This one has been coming for a while.As an avid pet lover, this is just disgusting.There are DEAD pet Betta fish sitting on the shelf, the ones that are ALIVE have JUST enough water to be able to move.I have NEVER seen a place that could let this slide.They may be just "Fish", but that does not mean that this level of NEGLECT is alright.I have seen other reviews from months ago that show similar living conditions for the other animals in the store. While I was there I didn't see any others in this condition, but given fish are some of the most simple animals to care for... I can't help but worry about the other creatures in that store.Absolutely, utterly, tragic.I want to know how long fish have to sit in that water before they begin to SHRIVEL UP INTO BONES.I am seething at this store and will be reporting them to the animal control.

I seriously worry about the conditions the animals here are living in, the fish tanks are disgusting, the beta fish had barely an inch of water in their containers, and most of them looked like they were about to croak! I bought a dumbo rat from them and noticed when I got it home it was having respiratory issues that would come and go. I was hoping it would get better but it did not! It would randomly start breathing super fast, was lethargic, and wouldn't eat very much. We had it for a week and it unfortunately passed away. The staff here are not very knowledgeable and seem very aggravated to even be there, let alone assist a customer. Be prepared for a rude response and or eye rolls if you need any type of assistance. This place needs an entirely new staff, preferably people who will actually care for the animals there since that is their job!

Walked in at approximately 7:05 to wash my dog and notice no one was at the register or near the front of the store. I stood there for a few minutes before assuming no one was coming to help. I walked to the back of the store in hopes to find an employee. When I finally found an employee I was told the dog wash is only open until 9am - 8pm but they stop taking dogs at 7:30. However, they decided to close it early tonight. As I was walking out I heard another employee ask the employee I was talking to what I wanted, say said “He wanted a dog wash but he should have came earlier.” Please post the “real” dog wash hour online so no one else wastes their time, getting ready and taking their dog over there just to be turned away. I will now be looking for other places to wash my dog since this is not the first occurrence of poor customer service at this location. Save your time and go somewhere else

Extremely horrible customer service representatives. As soon as we walked in the door, instead of being greeted were yelled at by a very rude disgruntled sales rep. Feeder supply was once a very well respected and sought out store for my family. We will never go back, thanks to that one miserable individual and the fact that all fish tanks were extremely nasty and filthy, who would buy a fish from there? Also, due to the lack of supplies needed. I would highly recommend not visiting this particular store.If you don't comprehend how to treat customers, you shouldn't work a job that requires you to communicate with people!

I love going to Feeders Pet Supply for our fur babies' needs. Everyone is always very helpful. I know it is a chain dept store, but the staff makes it feel like it is a local store.

I have always had great experiences here and I frequent this store often. Customer service from the employees here has always been at worst good and at best phenomenal. It was no different this evening when I went in with my pitbull Nala. As always very welcoming and took initiative to ask me if I needed anything. On an unplanned whim I asked if they could give my dog's nails a trim. Im extremely protective over my baby so when they took her back I went ahead and grabbed some dog food and toys when I heard her yelp. I rushed back and they were almost done and Nala wasn't making any fuss so I waited til they got finished. I paid for my stuff and the services and left. When i.got home I noticed Nala was insistently licking one of her paws. Thats when I noticed they not only cut every nail on my dog's foot down to the quick but they've hit her paw pad with the Dremel tool they use and it caused a really big part of her paw to bleed and look raw. They also failed to even mention this to me. I'm a lil furious right now. Absolutely DO NOT take your pets here for any grooming services. But great place to buy pet $#it

Cheaper than petsmart! Just went right after opening. It's clean, bright, employees are nice...and best of all the normal stuff I get was lower price than at petsmart. This will be my new regular shop 🎉

Needed crickets for our bearded dragon and other critters. But there was a great selection of products too. Great for anything you could need for your pets. Nice fish selection and other small animals. The people working were nice.

We took our dog here so I could give him a bath. I’ve always bathed him at home but I thought this would save my back. No one greeted us when we entered, and when the staff came out they were standoffish and didn’t offer any assistance or information even though it was our first time and I specifically asked for help twice. She said there were instructions in the bathing room and there wasn’t, and the bathing room was absolutely filthy with previous dogs’ fur everywhere. We couldn’t even use the dryer hose on our dog as a result because it just blew the dog fur all over the room and back onto our clean dog and over our clothes.Very disappointing experience :(

Horrible costumer service .. I try to ask for help to find a price for a cage and the girls in the front , told me that I could find it my self .. never going back to that store .. they need to hire better people

I was so excoted to see this store. I shop for my dogs at Feeders. I was very disappointed there were no restrooms for the customer, and no carts to transport the food and supplies I needed to purchase.

This was the 4th time I went to this location. An you would think by now that the pricing on the items would be correct but NO . I keep hearing the same story that there working in it how much time do you need to fix the price on the product I get seriously it’s been months an still not fixed. I’m finally done with this location I’ll go somewhere where the people are at least willing and working in trying to fix the problem.

The female manager is so unprofessional and lazy. Barely wanna do anything with they fish tanks they are nasty. They will literally lie to you if you bring a fish back and blame it on your water quality knowing it’s there’s, and they don’t have much knowledge on fish at all. Hope this place gets new staff.

I go every week for bird seed. Besides going to Winchester or Georgetown to pick it up from another competitor, Feeders Supply is the cheapest in Lexington for Wild Birdseed.
