I have never been to any other Goodwill store like this one. When going into the store, they have the color of the week posted like other stores, but whenever you get to the checkout, the clerk will inform you that the discount for the color of the week is only for clothing!! They do not discount anything else!!Yesterday, the color was yellow.... It is now the end of February and they still have more than two rows of Christmas items crowded on the shelves! That's right... not discounted!Besides that, I had already noticed that the houseware items were very overpriced. Some of them had as high or higher than brand new prices on them! This is an army town. People have a hard time making ends meet.The only prices that seemed to be somewhat regulated in the whole store were the clothing prices... but, that doesn't include some of the higher prices on some of the tennis shoes.Someone from corporate definitely needs to make a surprise visit to this place. It can't be just me and the people who were in the store yesterday that have this opinion!! The items in the store have been donated by people in an attempt to help others. I am not saying that the items should be given to the people who are wanting to buy them, but I am saying that the items should be sold at a discounted and reasonable price... Perhaps like today's yard sale prices, but certainly not at new or near new, or higher than new prices. Shame on you Goodwill of Hopkinsville KY!

Use to rate this place highly, but now they've closed the dressing rooms and won't let you try things on before you buy. You also can't return things that don't fit. Went from a charity to a scam overnight. Hopefully the regional leadership will find a new doctor to adjust his medication so they can return to a more rational form of cognition. Until then, just go to the salvation army. Sure, they're a bunch of deranged cultists, but they aren't trying to steal from you.

I love this spot because I always find hidden gems, prices are hit and miss. I love most of the ladies that work here but there is one woman who takes the racks of clothing out and hangs them up. An older woman with glasses who wears her hair back in a low pony. She is so rude and passive anytime I’ve had an encounter with her. I might look younger but I am a 30 old grown woman and do not need to be spoken to that way. A simple “excuse me” would suffice.

This is a smaller store compared to others, but I mainly go here to shop for kids clothes and shoes at $1.99/ea, and $1.00 for the color of the week! They don’t participate in the Rewards program, and they don’t offer a military discount (they don’t really have to being located so close to Ft Campbell) but after being stationed several places, I understand Goodwill is a franchise, and every state has different discounts and promotions.They definitely have the best prices on kids clothing, half the price of the Goodwill stores in TN right across the border, and the employees are very friendly.

A Goodwill is only going to have what's brought in, so the selection is what it is. The store is clean and well organized. They need to work on customer service. As I was waiting in the one line open, with four other people, another cashier opened the second register. Instead of allowing the next in line to go over, a woman who just waltzed up and started laying her stuff on the counter was helped. If I hadn't wanted a few of the books I had in my hands, I would have put them down and left. It might be better to put up a line to funnel people in rather than let customers jump the line on people who have waited.

I shopped at your store today, when I got there I asked a blonde haired worker how much a bookcase cost, she said no sticker meant someone was going to buy it. I shopped for an hour spent $50.00. Again I asked about the bookcase, story changed to it didn't have a sticker yesterday. I asked a dark haired worker that a sticker be put on it so I could buy it. I was told I would have to wait 15,20,or 30 minutes, I waited 20 minutes and asked about it again, this time a worker came from the back and told me a sticker couldn't be put on the bookcase until in the morning. I live an hour from Hopkinsville, so I am tremendously disappointed in not getting this bookcase, I will not go to your store again.

I don't know if the cockroaches crawling all over the books deserves a 1 star or 2 stars. I pop in from time to time but.... not really after witnessing that. Was going to keep to myself but when you have set prices on the same article of clothing that has holes, stains, and RAT DROPPINGS STUCK TO A SWEATER... just doesn't seem right. I enjoy when Goodwill sets their prices accordingly.Overall, just a really tiny Goodwill and not the cleanest whatsoever. Hopskinsville could use a larger more updated Goodwill!

I do like this place. The people are always nice and it's fairly priced. I do however have an issue with not wrapping up the fragile items when purchased. I bought a glass percolator for 20.00 and the lady just stu k it on the bag. Well by the time I got home it was cracked. Ot really sucks she couldn't take 2 seconds and wrap it. .

Donated clothing for the same price as Walmart clothes on sale. Absolutely insane prices for used clothes that was donated.The clothing here and at all goodwill stores should be garage sale prices at the most.Sorry, but these places should be for people who are in need of nice things for themselves and their children.. people who are financially struggling but stillcare about their appearance. It sickens me to see how much they are charging for items people donated thinking they were clothing people who cared but couldn't afford.

The staff was friendly, a lot of good finds, a bits unorganized. The departments were separated, but the men's for example sizes were scattered. Could just mean that customers are not putting things in the right spot.

Not the largest Goodwill I've ever been in but then, Hopkinsville isn't the largest town I've ever been in. This is a nice enough place with plenty of merchandise. It's also got books. Not many, true, but the selection is constantly changing and I've found a few treasures there. The staff is always pleasant and friendly.

