Allie's Mutt Hut is AMAZING! Scheduling was very simple on their website (make sure you read the entire agreement!), and customer service was great! They answered questions via text and also followed up after the appointment. My puppy had her first appointment there, and though she gave them a hard time, they were very patient with her and gave me tips to improve her next appointment. We're so lucky to have a groomer like this in Germantown!

Everyone there is friendly and always helpful! You can tell that they love animals and go out of their way to care for them! Allie does a great job at grooming our dog and our dog is always excited to go there! I would recommend them to anyone and have! Check them out if you need your dog to look fabulous!

I took my 17 year old Lhasa Apso (Mr.Teddy) for the first time to this place and boy did we feel welcomed. They had a little chalk board outside that said welcome with Mr.Teddy’s name and other dogs names that were being groomed today. When we went inside they let Mr.Teddy case the place 😂 on his own. He seemed to feel right at home. They did a great job on him and had him ready in about 3 hours. I highly recommend this place and you can tell the owner takes pride in grooming. Allie's Mutt Hutt was our first ever grooming experience for Coorah, and it was so great! Our 11 year old cattle dog refuses to let us brush her after baths or trim her nails, but the staff here had no problem. She looks so good and her coat is so smooth and thin! (the tufts of hair we were never able to brush out are gone!!) Thanks to the team!

After bathing Argos myself since he was a puppy, I decided to take the backseat and let groomers handle him! I was not disappointed! The staff at Allies were all welcoming to both Argos and me. Argos was nervous when we arrived but when I returned to pick him up, he looked shiny, sleek, and happy. Everyone at Allie’s was friendly, kind, and genuinely loved the fur babies! Took my Pugel Jack today. They gave him a bath, brushed him, blow dried him and cut his nails. They treated him very well. He came out looking great. He was happy wagging his tail and doing his happy dance. I will definitely be bring him back to Allie’s Mutt Hut every time he needs his nails done. Cause for the cost of getting his nails done at the Vet’s he gets a Bath and His under coat brushed out. Bringing him here is a no brainer. Thanks Allie & Crew!

First time having my cavalier King Charles spaniel groomed here and had a great experience. Allie did exactly what I wanted with his hair cut, which I’ve had trouble with at other groomers. She listened perfectly to my instructions and even texted in the middle of the groom to make sure she remembered how to do his feet correctly. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but no worries as stuff happens and I knew to keep my day free after dropping him off so I could get him quickly. Will be a returning customer.

Nice small groomer. They did an amazing job on my pup. Had to give them minimal description on what I was looking for and it turned out better than I imagined. Love the bandana they put on her as well. Will definitely be back.

I am getting ready to drop off Leo for his third grooming appointment with Allie. We stopped going to our vet for grooming because they said we had to use anesthesia to put 15yo Leo under because they could no longer safely groom him. Luckily Ali and those who work with her do the best they can with our grouchy old fella and his medical issues without meds or anesthesia. So glad we found them!

The first time I took my dog for a nail trim here the staff and service was wonderful. I took my pup again for a 2nd time and I did not have the same experience. The woman who came out to trim his nails didn’t say anything and seemed angry the entire time, like me bringing my dog there was an inconvenience to her even though that’s literally her job? My dog kept pulling away while getting his nails trimmed which is obviously frustrating for her and made her attitude worse. He’s never been that bad before but the way the staff handled it was very disappointing. They didn’t talk to him, pet him, or try to comfort him in any way like normal pet handlers do and there was no patience or understanding involved. I’m sure my dog is not the only one who has pulled away while getting a nail trim. They then proceeded to tell me I should enroll him in training classes. Not sure what that has to do with nail trimming… He’s been in a multitude of training classes since he was a puppy and is a very well behaved and a smart dog aside from his nail trim fluke. The whole conversation made me feel judged and unwelcome and I will not be returning because of it. I’ve never had this issue anywhere else. If your dog isn’t 100% perfectly behaved in every single way then don’t bring them here, the staff will make you feel that way anyways.

