All of our items were easy to find and when we needed help. Everyone welcomed us and were prompt with our requests. Also, I have to mention that they had the smoothest quietest buggies I have every used. I am not sure why but that really stuck out to me. The entire experience was a delight.

Listen yall. This Starbucks that is inside the store is one of the worst that I have been to. When no one is in line and your wait is still 15 minutes for 2 drinks, pretty bad. Customer service is hit and miss at best. Just all around disappointing

There are outrageously High here Walmart or Save-A-Lot beats them very badly. They do have things that other stores don't. That does help and the store is always clean

What a nice grocery store in a pretty small country town. Deli food was delicious and produce section was very nice everything looks fresh and displayed nicely. Vegetarian section was also very substantial lots of options to choose from thanks for that! Also the chocolate covered strawberries were delicious so sweet!The down side was we ate in the small seating area. There was a guy eating who I assumed was a customer. But when he finished he didn’t even clean up his table he just made a mess on and then went to the deli and told the guy behind the counter to clean up the area and was quite loud and rude in front of many customers. To my surprise he was a manager! He was a slob and didn’t need to speak the way he did to the other staff he definitely needs some remedial managerial training.

There are a lot of workers at Food City that I like. The meat dept is great, always very friendly and clean. There is a manager who has short white hair and is THE BEST woman I have met. She needs a raise as she very friendly and helpful.

An above average grocery option. A less stressful experience than some larger alternatives. The staff seem friendly and happy, which makes all the difference. The wait time at registers is also pleasantly reasonable. A decent option for floral items. In-store bakery has had some problems in the past and would recommend checking items prior to purchase.

A great alternative to big corporations. Small town feel, good prices, awesome selection. I avoid crowds, lines and humans in general as much as possible and this store usually has little to none of the aforementioned.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I LEFT A BAG OF MY GROCERIES AND WHEN BACK THE NEXT DAY WHEN THAT SHIFT WAS WORKING AND THEY REMEMBERED FINDING THEM. I WENT AND RE- GOT MY ITEMS AGAIN WITH NO PROBLEM. SO GREAT AND HELPFUL.

Always have everything I need, and the deli has the best prices on breakfast and lunch, good home cooked food and the cheapest prices you will find. I love the meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beads and cornbread all for $5.00. The meat and seafood department is best, bar none. The store is always clean and a very helpful staff. I give them a 5 out of 5 star rating.

I was staying at the Hampton Inn, Hazard, Kentucky and this Food City is right across the parking lot. Great location! I went in and the store is well lit, fresh and clean, and well-stocked. Being from the East, it was amazing, bordering on amusing, the long isle of refrigerator products well stocked with wines and beers, things you wouldn't find in a regular supermarket back where we live, in Jersey. On to the other Isles, they have a great variety of products and even kitchen items that I needed. I was easily able to find whatever I wanted and the prices and sale items were very competitive. Great place to shop!

Very clean and decent prices for the products they have. The meats are very reasonable which is great, one of the reasons we go there. Stock up and freeze it. Very nice employees.

Management rude and lazy! Had about 20 people in line to checkout and only 1 cashier. Then the manager came over and closed that register to give the cashier a break instead of taking over for her. When I asked "what about all these people in line?", The manager was extremely rude. Rolled his eyes, turned his back and told me to check out my $300 Worth of groceries at the 10 items or less self checkout. I had 5 children with me. When I said it wasn't right to do that to people, they wouldn't let me get my groceries and banned me from the store, for simply speaking up. The hazard, KY. food city is ran by pompass punks on a power trip

Love the self checkout at the store. I am one of those people who moves at their own pace and steers clear of long lines, especially in these times we are living in. I have noticed that the store has been out of certain items that they used to make in house, such as: cornbread and the like, perhaps the pandemic has been the cause of this.