Probably the best Goodwill in this area of Kentucky. The building is built specifically for the store, so it has plenty of room. It is pretty well organized. Sometimes on heavy days there may be some shopper clutter, but they keep it up better than the local retail stores in that regard. The prices are usually fair. You may find the occasional item that seems way too high, but those are rare exceptions.Watch for the color tags on clothes. On certain days, a color of tag will be on sale. That is the best time to get a great deal on clothes. Here's a secret, the local consignment and vintage clothing stores shop here! So you know the prices are good if they find deals for resale.Great place to just browse, relax, and maybe find an old record, some gently used jeans, a teddy bear, knock knacks, etc, etc. You never know what you will see.

I gave it 1 star cause its nice and cleaned up for the most part and the women who checked us out was nice but they have signs up in all the isles that say monday-satuday 50% off and Sunday 99cent day but nothing was half off and I spend almost 20 bucks on 4 items. Thats way to much at any goodwill.They took away the rewards system and my nana was with me and she usually uses her senior discount and they don't do that anymore. These are old and used clothes they shouldn't be high on the price anyways but please take your signs down. I would have just not bought nothing if I knew it was gonna be that high but I didn't want to sound rude. One star for cleanliness.

Their lucky they got one from me ! I usually shop at this store religiously I even introduced it to my fiancé ! Today I go in to get a birthday outfit and i asked a cashier if she thought it was pretty , she turned her nose up at me laughed and said no and kept saying how it wasn’t cute but “it’ll work” ! The manager said her name was Cindy and she will “talk to her” this place will never get my business again I’ll will go to another before stepping foot in this business! She told me “it’s not flashy enough for your 21st”

Allowed 5 items in at time to try on but women griping about people with a buggy of clothes to try on. The mgr should have told them they had to wait their turn. First come first serve! Then the handicap dressing room was closed due to seat being broken. That needs to be a available for people as well. When I shop there I always get a buggy of clothes to try on because 90% dont fit usually because sizes on clothing is not accurate for women. They need to count all clothing going in and all coming out and allow people to just enjoy their shopping experience.

I love this Goodwill. I mean I love Goodwill in general, but they've always been so nice. I worked at a psychiatric hospital, and they gave me a good deal on kid's jackets last winter to bring to work and distribute among the children who didn't have warm clothes. Will always keep them in mind when shopping second hand.

Always clean and well organized. Lots of variety, selection changes up every now and again. Friendly customer service.They do charity work within the community, too! If you take your clothes, tell them you want them to go to Christian county public schools youth services!

The workers are always helpful and pleasant.They often have new items for sale (donated by stores). A couple of years ago I bought my brothers entire summer wardrobe, all brand new; tags and stickers still on at good will! This year by checking frequently I have purchased several currently fashionable outfits for myself. By carefully checking current trends and frequently checking the selection at Goodwill we get stylish clothing at below discount store sale prices! How much better can it get?

i live about 30 minutes from this location and decided to come on the search for baby items. the store was large but the shelves were unorganized. the staff was friendly though. their infant section was bare and they didn’t honor my military discount. one of my items was missing things in the box and i wasn’t given a receipt to return it.

Place is good. The only thing that I noticed ...clothes should separate by colors and styles so people can pick up easily. The sizes are the only thing that are separated... a little bit dizzy on how they arranged the store. Just need a little cleaning also... coz some are really dusty.. so people will encourage to buy more even if it's old and used...

This is a good place for work clothes and whatnots. My daughter loves this place calls it the will store. She always finds a few new toys or something for a shelf. The employees here are awesome always kind and helpful. You can find vhs movies and books here as well as pots and pans and the occasional cool wall hanging.

Good for some home decor, clothes, toys, kitchen items. UPDATE: this store has turned into a 99 cent Goodwill store. Be prepared to dig through large bins. These bins are larger that a watermelon bin you would find at Walmart. If you find something 9 times out of 10 it is broken or pieces missing. Very disappointed that this store has changed. Will never go back. Don't care if the price is cheaper. Not going to break my back trying to find anything.

It's an okay Goodwill, I've remembered the countless nights I've had donating to this location than I've shopped in it. It's mostly a clothing store at that with some knick knacks on the side. Decent service, nice organization and overall okay.

Shopping at our local goodwill really paid off for us this season.My budget was tight and my little ones were in need of summer clothes. I even managed to find a little something for myself. The employees were really helpful and very polite.

I go to the Hopkinsville goodwill store as often as I can. They have great deals. Don't forget half off on the first Saturday. They also offer job opportunity to people in the community. You should definitely stop by and see them.

One of the best Goodwill stores I have ever been to. Great selection. I find tons of books for my sons. The employees are always really sweet.
