Be careful to check the dates on perishables here I have bought out of date spoiled items here twice in two months time. Prices are about average unless something is on sale. I only shop here for dry or caned goods these days. Things seem to have improved here lately, store seems cleaner and brighter and I think the new fridge system looks great!

A hometown feel with a variety of items one might need for groceries, dinner, lunch, breakfast, or just a snack. This is a family friendly, kid friendly shop that allows you to just browse or pick up a great newspaper. A great place to buy items for most occasions.

It is always a great experience when I go in this store. Very competitive prices. I love the choices in the deli.The only thing that I don't understand is why they never have carryout people anymore. That has always been one of the things that made them special. Since the new management has taken over I haven't been in there once when there has been anyone to help me out with my groceries.

The best cream filled donuts. There casher has a bager that bags your stuff and put it in your grocery cart and good sells on easter candy's

Go here for convenience only. Hardly find what I need unless it's the basics. Produce not fresh that I've ever seen. High prices, expired or close to expired items. At times many shelves are empty. I would suggest new management.

Great family-friendly grocery store. Have lived here my entire life and it is nice to have a local store to go to, where you often see a familiar face. Always have good prices in certain departments and the people are very nice. They even cash checks!! Oh and the donut holes are amazing, so only buy a small amount because you will eat every single one that you buy, hungry or not, LOL.

It is a country setting,where the people greet you when you walk in the door. Might even talk about the weather or the road construction while your checking out.. Friendly people. And the Deli is one of the best you can get home cooked food to go on your lunch break they are fast and can handle 5 or six of us guys getting lunch at the same time thanks food fair. Love the cobbler

This food fair is larger on the inside than the outside. Everything in here is cheap and affordable, the workers there are very nice. Bought 4 frozen Salisbury Steak meals for only $12.

It's very conveniently located and has a a nice selection of items. The deli is what my family uses most often. The only thing that keeps my review from 5 stars is that sometimes the canned and boxed items are past their expiration dates. It's not such a big deal to check before buying but I know that it bothers some people.

I like Greenup Food Fair staff they will give you smile and always ready to help find items in the store..when you are at the check out most workers are pleasant and doesn't mind checking you out...others look at you like why are you bothering me and this is really hurts my feelings.. Cause I really don't want to impose on anyone wish they would just say go to another lane .

Great place to stop off and get a deli sandwich that is reasonably priced. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anyone in the area to go there.

Applegates is a lovely little store providing most things one would hope to find. Prices are a little higher and you have to watch your meat quality, but overall a place that I enjoy shopping and interacting with people in.

Great Meat Department—Black Angus Beef is the best you can find at any supermarket In this area!! Their pork selection offers a great variety of cuts, lean and boneless. Greenup Food Fair is especially clean and offers the best Deli selections, second to none! Their friendly and helpful staff are the best. Thank you for serving the Greenup area for all our grocery needs.

Don’t enforce mask regulations, items are extremely high priced. Kinda dirty and run down, small. Can go to Walmart or even Kroger in Ashland to buy a bag of chips that’s 3$ here, it’s 2$ there just for a small example. It’s fine if you just need a few things and don’t want to go too far.

It's as neat as a pin and so clean you can eat from the floor. The Forth family has been in the grocery business at least fifty years and it shows. Small store... reasonably priced. What's NOT to like!

I do like going here to get my groceries. Smaller than Walmart and kroger but more friendly and helpful. Everytime I go in at least one person stocking asks if I need any help finding anything.

The only place locally that carries my son's formula. Hypoallergenic. Could label things that are "WIC approved" better but their prices aren't too bad either. Mostly pleasant experience. 😁