My Pupper gets Groomed here and we're overly pleased. We had her Boarded this past Christmas week and we were more than pleased at the care she received while we were gone away. The staff welcomed us to call and check on her and they kept us updated on her stay as well.

She's passionate about her work and all the animals come out looking their best and usually get to me and play with new friends and us humans that work here.... The staff were very friendly, but I honestly don’t see a difference in my puppy. In addition to a bath, I asked to have his glands expressed and a slight trim on his hind legs, but they didn’t do that. I’m frustrated that I waited 5 hours just for a bath, because I could’ve done that at home.

Way over priced . Took my 55 pound Australian Shepherd / lab mix for only a bath and nail trim . His fur is more similar to a golden retriever and not full or long as a full blooded Australian shepherd . The groomer said she had to cut some mats from behind his ears. They could not have been big because I keep up with cutting the mats and had just brushed him that morning and didn’t notice any mats. Anyway the price was $165 . Just wow ..this place is way too expensive for me.

If your pet deserves a professional for their grooming care, go anywhere else. No vaccination checks are done here so cannine flu, kennel cough, or worse are risks. The staff takes no care to prevent injuries to pets or informing pet owners when there has been an accident. My dog’s eye was scratched requiring a veterinary vision appointment and care in excess of $500. When I informed the staff at our next appointment and asked them to be extra careful with his eyes, there was no accountability or concern or investigation. At our last visit we were charged a fifty percent up charge for “behavior.” We never received a phone call to say he wasn’t tolerating the grooming or any details of what happened. It could be a health issue when a dog isn’t tolerating grooming when they usually do okay. No awareness or approval of that here. They’ve also started implementing a slate of ridiculous fees. Pay for the appointment even if you miss it or need to reschedule. Late drop off fee. Late pick up fee. Meanwhile they don’t hold themselves accountable to the time frame given. So grooming might take two hours or ten and customers need to arrange their whole day to be there within fifteen minutes of any phone call. Or suffer fees. Have also spoken now with other former customers and former employees. Employees struggling with addiction have been permitted to work under the influence according to at least one. One person lost their dog here when a contractor was allowed to be coming and going and the dog slipped away. Never found as far as I know. At first I was impressed with the precautionary procedures put in place. But those procedures are no longer followed. We feel lucky now that nothing worse did not befall our dog.If you care about your pet, you can’t afford to leave it in the “care” of this Nutt Hutt, on our experience. Step into any restaurant or bar in the neighborhood and ask opinions if you need more info or a second or eightieth opinion, though.Innocent doggos deserve a duty to care and a safe grooming. Now we know and you do too.

Allie’s a sincere dog-lover. She does take time to calm nervous dogs, and is meant to work with dogs in this fashion. She has helped out my little pet rescue a couple of times in emergency-groom situations too!

**WARNING - ALLIE'S MUTT HUTT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY! My elderly parents recently wanted their 2 small dogs groomed. They called the Mutt Hutt, the nice lady told them $130 for the 2 pups. . This price was perfect because it fit into their budget. My father dropped them off in the morning a little before the appointment. The person that was there at the time didn't mention that there would be a charge for bringing the pups in early. When my father goes to pick them up Allie's Mutt Hutt charged him $225 for the 2 dogs. They say the charge was for bringing them in early and it was in the papers my father signed at drop off (you know the ones that say if they lose your dog you won't sue them. This actually happened once at Allie's Mutt Hutt - they lost the dog! The owners were putting up flyers all over, it's in their earlier reviews ). Also in her earlier reviews is Allie (owner of Allie's Mutt Hutt) blaming patrons for not keeping their dogs properly groomed and attempting to threaten the ones leaving reviews with getting sued for slander. However if you are putting it in writing and it's "false info" then it's considered liable not slander. All of this statement is 100% accurate! So no matter what Allie says to this review NOTHING makes up for going in and picking up your dogs and paying $95 over what you expected to get your pups back. FINANCIAL ABUSE OF THE ELDERLY IS JUST WRONG ALLIE.

If you make an appointment here expect to pick your dog up 7 hours later. This is the first and last time I come here I should have listened to all the reviews on this place.
