The store is not tidy or organized, they seem to be stocking in every isle making navigation of the store impossible. Sale items are not marked, there is no weekly sale flyers, employees seem disinterested. This location needs a complete overhaul

This place is always trashed. They are in a state of stocking usually without stocking personal.If you park in the parking lot before they open, you are told to leave because they claim you might rob them in broad daylight.I think they hate customers here and are waging a campaign of bad custo.er service on them.Don't shop here. We could use one less Dollar General.

Keep your receipts here because they accuse you of stealing TO YOUR FACE, WHEN YOU have already PAID (infront of them) and SHOWN receipts. THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT and have nasty employees. I feel so disrespected

This place is so much nicer now and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what is in the store. It is now cleaner and far less cluttered. Prices are labeled below the product, so you no longer have to guess how much some of the products are. They greet you with a welcome as soon as you walk in the door now, too. There is a lot more of product variety, as well.

I've been going to this store regularly for a couple years now. And by regularly, I mean several times every week. I've always loved that they have a small fridge, and freezer section, as well as shelf food aisles. This dollar store does not have clothing. This time last year I would have given this store 5 stars!!! However, staff changes made over the last 6 months or so has had a very dramatic negative impact on the store in my opinion compared to when Pam ran the store. The girls that used to work there were so friendly!! And always working hard, never leaving you waiting at the counter... Everyone who always worked there is gone and the new group of guys are quite the opposite of the previous staff.Sad to not love this store so much anymore

It has changed since 2010, but it's still a pretty good still. I do feel unsafe slightly there, that's why I put 3 stars. They have some pretty good staff there now, even though I slightly do believe some of them might be doing drugs - but they're very kind employees nonetheless.

Too many items just sitting on racks that pretty much block anyone that was in a wheelchair, on crutches or walker/cane. The store has great customer service, but someone really needs to help clear the isle-ways here so shoppers can get to what they need...accident waiting to happen at this location!

The lady working register was very nice. The Isles were a little cluttered but that's because they're short-staffed I think. But I found everything that I needed. Which I cannot say that from Walmart when I go in there LOL.

This was my 1st time shopping at this particular Dollar General. The store was exceptionally clean. Staff was very friendly and profession and helpful. All merchandise was in proper order . There are various other Dollar general stores here in Lexington, however none of the other in Lexington can even compare to this Dollar General. FROM NOW ON I WILL ALWAYS SHOP AT THIS DG STORE. This place is a dump and has ruined our neighborhood with it's trash and it's obvious disregard for it's appearance. It is filthy inside and out. The employees are not paid enough to care. Every time you go someone new is working and they never last more than a few weeks. I spoke with the area manager once and she said that the neighborhood was bad so she had no reason to clean up the store. We DO NOT live in a bad neighborhood. Everyone is friendly and we all know each other. DOllar General is making our neighborhood look bad. The neighbors need to come together and get rid of Dollar General. We need to find a retailer that cares about us, about our neighborhood, and about their own appearance and reputation.

I walked in and apparently there was an incident of someone trying to steal something. The Manager (She was not dressed well. Her stomach was out hanging from under her shirt. No name tag. No professional appearance) She mentioned doing the work schedule. She was explaining to the cashier that she seen it all on video. She said the F/&= word throughout the entire conversation. I still can't believe that people use profanity in the workplace. The Cashier had to be called to the front of the store to cash someone out. It was a sad scene. I actually hate going into that Dollar General.

Local store. Stocked shelves can be hit or miss. Friendly staff though some customers can be a bit rough but harmless. Decent selection with a little of every thing. Large parking area. Worth a stop for your random needs.

The lower score has nothing to do with the empmoyees, theyre always nice and helpful. Which is why it got 3 stars. However as far as the store itself and its location, it is very cluttered due to how small it is, other Dollar generals are in much larger buildings. &It unfortunately gets robbed multiple times a year. Tbh I'm afraid to take my child there.

Had the worst experience there. My wife went there to purchase a few items. When she checked out at the cash register the employee rang her up 3 times.My wife let the cashier now of the issue. She said she didn't no how too and to come back tomorrow for the manager, but the cashier was a manager.My wife went back next day and no one could figure out how to put the extra money that was charged back on her card. My wife still hasn't been refunded but 27 dollars they still owe 54 dollars to us. We're disabled and have to live on a budget and 54 dollars can buy food for or family. Buyers beware!!!!

Everytime i go in this store it's always cluttered with boxes , very dirty floors ,prices are not marked on things so i just dont buy it. I mean come on people if you want to sell things please mark them . its so hot in these stores im sweaty very bad when im shopping i dont understand how there workers can stand it maybe thats why its always dirty and nothing put up or marked .

These people accused my wife of stealing the last time that she was in the store.well my wife hasn't been inside if that store in over a year. How rude,embarrassing,and unprofessional. She cried for over an hour. We will never step foot back in that place.

Nice personnel. A good place to pick up household supplies at some of the cheapest prices. No Frozen or refrigerated food section. However, do have a good choice of Dry Goods.

There's a neighborhood atmosphere to this space, personable, reminescent of the old sitcom CHEERS- you enter half expecting a chorus of "NORM!!!" to go up around . Though small; compared to others in Lexington proper, there is a quantity of every alottment I've ever found in other Dollar General locations, however this location serves the Bryan's Station, Anniston Dr., North Pointe and other areas convenient to it's "Hi-Acres" locale and more times than not I'll make a quick stop after i call home for a check of the fridge (milk, bread and sandwich cold cuts are staples in our house)then there's the mid-week add-ons of: Dog Chow, motor oil, and toilet paper which leads to the obligatory HUGGIES "wet-wipes" - "No Mrs. Hanks, Katy and I have not welcomed a New Edition to our family, we use these for personal hygiene after the tissue. I'm glad we ran into each other, I wanted to ask you what time Saturday was best for you, to have me and the boys deliver your mulch and I'll set out your new Rose Bushes? ... Come to think of it, I'd better get some miracle grow overwhelming in home and garden "... That's my neighborhood Dollar General!
