I always wondered why this store was so bad when I lived in the area. Eventually I was cursed to work there then I realized it was the management. It is the norm to be understaffed. This led to me having to do extra work. When I noticed that I was being left to do work nobody else wanted to do (supervisor and subordinates) I went to Toni (store manager)to ask for more equal treatment and to ask my manager to split task more evenly and her words were “if you want things to be fair then you need to transfer to another store) a fish rots from the head down and that woman is rotten so if you wonder why the productivity and the attitudes there are so poor that is the person to focus on.

Can be busy at times, but I’m able to get in, find what I’m looking for, and get out quickly without having to wait an unreasonable amount of time standing in line. Prices are competitive although they can be high on certain items. They tend to be stocked with clean and organized shelves. Employees are generally friendly and knowledgeable.

This Kroger location is alright. The parking lot is set on a hill, the base of the hill being the store itself, also parking isles are "one-way" lanes. They do have an ample amount of handicap parking available.My complaint with this store would be the selection of produce available. Came to look for a mix bag of lettuce/carrot/radish mixture and the bulk of their options was either the Kroger brand itself (which many know the majority of their bagged lettuce horrible quality that's visibly gone bad before our having that's why the shelf stays stocked). Your other opinion would be Dole brand (those who eat fresh produce typically stay away from this brand due to their usage of chemicals). Of course they have some other brand that looks halfway acceptable except it comes as a "kit" with sauce and croutons..so if your plant based/gluten free (as I am) then you still would be able to purchase it because it'll either be contaminated or you'll be wasting money on product you don't need.

This Kroger is always understocked, and runs on the absolute minimum. The employees do what they can, but it's obvious there's some sort of management issue here. Failing to provide essential goods like eggs and corn was the last straw for me. I'll go elsewhere and to a different company.If you can, go elsewhere. This place is insufficient at providing goods, the basic function of a grocery store.

Hands down the worst grocery store I have ever been to. Filthy. Always a lack of stock. You never what is actually going to be available. The produce is often old and yesterday there were packs of mushrooms literally putrid. Worst managed store I’ve ever seen. Even though it’s only 5 minutes away we go out of our way to shop at others unless we have to. Ive lived in multiple states and seen many varieties of stores in various neighborhoods. Never one this consistently bad.

Smaller than the Marketplace Kroger in our town. However, there were things that I liked more than a larger Kroger. The deli and specialty items and desserts seemed easier to find. I'm sure the items are at my store, but I wouldn't even know where to look for some of the items that I saw. There was still a fairly good variety of brands even with more limited space.

This Kroger facility, and our family, had a mutually beneficial relationship for ~3 years during the COVID pandemic. They did a superb job and were amazing through the highs and lows of what transpired. Front-end staff and cashiers are still great even to today. Top compliments.However, we have now experienced ~4 weeks where frozen products were not safely maintained at the necessary temperature. It seems frozen product is left for hours in the isle and multiple refrigerator units are broken? Back-end staff have shrugged it off and purposefully announce it to customers as being "a few hundred bucks" of lost product. I don't trust them to not put that expired product in the freezer when we're not looking. Uploaded some pictures to show it and retain personal copies.I'm sorry, but, we won't return for at least ~2 years.

This store really needs new management. Their bottom line employees are good and nice (nothing against them), management is lacking ALOT. They are very rude and clearly dont pull expired products or make sure the pricing tags are accurate. There is also always expired products on the shelves. Even after this recent redo, I'm seeing lots of expired products all over the store! Today alone I saw three different products in different areas plain as day in the front row expired. One was expired by a year! They won't honor their posted prices, I constantly have to fight and PROVE with photos at the register to get the price it's labeled as on the shelf. Besides that with every product continuing to skyrocket in price, its not worth all the hassle. This has been my main shopping store but I won't be returning, I'd rather go across town to a different brand store that isnt rude and is not in disarray.

UPDATE since i caught her spitting and coughing at the bakery section especially the corn bread confronted her with her manager theres no more corn bread being sold here ....i wonder why......Do not buy anything from the bakery section Kroger employee Emily she is known for coughing and sneezing on the baked goods she intentionally does it because she just hates being there. Again her name is Emily at the bakery section

Worst meat department ever. No orders put in, no truck delivery, nothing in seafood case or display. No ground turkey. Leaving and going to Walmart where I prefer not to shop! Ridiculous

GET RID OF THE SPECTRUM SOLICITORS. I DON’T WANT TO BE BOTHERED BY THEM WHEN IM GETTING GROCERIES. This Kroger is fine. Constantly out of things because they get emptied out as soon as they get stocked. Surrounding area has outgrown the store. The actual Kroger staff is wonderful.

I like this Kroger, but the parking lot is always packed and hard to navigate through. It feels so small and cramped. The employees are usually nice though.

I recently visited this location, where usually I’m greeted and treated with pleasantries. But my most recent visit was the opposite, a worker named Amy treated me as if she couldn’t care less when I asked her, “Where is the bread aisle?”. So disappointed in this location, you definitely lost a customer.

Been meaning to leave this review for a couple of days now. And lady is lucky i forgot her name. She wasn’t rude or anything. However she was so focused on clocking out and that I had to bag my own stuff as if I had used self checkout. I can tell you it was Friday evening and she was working the last register by the door. The only other lane that hat wasn’t self check out. She was nice. But still I had paid and noticed she hadn’t moved to bag my stuff. So I did. The. She didn’t give me a receipt.

