and the rest it self checkout and when I'm spending $200 it's a pain in the butt the things are slow and once you put so much on the belt you have to walk down and arrange the stuff because it won't let you keep scanning. This is ridiculous and the reason why I go to priceless or Walmart more often now I used to only do my grocery shopping at Kroger......but not anymore

It's an inconvenience to shop here.The aisles are already tiny, but in the back left (near the dairy) they have stuff blocking the middle so there is always traffic. Only one person can walk through at a time and they can't turn around because there is simply no room. Not sure how anyone in management approved this.I don't like to shop here anymore because it takes too long to get items off shelves due to having to wait for people to move out of the way. When i finally do have all my items, it takes minimum 45 minutes to cash out because they don't have enough open registers.But that's not all, folks! Only one side of the building has doors that allow you to leave, so you can't exit near the pharmacy even if you parked and entered on that side. So now you have to walk all the way around.The staff is friendly, but this place is mismanaged.

Kroger has a great meat department and produce section also. They are always well stocked on products, and run good sales. I use my Kroger card to get money off on gas, which is located right next to the store. Very convenient location. They have a drive thru pharmacy, floral department, and the deli has a wide variety of foods, even fresh sushi, it's good, I tried it. They have many registers for you to check out your own purchases that always move fast. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Pick-up is always a hassle here.I realize you have to order ahead of time for big orders of fried chicken. But they only had half of my fried chicken that I ordered 24 hours ahead of time.The people bringing out orders were very polite, which I found surprising after I imagine having to disappoint customers all day long.

I don't think I've ever seen a grocery store go down so quickly. The store from produce to dairy has abandoned carts in all the aisles, produce and products missing and out of stock and filth everywhere you look. Corporate needs to do a surprise inspection and have some hard discussions. The only department that was in good shape was the little liquor section in the entrance.

I wouldn’t recommend this Kroger location to nobody. Bought a box of protein bars and the expiration date was from July of 2023. Please check y’all’s items before checking out. Worst location to go get your food from.

The store is out of stuff different, I know is that shipping problem but the store is so hot even before we have the heat that we are having now the employees which I feel sorry for her standing there sweating and all they’re doing their swiping and back in the store needs to get the air conditioner fixed. It is way too hot when you are. Sweat is pouring off of you why you are shopping

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. they lock the freaking doors 25min before closing so you gotta sneak in when people come out the exit. They never answer the freaking phone. Like EVER. i called them over 12times trying to ask ab MEDICINE and they wouldn’t pick up the phone. the answering service is a joke. Don’t get me started on the entire stores disorganization. like they’ve got boxes and trolleys in the middle of the aisles like get you a new manager or something. and quit closing the store early. just pathetic

I placed an order on 08/16/2023 that was canceled. I still have not received a refund ($198). I’ve called multiple times and most reps have said they do not even see a refund processing. I spoke to a supervisor who claimed a refund was submitted, I asked for proof of the refund processing and she was not able to provide it.I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB as well.

Kroger pickup is absolutely horrible, 80% percent of the time you put in a order and pick selext a time frame window..you get a call letting you know its being pushed back...customer support tells you one thing and then it turns into something else, placed a order and was called twice once to push it back for 2 hrs and then a second to pretty much say we don't know a time frame...never got the order, was charged for it two days later....was told by customer support I could pick it up by 4 get to the store was told at the store I couldn't get it..a hour phone call with support to find out nothing and couldn't get the order here is a 20 dollar coupon.

Two checkouts open with @6 people in line. Self checkout on one side closed and the other only one that took cash. Management might want to leave their comfy office and put cash in the machines to make changeLeft my cart with @ $150 of groceries and went to Walmart.

I find it less a pleasure to shop Kroger because of all the games to play in order to buy the sale prices. Of course I'm a Senior who prefers to just grocery shop good prices and not play games. It's not the store it's the games.

The store was clean and maintained. Produce looks fresh. The deli items were fresh. I bought some derby city chicken salad that was awesome. The deli had a wide variety of fresh hot and cold items on display. There are some good deals on grocery items throughout the store, especially if you have a kroger rewards card. The best way to save additional money is by shopping for some of their great store brands. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Overall nice experience.

Do not order groceries for pickup from here. I never order groceries for pickup from here anymore because the last several times I did, they had to call me to tell me that my grocery order would be at least two hours late being ready. So, even though I live right across the street, I go all the way to the Bardstown Rd Kroger instead. Every once in a while, I place an order here to give them another chance thinking, maybe they have hired more employees by now or gotten more competent. It has been probably a year since I got my groceries from here, so today I thought, hey, let's give it a try. Low and behold, the girl just called me and told me my order would be two hours late. I'm sure when we get there, it will be close to an hour sitting there waiting, like usual. Just don't bother.

Please DO NOT buy a rotisserie chicken from here! For one they are overpriced as the chicken is small as heck, secondly they don’t know how to cook them. They are so under seasoned, dry, hard, and overcooked it is ridiculous! U waste half of your chicken throwing it away because it’s hard. They wings on the one I bought were inedible because it hard and dry, so hard and dry that the actual wing just broke off and crumbled. If you want great rotisserie chicken PLEASE GO TO SAMS CLUB! Their chicken is very well seasoned, large, cooked perfectly and is only $5! While Kroger charges $8, $9, and $11 for these tiny, dry chickens they have to offer.

I only shop at Kroger spirit shop. But went into the grocery to get a free pk of Oscar Mayer weiners. From a mailing I got from Kroger. Noticed they had Oscar Meyer chopped ham on sale for 4.49. Regular price $4.79. Every day price @ Meijer is $4.19!!! Kroger is RIPPING YOU OFF!!! Go to Meijer people for reasonable prices!!! Kroger only has it's name. Meijer has the deals!!! Kroger's prices are so high & they still change a fee for cash back.

Shopped for my weekly groceries and found most shelves filled. I use their coupons, digital coupons and instant savings to keep costs down. Even though eggs are outrageous I purchased 18 for $4.98. Guess that's good.

Worse experience ever today with the blond hair pharmacist. Had an issue with a script that I needed for a serious medical condition. I have no proof that my daughter ever picked them up but they said my daughter got it along with six more. I stated that she could have lost it but I needed it filled today and I would pay for it. I waited at the drive through for 30 minutes to get to the window and pharmacist said he would not refill it for me while I was at window. I told him it would take five minutes to put them in a bottle while I waited but he refused. He said that I had to come back in 45 minutes and sit in line another 30 minutes. I told him I needed it for a serious medical condition and he said he would not fill it today. He then pulled the blind down at the window. He has no problem solving skills and his solution to resolving a serious medical related issue was to withhold the medicine I needed. I was upset but not angry at all. I was adamant about needing the medicine now. Their drive through is closed much of the time leaving people with disabilities like myself without a way to pick up needed meds. Also filled a medical neglect with Kroger corporate.