It feels like every item I order in this store rings up different than the sticker price in the isles. If it was just one item I might change it to just a mistake but the fact that 3/4 of the items in my cart today rang up vastly different than what was advertised it would lead me to believe that this is an an intended mistake because most people are buying hundred dollars worth of groceries at a time and won’t notice that you are only taking off $.50 as opposed to two dollars off the price of an item. I work too dang hard for my money and I definitely don’t want to waste my time shopping at a place that is trying to literally cheat its customers

I didn't think this Kroger could be any worse if they tried - Always out of stock of whatever you need, they got rid of the entire aisle of cold drinks, the deli pretty much doesn't even exist (has anyone EVER seen them serving food?), they never have fried chicken even though its "guaranteed to be in stock from 11am-7pm", there's never more than one cashier, the self checkouts are always left unattended, things ring up higher than what the tag on the shelf says....and now a new one: They don't even have SHOPPING CARTS. I went in at 11:30am on a weekday, there's a group of people standing around looking for carts. Literally no shopping carts in sight. How does that even happen? Oh there were plenty of employees standing around talking to each other and not doing anything though. I can't wait for Publix to come to Lexington and put Kroger out of business.

My favorite areas includes the butcher area, the fresh baked breads, the "Spirit Store", the pharmacy area, the soap and lotion area is always neat. Self checkout on both sides of the store. The negative: Stocking is awful sometimes 🙃. It's a busy store. Go midday or early morning.

This Kroger is amazing and is always kept well and they are very patient with customers. Today me and my hubby did our first Instacart order and we made the mistake of forgetting to give the cashier a code at the beginning of the order, despite a lot of items having already been checked out they were still patient with us and started over. Adrianna was a great help and she seemed to be very proficient at her job. Thank you guys ❤️

I just encountered two of the rudest worker's at the Kroger deli on Leestown Rd. There was no other customers waiting when I approached the deli. The two worker's were busy packaging meat they had cut. Both of the worker's saw me standing there waiting to be served but neither one of them ever addressed me. I waited patiently for at least 10 15 minutes before I realized they were not going to help me. I immediately went to the service desk to report them to the manager. The employee at the service desk paged that she needed a manager. Instead of a manager coming a male supervisor came and asked what I needed. I explained to him what happened at the deli. His only comment was he would go let them know when they see a customer they're supposed to help them. Now that is a joke! If the two adult women working at the deli did not have sense enough to know that they are there to serve customers then they don't need to be working in Kroger's period! They should be reprimanded along with the supervisor! I won't go back to that Kroger.

KROGER WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND OVERDRAFT YOU BANK ACXOUNT Placed delivery order for $30 they brought me the completely incorrect order - then charged me for all of the incorrect items -$55 and overdrafted my bank account - I keep a separate card for daily expenses that's what I used.They're solution a "partial refund in 7 to 10 business days"

I had a great experience with this store's curbside pickup for my groceries. The person who assisted me was quite pleasant and helpful, and even offered our dog a treat. More people should be like the folks who work here!

Please explain to me why this is the 4th week in a row that I have been called about my order not ready. The rep that I talked to today told me "if you need your groceries that bad, I can cancel your order and you can come in and shop for them". Fix your customer service.

930pm on Tuesday April 27 I call Leestown Kroger to make sure they could do a Western Union for me bc the Bryan Station money center was closed bc they were short on staff. The lady on the phone assured me they do until 10pm. At 9:45 I walk to the money center and the lady was packing up the register 15 minutes early and said she couldn’t even after I explained I called and drove 15 minutes to do the transaction. She said she didn’t know who I spoke with but she has to run reports so she closes 10 minutes early. It was 9:45. She could have done it but she was being lazy. I politely said well thanks. Just want the managers to know. If you want to pull the videos I’m a stocky guy in a white tank top. Reach out to me if you want to make this right and I’ll remove this review. Can’t stand lazy people and getting lied to.

I have no problems here except some third party people selling Spectrum internet are always there trying to harass me every time I go in. I try to avoid them but sometimes you just can’t help walking by them and they feel like that’s some kind of invitation.

I am a Kroger junkie. As my preferred choice for general grocery items, I’ve been to many, and this by far is the best Kroger I’ve been in. I love the atmosphere here and the way the store is set up and designed. There is always a great selection of fresh produce, and as you walk around the circle shaped store, you get to the frozen items right before check out, so you don’t have to worry about your food thawing out by the time you leave the store and make it home inside with your things. They always have a take-1 fruit option for free for kids and always have excess bakery items on sale. The staff are SO kind and always have smiles on their faces.

Today I was in this Kroger when my daughter passed out after giving blood about an hour earlier. I cannot express my gratitude to all of the staff for helping us, from calling 911, to the Doctor at the Little Clinic who stayed with her until she recovered, to Jessica who caught her while she was falling. This is my favorite Kroger, and I have been going there for over 30 years. Now, I know why. Thank you everyone! The staff is amazing.

Great store, don't like the layout as well as before they remodeled. Only bad thing I can say is the parking sucks! There's more handicap parking, no problem with that but the Online pick-up customers have their own section that is also right in the front. It seems like there are less parking spaces. The people are nice. Pharmacy doesn't open on time sometimes on Sunday morning. You dont know where to line up to pick up prescriptions which causes issues with people cutting line. Overall a good store and good location. Sometimes bathrooms are messy.

I paid for delivery of my groceries, received them with mold all over my strawberries so I called the store to see if they would credit my account instead of delivering new ones. The man on the phone said I would have to drive there with moldy strawberries to get a refund. They were only $5 so I don’t care enough to take my baby out in flu season which is obviously why I ordered the delivery option. After paying $10 for delivery and tipping the driver $6, I will never use the delivery option again. I always tell people about the delivery option but after this experience I will make sure to let people know to beware of shopping this way.

I'm new to the area. The staff are all very friendly and asked how I was doing or if I needed help. The sushi man made a roll fresh just for me (since I eat Veggie rolls) and the lady in the lunch bar made me a fresh salad as well! They were all very sweet! I love Kroger prices too.
